Very good hotel 30 meters from Piazza Duomo. Not enough except the fridge. And so clean, large toilet / bathroom, typical Italian breakfasts. Yes, you can pay for accommodation with a card, but tourist tax is only cash.

Well located however the vast majority of hotels are too.
Dark room with many mosquito nets, no possibility to open window.
No fridge, horrible entrance.
Would not go back and would not recommend it.
One more with a high note on Booking that is far from matching the reality.

Really bad service. Bed sheets are not cleaned a really closed place it's not a family place not even to hang out . Food it's really simple not at people's level. I'm really not happy with this hotel .

Hotel de Lanzi is perfectly situated in Firenze. My 3 friends and I stayed this past April and the staff was extremely courteous, accommodating and friendly! I hope to be staying with them again on my next trip out.

Extraordinary location, one block from the Duomo. Very close to the Vecchio bridge ... Two blocks from downtown. Good attention, it can improve. Price quality ratio is good. Very good breakfast Comfortable, no frills. Detail: internet is pay.

Great Hotel! We stayed for 5 days last year and will be there again in May of this year. The staff is polite, very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The best location!!!

Great location, clean hotel, the management let themselves down when we needed their assistance.

The location is perfect but the condition of the hotel is good and nothing more.

One day I was told it be paying a certain amount to have a few items laundered but was charged much more when I went to pick up my clothes. If you stay here, you can expect to be overcharged for everything!

Wonderful four days stay.hotel in the center.we had an internal (super heated) and quiet room ..

I stayed in the New Year period, very friendly and always available staff, room with a view of the cathedral and impeccable cleanliness. I was expecting a slightly more abundant breakfast. Negative note for the doors and windows of the room which, being old, do not close well and a lot of street noise enters. Very central and convenient location for visiting the city.

Clean rooms, perfect attitude, good location, one of the best places to take a gelato is In front of the hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent, however it is similar to a gallery being necessary to climb one floor to find the reception.The rooms are spacious but everything is very old. The staff are attentive and the cleaning is also good. The breakfast is reasonable.

I felt at home, the staff is all available and very kind, the rooms clean and the perfect location to reach any place in a short time. Absolutely recommended.

Hotel located just 30 meters from the Plaza del Duomo, which makes it a very interesting option to stay in Florence, the attention was excellent. The breakfast is acceptable. The rooms clean and the bathroom is big. The only thing we did not like very much is that it is a very old building.

Stay away from this place. Great staff but old neglected about everything. Great location but scary old and ugly. The pictures on the web must been taken 40 years ago. Is not dirty but old carpets, curtains, and the rest is too cheap. But they charge as a good one. NO STAR for this one.

Centrally located with respect to every attraction in Florence. From the windows you can almost touch Giotto's bell tower and the Cupola. The hotel is spotless and welcoming, well heated, the breakfast is buffet style, the staff is very kind and helpful. Prices are limited. Great.

It makes the position (full center) its strength. The room was clean and the bathroom very spacious. Equipment in line with the hotel classification. Breakfast buffet, too bad that coffee, cappuccino etc are not like at the bar but produced by machines for the user's use.

Marathon in Florence: we need a hotel in the center, near the start!
Reading the reviews this hotel had the best location, right in the center, but as far as everything else was concerned opinions were mixed.
OK ... booked hotel! The reception was not the best, old rooms and very arranged breakfast for the marathon runners reduced to historic lows, for the other guests instead abundant, according to them, but of low quality, moreover the staff welcomed us without even a good morning.
Icing on the cake there is a courtesy room and then after a thousand "please" they only left one of our rooms where we had a shower in eight paying a difference of 35,00 , also we had to leave it by 15, 00.Alla delivery of the key, however, the receptionist informed us that we would have to leave the room for 14.00 and that therefore we should still give other 40.00 ..... say that we will definitely return !!!

A nightmare. Room with old sovdepovskoy furniture, mosquitoes crowds fly. The hotel blocks the money on the card and requires cash to pay, and the money on the card is blocked for a month after the eviction. I have never seen such a meager breakfast .. bread and a slice of cheese.

If you expect a three star hotel, you are a bit misled. But it is brilliantly situated just near the dome, so it is a good choice for budget living in Florence. The breakfast is fair enough and the rooms are well cleaned. Could be recommended.

Location of the hotel truly enviable in the historic center of Florence. Hotel entrance from the ground floor uninviting and almost poorly placed. At the reception on the first floor we found very kind staff and they gave us a room with a spectacular view of Giotto's bell tower. Decent breakfast and adequate room for the three-star level. Good beds and clean bathrooms. Excellent price-quality ratio. I would stay there again.

Excellent area near the heart of Florence with views of the Cathedral. Friendly staff. Breakfast sufficient. It is clean but old (also smells like old) as the majority of the hotels in Florence. Difficult to approach with the car but the staff made it possible giving us directions. They also provide garage service (take your car from the hotel and deliver it back to you when you want). I recommend it.

As soon as you enter "it will be xi work in progress" dust everywhere .. polite staff ... within the room acceptable .. cleaning not the best .. in the evening we return to the room cold water .. we advise .. their answer we will solve it in a few minutes. . wait .. try again cold water then shower impossible to take it .. bad breakfast .. very little would be enough never again this hotel

Awful experience. Came here with a group of friends. Lady at the front desk was SO rude. Came up to my room and it smelled horrible-like a dead animal (funeral home). She refused to move me. Said that the hotel was full, that there was nothing else she could do & that no one has ever complained about a smell. Had to keep my windows open for my entire stay & hear the awful street noise. Breakfast was bad too. Just a few pastries, bread, cheese, and meat. Towels were never cleaned nor replaced for the entire stay. They did make the beds and clean up a bit which was nice. My friend almost threw up at breakfast after biting into a substance-filled croissant. Will never stay here again. So excited to leave.

Loud and stinks. Faeces smell comes through the air conditioner and our bathroom has no air vent. Like our room, many rooms are a noisy courtyard. Here is working from 8 clock and we hear through the simple glazing to the 3rd floor. The beating fire doors opened every morning from 7 o'clock

Excellent hotel! Florence is a more expensive city, but I was surprised by everything here! Warm water, excellent shower, friendly staff, everything clean and close to everything! It is right next to Florence's main cathedral, worth a jump at night in the hard rock cafe, for those who like it as it is next door.

Nice little hotel in the center with everything you would expect and need for a city break. Good price (70 per night for double room). Simple but OK breakfast included in the price.

Old Haus..nette Rezeptionisten ... clean ... old windows with milk glass, leaky, single pane, so you do not even see whether day or night. Unfortunately today I had to move to this room without a view. Even permanent ventilation noise is disturbing ... Thank God only 1 night ... there are certainly better hotels around 100Euro!
