This place is an excellent place to stay. If I hadn't booked another place in Puerto Vallarta that didn't offer refunds, I would have stayed here for our entire two week trip. The suites are large and the kitchenette is a huge bonus. Being able to refrigerate food and cook your own breakfasts and lunches helps save money for incredible dinners nearby at Tony's Hideaway/La Choza. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great staff. Need anything, they will get it for you. Lots of fellow Canadians and a great time. Food in restaurant is very good. We fell in love with the resident dogs and cats. Dogs are very friendly and personable. Hugs to Duca, Momma and George. Aka.... Handsome, momma and Bruiser. All so sweet.
Thank you to the staff and fellow tourists for making our trip so much fun. And, the pooches. If you go (and you should) hugs and Lovins to the 4 legged kids out there. We will be back there next year. Very clean rooms and always up kept grounds. Can't wait to be back.

I love it, it has a homely atmosphere, it is very clean, the treatment is excellent
Food and drink accessible and good taste
And walking you cross the road and there you have an Iconic beach where the night of the Iguana was filmed
A good location allows you to visit the Botanical Garden 15 minutes away by car where you will find thousands of plants and many of them exotic

We loved our stay the only but what I would add is that there is no elevator and we were on the fourth floor but the guard very kindly helped us to upload our things, the super rich breakfast and the unbeatable pool we very much enjoyed the time there my family and I! Great to go with children the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Vallarta are very close

It is a very tasteful hotel. It has WiFi parking an American breakfast included you have to ask to include it at the time of booking. With a lot of greenery, the rooms are clean, large and with air conditioning and fans, cable tv, very good staff. It has a convenience store with everything you need as it is far from Vallarta about 25 minutes. It is a few steps from the zoo in Vallarta and ten minutes from the Eden restaurant, where you can practice zip-lining and mountain activities.

I love the location in the jungle, you can hear the living nature, you have to take into account that it is somewhat removed but it is worth it. At night you can see many fireflies. I think the rooms lack maintenance

Great price. This is a fantastic home base. Room is airy, everything is clean, lots of fruit at breakfast, staff and guests very courteous and friendly. Hop on one of the frequent buses out the door to the gorgeous botanic garden or to Boca de T. Hike or water taxi to Playa Anima for a wonderful beach day with amenities such as fresh oysters. Playa Gamela in the other direction is also great swimming.
Eat fresh caught lobster at Tony's Hideaway.

They had to change my room three times. In one, neither the telephone nor the television worked. In another the air conditioning was not working. And in another the frigobar did not work.

Think carefully if you're going. During my 25-day visit, many things went wrong. At first, the room lacked a refrigerator and a coffee maker. Obtained twice by request. Towels were requested for several days. There's always something in the restaurant like toast on several days, crabs a few times, wine very often running out, beer running out a couple of days. I tried to get in touch with those in charge, unsuccessful. There was a feeling that no one was interested in how the customers went. Great disappointment in otherwise wonderful Mismaloya and Puerto Vallarta.

Very good location, very close to the Mismaloya beach (5 minutes walking). The rooms are clean, comfortable, they have everything you need if you want to cook. The hotel has a pool and jacuzzi and the price-service ratio is excellent.

My experience in the place was not very good, the room that showed me on the Internet nothing to do with reality already arriving at the place, the spotlights were not served, there was a lot of humidity, very simple rooms and nothing comfortable, the bathroom was no longer useful It was covered, the kitchen was very dark and had a very bad lighting, for what they charge, they should improve their service of what they offer!

I give it 1 star because I can't leave it blank. If it could be given -10.

The jacuzzi is empty and dirty, it does not work.

On their website it says they have a heated pool, I must assume that by that they mean that it is heated to 5 degrees and that the water is ice cold (on their page they should specify the exact temperature at which it is heated to avoid suddenly entering and suffer pneumonia).

The bar is not in service, so if you want a drink, you must get it elsewhere.

Cleaning and cleaning the rooms leaves too much to be desired and is not done in a timely manner: the refrigerator's freezer has a thick layer of ice that obviously suggests that it has not been defrosted for several months.

Room cleaning is not done until after 6:30 pm. I do not know if it is because they have too many rooms to clean and few staff, which I doubt since few guests are observed in the place.

If you have the audacity to ask that cleaning be skipped now and that they only make you change your towels, they get upset and answer in a bad way that they go from "here to there."
When they finally get to clean up, they force you to go out and wait for them to finish while being eaten by mosquitoes. When you return, you realize that they omitted to leave you toilet paper, so you have to go and beg for a roll.
However, they do not omit to leave you an envelope that says:
TIPS
TIPS
WELCOME
WELCOME
THIS ROOM HAS BEEN PREPARED BY: JUANITA
I WILL BE AT YOUR ORDERS DURING YOUR STAY
THE ROOM WAS PREPARED BY
I'LL BE AT YOUR SERVICE DURING YOUR STAY

Likewise, on their website they indicate that the rooms have a coffee maker and a kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare the food you want in the comfort of it, but I do not know how this is possible since the stove does not work (for what at the moment of notifying it, they give you a small grill so that you can prepare "a great variety of dishes"). On the other hand, there is no such thing as the blissful coffee pot they mention, in addition to the fact that there are only a few dishes inside the cabinets: a couple of cups, a few extended plates, a refractory, a couple of soup plates (which we had to request for that we will be provided) with some cutlery, a couple of pans, a chopping board and what appears to be insect excrement, which I have no doubt that this is the case since the kitchen area is infested with ants.

It is also worth mentioning that if you decide to take a bath with lukewarm water, you run the risk of suffering extreme variations in temperature in the water while you shower. If you put the water warm or lukewarm, suddenly ice water begins to come out, later boiling and then icy, and so on.

Also on their website they specify to have a gym, computer rental, barbecues and a grocery store; of all this there is only the store, which leaves much to be desired due to its small assortment and variety of articles and groceries.

Its wi fi signal is terrible, you have to go all over the place trying to find it to connect. And when you finally get it, it comes and goes all the time. You never have a stable connection.

I emphasize that it is not a hotel on the beach, so if you want to spend a day by the sea, you must cross a busy road and walk 200 meters carrying all the necessary things to make your stay on the beach as pleasant possible.

I note that the only good thing about this place is that they accept you with your pets, paying an extra fee to your stay.

The Buffet Breakfast is a disaster, always the same and there is no variation. There was nothing for the Latin palate. Just coffee and toast! Pay Buffet for what they offer, a fraud !! At 10 there was no more fruit or eggs when breakfast is until 11am. I don't recommend it !!!!

The hotel is nice, it is simple but very clean and the cleaning staff has treated me very well today. The breakfast is DELICIOUS. I REALLY loved all the breakfasts. He wants to charge more and little attention and gives the impression that they are very full but when you are here this time it is not so, the truth is that the hotel is very far from the boardwalk and beach of the dead. As long as you don't have to do with the manager, everything goes well for you.

The attitude of the staff could be improved a lot, the facilities neglected (part of the kitchen hood falling and apart super oiled) the first day they did not provide us with towels in the room, they offered loan service of towels for the pool and / or sea. which they did not provide us as they did not have clean, the menu for breakfast is fine but the three days I was there the dish was quite overly salty, the television in the room did not turn on and we had to report it several times to be checked, in addition They allow people who are not staying at the hotel to enter the pool.

Very good place to spend with the family. It is a little removed from the center of Vallarta (13 min) and this has its advantages and disadvantages. The hotel is fine as is its facilities in general. Friendly staff and a very quiet place (Mismaloya).
