The rooms are reasonable, but at least what I've stayed is not referring to the stars that the hotel has, much lower room for the referred stars. Good service, reasonable breakfast.

Interesting hotel, well located, classic, well decorated, very beautiful inside and even better on the outside, with stunning scenery.

Buffet breakfast with variety and quality but confusing, everything was distant without a concise organization, I noticed and regretted the lack of variety of peeled fruits.
As for the rooms, an old but functional concept, although they are not small, they are not practical in the organization of the space, but with everything, deeply regretting the size of the bathrooms and the quality of them, A TINY BATHTUB WITH CURTAIN? This was already used 30 years ago, but nowadays they are completely out of the acceptable, without comfort or water savings, because there are taps that don't even remind me of their existence, that is, some works made all the difference in my opinion.
As for the price if comparing to a modern hotel of the same category, I will find it expensive due to the quality of the conditions it offers.

A magnificent place: great view from the rooms, fantastic construction that gives unique access to the beach and the city.
Simply sublime breakfast (lunch and dinner was not included, so I can't say).
It was a wonderful weekend spent in Sesimbra.
A single drawback is the fact that access to the rooms and breakfast or reception (which is on the same floor) is made by elevator and has a large turnout and having to wait for some time ...
There is already something unusual; enter the reception which is actually the 9th floor !!! Uauuu As the building is on a cliff, the sea level marks the floor number =)

Very good location, facing the sea. The space of the bar is the place that stands out, especially the balcony facing the sea. Very old, and that easily reminds us of the 60's. On the one hand it is good, as it gives it a melancholy and vintage look, on the other it needs some urgent updates, the decor being too austere, which gives it a little ambience comfortable. Breakfast has little quality and variety. The internal organization is confusing and can easily be lost in the dark corridors and in the various elevators. To get from the reception to the beach front exit, you have to go down a staircase, take 2 different elevators and go through 2 aisles.

A nice hotel in the middle of Sesimbra and more importantly, at the feet of the beach. Nice ocean view from the room. And friendly helpful staff. However, the hotel is outdated.. It needs renewing. Luckily it is all clean. Unfortunately WiFi is not available in the entire hotel. The prices you have to pay when you go to hotel directly yourself are way too high. On several bookings sites you will find more acceptable prices. Swimming pool (indoor and outdoor) sauna etc are a very nice plus of course. And also very much appreciated:the private parking space for free. You can even charge your electric car. If find a room for the right price and you don't mind an outdated interior, this hotel is definitely a place to stay.

I came here from the end of the course trip from Valdemoro, Madrid with my classmates from the 4th year of ESO from the IES Villa de Valdemoro and the hotel is beautiful, it is 4 stars, they look after you well, it has good views, it is cool, but ..., the food is not the best, the steaks are dry and there are very rare macaroni. Another bad thing is that when we arrived the rooms were full of bugs, but we killed them and that's it.

Located in one of the most beautiful villages in Portugal where the freshness and aromas of the sea reign, where you can eat good grilled fish, the hotel staff is excellent, everything 5 stars, Sesimbra ... who misses <3

We stayed 4 days and 3 nights, I liked it in general, both the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff.
The breakfast is nice but they could complete with some more fruits and sweets.
The pool, despite being cleaned every day, presents some residues of feces and seagull feathers, which is normal given that there are lots of seagulls around the area and nature is like that.
In general, despite being an old hotel, it is very pleasant to spend holidays, they meet the hygiene and safety requirements due to COVID.

Second time I stayed at this hotel and I really like it. Excellent landscaping and professional service. The food similar to many hotels is reasonable, maybe you could have more variety and the better quality desserts.

Even though the hotel is a 4 star, for me it does not deserve more than 3, just like my rating. Its good points, located in front of the sea, big room, pool in the hotel and very welcoming staff. Negatives, I think the decoration has not been changed for 50 years, no mixer in the room water, noisy fridge in the room, breakfast with a lot of choice but the quality is not at the rendezvous. I would put a 5/10 for breakfast as the fruit was good. Personally I will not recommend this hotel. He has no charm. And if he had not been in front of the sea I would have put 2.

Nice hotel. Only the rooms need some update. But overall very good. The bar deck is fantastic.

