Had my first honeymoon night stay at this hotel. It was so wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, we felt like we were sleeping on clouds. The showers and bath were just perfect, and the view was stunning!

Please do yourself a favor and stay there while in Telluride!

Spent $600 to sleep on a crooked pull out couch and get a half full glass of milk with breakfast.

The staff was nice, the hot tub was clean, location fine since you can hear and see what socks the people are wearing at the gondola.

Definitely don t expect privacy or silence, cause between the noise from the generators and the proximity to neighbors and other rooms, you won t get either.

My dog was happy, and that s all that matters. But I won t be staying here again, specially not for $600.

Love this place. In a town where expensive hotels are the norm, Hotel Columbia gives you much more for your money than you expect. The rooms aren't over the top but appointed nicely enough that you really feel you're getting your money's worth. The free breakfast is above and beyond what you expect and the access to the city and ski resort is more than adequate. Highly recommend this place.

Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly service and great free continental breakfast. Hotel Columbia is conveniently located across the street from the Gondola and other local restaurants and attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

Wow. What a great place!! Lodging in Telluride is challenging at best, and while there are a number of boutique or historic options available in town, if you look for honest and practical comfort, a smiling and proactive staff, and perfect location (literally, it could not be any better for a savvy and intelligent traveler) there is nothing better than the Columbia Hotel.

Seriously, from General Manager Rachel Loomis-Lee down to the housekeeping staff and window washers, every member of the Hotel Columbia troupe is top notch, and down-to-earth. Friendly, helpful, and engaging - these people are simply wonderful.

The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are extremely comfortable and elegant. If this is what you are seeking, you only have one place to look.

Hotel Columbia was great. We stayed here for our honeymoon and had a blast. We'd never been to Telluride before and wanted something centrally located to make everything walkable; Hotel Columbia fit the bill perfectly. The staff was great, the room was nice and good for our one rainy day in. Overall great experience!

Hotel Columbia wowed us from the moment we booked a room for our honeymoon, over the phone. Yes, we were lured by the rustic facade, cozy feel and convenient location across the street from Telluride's free Gondola. What truly won us over, however, was the service. This property raises the bar -- going beyond "great service" to provide genuine hospitality, which reflects the authentic, Old World charm of this city. Edward, Rico, Michael and everyone else on the staff were so warm and attentive, and made us feel like family. They also went above and beyond to provide assistance when our flight was delayed and our bagged was temporarily misplaced. Bonus points go toward the delectable "continental breakfast," which is more like a mini-gourmet buffet with freshly made pastries that make my mouth water just thinking about them. Hotel Columbia, we will definitely return someday!

Great location, outstanding staff, and sweet suite! We haven't been to Telluride before, and my husband spent a long time picking out a place to stay, and he did good. This place is across the street from the gondola, and has an outstanding restaurant, the Cosmo, that has been packed due to their crazy popular happy hour. Our quirky but comfortable suite has a tiny fridge, a fireplace, a cozy sitting area with a door to a tiny balcony, and two TVs. It's short on window space, and when it snows, the main window--a huge skylight--is covered, but there is still plenty of light and lots of lamps when the sun goes down. The room layout is spacious, and is equipped very up-to-date decor and almost everything you might want, from a Keurig-style coffee maker with two big ceramic mugs, a pair of wine glasses and a corkscrew, a humidifier to a couple of sticks of lip balm and 2 robes. The fireplace is gas, and only works part-time. Sometimes it is tricky to get it started, even though it's a simple "light" switch, and worse, it randomly stops as we are enjoying it. The bathroom is small but very nice, with a spacious shower, heated floor, and built-in heated towel racks! The bed is super comfortable and the bedding is awesome. What a fantastic littke place.

I ll round up from 4.5 to be nice. $30/day to park is a bit steep considering the price of the room - it should be included. The beds are way too soft if you typically like any kind of firm mattress. Otherwise the rooms and especially bathrooms are very spacious and luxurious. Love heated towel rack!

We stayed with family for 3 days in rooms 40&41. We had a totally wonderful time. The rooms were spacious with a mini-kitchen and loads of windows. The beds were large and comfortable. The weekday reception men went above and beyond. We will definitely return again and again. Thank you Columbia Hotel for an unforgettable time with family.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous. From the time of reservation through check in, happy hour and the nights the staff is super friendly. The food in Cosmo is amazing. Killer happy hour! The breakfast included in the morning is the real deal. Freshly baked breads, home made yogurt, hot coffee and the best view of the slopes possible. I am 100 yards from the gondola! My new home away from home.

This is a really nice hotel that definitely has a "taste of Telluride" vibe. The hotel staff is super friendly. After our first night, we had to pack up & move to another room because the heater was stuck in the on position. The 2nd room was nicer than the first, although we did find someone's leftover food in the refrigerator. Makes you wonder how clean the rest is? Some sort of concession in the total price would have been appreciated. Would stay here again.
