Family and friends have been waiting for Equatorial to open again and it was so worth the wait! The building is so sexy and you can tell that so much thought was put into the decorations. There's a rocking horse at the reception!
The service staff is amazing! So polite, professional, but most importantly, it felt genuine. Have been to the coffee house a couple of times and from the buffet, please have the roti canai, and satay. So good!
Nice and bright new EQ, just had a wedding dinner there today 02 Nov, impressed by the service, the food and soup is surprisingly warm when served, usually during wedding dinners, the fish is usually cold when it arrives at your table and soup is hardly warm. Kudos to the team at EQ!

Service in this hotel is beyond excellent which words itself could not be described. You will be amazed by their level of service and truly a five star hotel in the heart of the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur. Closed proximities, walking distance to major iconic shopping centres being KLCC and Pavilion.
The luxurious interior design is just breathtaking and the facilities are exquisite, most importantly the environment and vibe are so warm, relaxing and welcoming. High level of comfort.
The food at Sabayon and Blue located at highest level of the hotel with amazing views were magnificent, drinks and cocktails are good. We had a mesmerising experience. In room dining was prompt with wide selection of cuisine to choose from.
A special thank to Aslina Semsudin for being so attentive, friendly and providing such a great service to us. The hotel team for making our stay as comfortable as you can with extremely polite and positive attitude. The hotel is well managed with staffs having very good work ethic and well trained evidently from what we experienced during our stay.

They really made an effort to make our anniversary more meaningful, from room reservation by email( they customized a package for us that include room, dinner, breakfast, spa + prompt reply), room decoration for my anniversary and everyone were wishing us happy anniversary and not forget our luxurious romantic spa treatment.. Eventhough its a short staycation, it really made us feels warmth and refreshing.

I proposed to my girlfriend today at this place. I imagined a simple and discrete proposal, as we are both kinda private person.
The place, and it's lovely team exceeded my expectations. They went out of their way to accommodate my proposal and added few touch of details to make the proposal extra special.
Rooftop view is the best in KL. Drinks were great. And the complimentary chocolate further exemplify the team's exceptional hospitality.

Wow!!!.First time check in here with my friends last week. Spacious room with KLCC view. The staff was very accommodating, from the lobby staff to the people in the dinner buffet. The location was central to everything i wanted to do. Will stay here for next visit.

It has been a long time since I had last tasted such a sublime reduction du boeuf accompanied with a most succulent filet de boeuf.
Can only attest to grand ballroom that looks superb and above average food that was catered to the event as i was there for a Raya open house even.
Beautiful Hotel, great exterior and interior design. Brand new facilities with soon to be opened, one of the highest rooftop bar in KL.

Was here for an annual event and was definitely very pleased by the whole place. Staff are super friendly and the whole place is incredibly professional. Catering is also superb and will leave you wanting more. Recommend this place for hosting events if you seek an upclass venue in the middle of KL

Have a very enjoyable stay at the EQ hotel, rooms were fantastic and clean. The facilities were modern and the service from the staff were excellent. Definitely one of the better hotels here in Kuala Lumpur. Parking was convenient and KLCC is within walking distance as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful 5 star experience
Room
We decided on the premier King room. It is as per pictured on the official website. An impressive corner room with the view of the Twin Towers and KL Tower. Beautifully designed and practical with a big work desk, wardrobe area and large sliding doors to the bathroom is a real plus! I think it might have been a safety feature but the hot water was not quite hot enough for a relaxing bath.

The back entrance has plenty of hybrid car charging points! What a plus!!
Gym, Spa & Pool
Such a well designed gym with fantastically new equipments and plenty of classes. The pool is shaded in the morning but really hot in the afternoon (good for those who want a tan)! You can see the sunset in the evening. Loved the Himalayan sea salt sauna and aromatherapy steam bath! Unfortunately also not quite hot enough!