The Hotel is in need of a refurbishment but it provides a very pleasant stay since its employees the magnificent view and easy access to very good Villa recommend

The rooms, despite being huge and having a spectacular balcony, are carelessly decorated, as it seems that nothing has changed in the last few years.
Quite difficult to go to the beach or the marginal with a baby carriage, as there are no ramps, or elevators even to the floor 0

I was in August, it is in an idyllic situation. The hotel is a bit dated, but good service and employees make up for it. The situation with respect to the town is ideal. Good restaurants with excellent fish and the stew looked appetizing, although I didn't try it. The hotel restaurant is open buffet, I ate singing and sardines, very rich. The excellent coffee.
Out of season I don't know how it is.

Well located and with super friendly staff, however, the kitchen left something to be desired, dinner took about an hour and 30 minutes and the dishes had no presentation.
For the rest, the heated pool was great and lovely.

we spent an unpleasant week in an old hotel and very painful to get out because of the multitude of floors ,,, stairs, corridors and elevators to go to the beach ,,, the rooms are very small without charm the furniture is rickety and dirty ,,, total painting urgent ,,, the meals are not worthy of a 4-star ,,, especially the breakfasts ,,, lean and identical for 8 days ,, far from all, to AVOID ,,, (regret our holidays and our money ,, as trapped by the ads of the full wind brochure ,,, nothing around or far ,,,

Hotel with view and direct access to the beach. The view is good. As for the negative aspects of my room: old look, outdated and in need of works. Bathroom with little supply of hygiene items (take it from the house!), There are no sockets close to the bed, empty fridge, balcony with white plastic chairs from those bought in the supermarket (it made sense to be at least loungers, among the balcony and the view of the sea, we have a cane / brush without maintenance for years.Worked doors and doors, cable TV, and it is better to stay here because the text goes on long.The positive side is that it even has beautiful sites in some But I do not consider our room as being 4 star.

The electricity in my room failed a total of 3 times - the fuse is behind the cabinet door

Very old-fashioned rooms mainly from the toilet area, weak Wi-Fi network. In return care of both reception and restaurant as well as excellent housekeeping.

Very clean hotel. Nice location, friendly staff. The rooms are not up to date, decor in the years come. Breakfast buffet rather British, but adequate. Outdoor area maintained and clean. Were there in August and only to sleep in the room. Restaurant and most rooms have a sea view. To the beach just across the street. Will come again. But only in the summer.

Outdated hotel, uncomfortable rooms, confusing, restaurant with below expectations food, little friendliness on staff.

Home super warm, waiter super nice and smiling with cold cuts and cheese of thunder! We can cook its meat ourselves on a hot stone is the fire! Trooooop good, brave!

Ancient shed, only the sea view pays off and the balcony. Unfortunately, the summer camp for primary school children and kindergarten was just on the beach. About 400 children on the beach (beginning of July). So the beach was not usable. Breakfast was the simplest thing there is. Very little fruit. At most watermelon.

Hotel with excellent location, but I leave my displeasure:
We went to the reception, where we were well received, we made the entrance, without any problem, price within the norm for height.
My surprise was when I arrived at the room, a very old place, dark and cold bed without quality, bathroom not adequate, balcony with a very careless garden.
after evaluating the conditions for a 4 * Hotel I went to the reception to complain for solutions.

My surprise, response from the receptionist !! in case the conditions don't please you can cancel, without giving alternatives. We did it we went to the room we packed our bags and went to the reception I canceled the reservation and we left.

Anyway ....

Positive: the space where it is located, excellent location, easy access to the beach, good breakfast, swimming pool and surrounding space.
Negatives: lack of proactivity due to lack of staff, coordination with reservations with boking pessimas, noise at 8am on the part of the staff to clean the rooms as much as to drag tables and chairs.
For 4 star hotel with values of 140 per night I would not recommend.

The views from the hotel are spectacular, it takes literally 2 seconds to get to the beach and facilities like the pools are very good. The only thing is that you have to change elevators to get to some floors, there is not an elevator with all the floors but for some you have to go in one for others in another and change the floor to get to the elevator.
The rooms are decent and the food is fine.

Hotel needs update everything very old, swimming pool old , sauna not working,no hair dryer, although it was clean this hotel should not be a 4 star for me more like a 3, the staff ok.
