We could not travel due to the corona and there was no acceptable solution for both sides.
We couldn't cancel and the hotel didn't let us postpone the trip either.
We were told it was our bad luck, they needed the money regardless of whether we came or not.
I can understand that everyone is dependent on money in these difficult times, but we could have agreed and we would have come another time.
We would even have paid a premium but the hotel wasn't ready to.

Modern comfortable hotel within walking distance to public transport

Lovely and friendly place, very close to the metro to get the centre of Amsterdam in 1/2 stops but the nicest thing is drinking a glass of wine on the terrace at the top!

Been here for a conference. Nice hotel with a nice green courtyard. The hotel is close to Amsterdam Amstel station and can easily be reached on foot. The congress was great, good spaces and equipment. The only downside was the lack of good ventilation in the presentation rooms, it was quickly hot and stuffy. The windows could not stay open during the presentations because the screens would always move during the trip. All in all a great experience and I would definitely go there again.

Cool common area, efficient staff. Room is very plain, and small, barely have place to open a medium size suitcase.... the breakfast presentation was the worst I ve seen in my life though... due to covid they now bring you a tray of breakfast food. Literally a tray. Bread, cheese, and cold cuts are directly placed on the tray. Even McDonald s trays have proper paper inlays that cover the whole surface of the tray. Here, it looks pretty sad and borderline disturbing for me, personally. Perhaps it s a culture difference, but I truly think they could work a bit on that. Especially with the price, I think diners deserve to have proper plate to eat off their bread.

Nice and functional hotel, good location if you have business at the science park. Nice breakfast buffet.

Overall, the accommodations were pretty good and the staff was pleasant and attentive. My only complaint occurred on the day of check-out. When I arrived, I had purchased one of those round trip tickets for a shuttle to the airport and hotel. In the morning when I checked-out, I asked the person to make a shuttle reservation for me and she said it would be no problem. Unfortunately, when I came back later to double-check on things, another staff member told me that they had no record of a shuttle being booked and now it was too late, so I had to pay for a taxi to the airport. While the staff member was sympathetic, there was no willingness to help me out of the situation.

I can only recommend the Hotel Casa in Amsterdam. For a fair price you get everything you expect from a hotel. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are big enough (for Amsterdam standards) and clean. Unfortunately I can't judge the breakfast. Due to the relatively good connection to the center (4 stations by metro), the accommodation is also pretty well localized. Definitely worth a visit.

OUR EXPERIENCE was beautiful, we had a great time, amsterdam home and a very nice hotel, welcoming in the reception, 3 days in which we felt at home .... great bar for colation, two minutes from amstel station, with the metro 5 minutes in the central station, with tram 12 wherever you want .... large room, bright, clean, attentive in the change of bathroom in everything from small foam bath to another ... I highly recommend it, a hug I would like to send it to the guy who greeted us at reception who was talented in Italian and loves sicily raingo I don't remember the name but it starts with the R .... if someone reads us say hello ...... it's perfectooo, you they also refresh with a jug upon arrival of lemon and cucumber water ... OUR STAY in the beautiful amsterdam was unique and THANK YOU, CASA AMSTERDAM, for your PERFECTION I strongly recommend it ... kisses italy .....

Far from the center, reachable by public transport, but they are available until midnight.
Cost of high bicycles (18 euros), it is not possible to regulate the air conditioning in the room, the cleaning is done only on request, the room I had was noisy (the noise from the air conditioning motors h24), I would not recommend it to those who want to visit Amsterdam for a few days.

I lived in casa as a student for a year. I always liked it very much. Central location, nice rooms, nice people.

Overall, the hotel is good. Good location, nice, clean and modern rooms.
However, I can not recommend the breakfast. The price for this service is not justified. Furthermore, the bike rental is not recommended. Very uncomfortable seats, so that a comfortable driving is not possible. I expected something different for the price. The bell did not work either. This one needs but very often here in Amsterdam.
No reaction of the employees to address the defects.

Nice modern hotel with pleasant staff. In my room I had a great large bed. But didn't like construction of the "shower cabin". Water overflowed it's tiny tray and started flow out to the toilet.

Very clean, great staff and very convenient. It is close to Amstel station. It's restaurant was good with nice dishes, I wish they had kid's menu we had a bit of problem feeding our two year old. I highly recommend the place.

The rooms are frankly good, spacious, modern, well decorated ... And the staff is pleasant and willing to answer questions and queries.

The restaurant has a small but interesting selection of dishes, ideal for dining after a day's work visiting clients.

The experience is very good, the breakfast is also very good, it is more convenient from the subway station.

Amazing terrace (NEST) but rooms are not so good, especially the corner rooms which have a weird architecture. Breakfast spread is good as well.

We loved the Hotel Casa. Our room was clean and comfortable and the hotel is close enough to the centre to walk (longish walk) or a quick trip on the nearby metro.
I can't comment on the food as we ate elsewhere (the 15pp cost for breakfast seemed high).

We did love that the hotel runs as a sort of social enterprise, providing lower cost housing to to students at the nearby University.

We would stay again.

Reception is not nice there is no kindness for guests of the hotel i have stayed at the hotel for several days to end i would like to take back my money guarantee i had to wait 20 minutes !!!!!
Because the staff were more or less busy who have (what I noticed he wanted in a way to another not to make me I was too disappointed how the little woman made my warranty of 250 for 2 rooms )
In addition price of a room is 180 / night and not even a breakfast included? !!!!!

Central on the metro also trams regular to take you to AmstelStation.. hotel is located 5 minutes walk from here . Rooms clean and tidy . Beds slightly uncomfortable but I m fussy that way me and My mother both enjoyed our break and our stay here staff all very friendly and welcoming great job . Never tried breakfast etc although cakes looked good :)

The facilities are great and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have reception staff 24 hours a day, so you can check in any time, by prior arrangement. Everything is neat, clean and in good working order. The hotel is a little further from the city centre, making for a quiet stay. Public transport is amazing, plus they have their own bicycles to rent at a decent price, so the location is not an issue. As a bonus, many rooms in the hotel serve as student residence in the off season, an initiative which intrigued and amazed me. By far the best 3 star hotel I have ever stayed in.

The hotel is very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had mistaken the dates of my booking and still though the hotel was totally booked they installed another bed in the room of my friends so I did not have to look for another hotel.
The rooms are ok and clean and despite this place being a student friendly accommodation it was surprisingly quiet. The hotel is also located quite close to metro lines and and tram lines. I would recommend this place