I have stayed at many hotels, but EQ was a totally new experience for me. The hotel is brand spanking new, and indeed some of the guest floors and the roof top bar have yet to open. But what struck me was the genuine warmth of all the EQ family, from the door man through to the front desk and to the wonderful friendly faces in the lounge, all the way to the GM, the Group CEO and his lovely wife. Everywhere you could feel the love and passion poured into every detail, and the genuine quiet pride of the CEO as he talks about transom free lift doors and speakers in the pool and the Aha! room! I stayed at a smart Deluxe King, a beautiful bright corner room. All the room entrances open into alcoves leading off the main corridor, which ensures privacy. Floors are wooden, which brings a lovely warmth and cosiness to any room, more so a hotel room. The lounge on the 50th floor is spacious, expansive and luxurious without being loud and garish. The breakfast is a good spread, and although my fellow guests thought the range smaller than the ground floor Nipah Restaurant, I found it more than satisfactory. There is an afternoon tea with scones cream and jam, and evening cocktails with generous platters that would be good enough for dinner. And ask for the teh tarik!
The hotel is very well located, with KLCC and Pavilion shopping centre only minutes away by a very pleasant walk through a covered elevated airconditioned walkway. My friend managed to nip out and pick up some bargains from a pro golfshop nearby in 30 minutes.
I could go on, but I think you get the picture. I love this hotel, and I want to especially thank Radhika of Reservations and all the EQ family at reception, Nipah, the lounge and the concierge, and also to the GM, Robert, who sought us out and was there at checkout to see us off.
But most of all I want to end with a personal note of thanks to the group CEO Donald and his lovely wife Lek, old and dear friends who have made this hotel truly a home away from home and have filled it with their love and hospitality. There are no employees in EQ, only family. Thank you for making that happen.
Attended an annual dinner at the main banquet hall, screen and audio systems are superb, but hall size is rather small and tables setup are narrow. Foods and dishes need improvement. Visited the rooftop bar too, need clear instructions from the front desk to arrive up. View was stunning, but cocktail selection were limited.
It was a great experience. Suitable for family vacation and business trip. Ramadan buffet 2019 was amazing. Limited choices, but high quality food. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended
Our 2 night stay in a Deluxe King room on the 44th floor was excellent in all aspects - bright large room modern in earthy tones with up-to-date universal plug-points, with most comfortable bed, good size & well-appointed bathroom, with a stunning view of the Petronas Twin Towers, & serviced by the most polite, smiling, helpful, & friendly staff at all levels. Good breakfast available to start the day. Definitely the hotel of my choice in Kuala Lumpur! Thank you for making our stay a most enjoyable & memorable one - we will be back!

Came here for a seminar. This place is very well kept. Facilities are nice and frequently cleaned. Food and beverages provided is good. Parking rate is reasonable with event flat rate if RM 12 per day. Function hall is comfortable and spacious with high quality big screens.

Family trip to Malaysia, stayed at newly opened EQ hotel. It is an amazing experience. We love their staffs, the infinity swimming pool, 50th floor lounge and the comfortable bed. Exceptional services and beautifully designed bedroom.
Attended a wedding dinner here. Lots of car park space. Beautiful hotel and the banquet hall was so beautiful. The protection screen was so huge same it was like a cinema/ auditorium. The food was ok. Parking on weekends is rm12.
New place with very friendly and helpful staff. Elegant spaces for coffee and dining. Lovely bar (Blue) and restaurant (Sabayon) up on the 51st floor. Blue has a hidden entrance. Great views of KL. They do have a dress code so take note of that before going.

Superb. From the moment i arrived and was greeted by their execellent and friendly staff. Check in was smooth. I was given complementary late check out even without requesting. Room was very modern and spacious. Bed very comfy. They provide complementary mini bar. Wow..that is another plus point. Infinity pool was great. They have jacuzzi pool too. Kids enjoy it very much. Walking distance (10 min) to both klcc and pavilion. Overall this is the hotel that provide u with 5 star service with very2 affordable rate. Will definitely visit again.
