Superb property well managed, well maintained and staff is extremely available.

Very unattached a reception clerk today 02/01/2018, the Miss blonde with a cold, from 15:30 pm, cold water from the heated pool, 2 hours. of delay in chek in.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, but everything else needs improvement. In my case, I came to spend a couple of days relaxing in the spa, but it was not possible because the water was cold, and also half of the jets in the pool did not work. The hamman was also not available, and the sauna was off. As a positive point, at least there is a whirlpool in the room.

Incredible hotel on the cliff. Very nice. The staff is lovely.

We have stayed a total of 5 nights this July 2019 with half board and it has cost us about 870 through booking.

The good:

-The cleaning of the rooms. Towels, paper, gels and shampoo have been well replaced.
-The treatment from the waiters is close and cordial.
-The variety of food in the buffets, without being amazing, was not bad either.

The bad:
-The facilities are outdated. Most of the hotel's equipment looks to be 20 years old and could do with a renovation ... for example, the taps system in the rooms seems to be poorly connected to each other, and while showering, suddenly the water has started to run. come out boiling (literally), which has given me a burn on my back that still hurts. Not to mention the rust on the bathtub, how bad the TV channels are, that even a simple HDMI can't be connected to get Netflix ...
-It would be nice if at some point during the reservation they informed that drinks are not included in the half board.
-The spa is not a spa ... It is a pool with the water as cold as the outdoor one, and most of the jets do not work. The outdoor jacuzzi one day the jets did not work and the next day the water was also cold ...
-In the breakfast of the 5 days, the cereals were stale and softened ... if that happens one day nothing happens, but if it happens 5 days in a row ... it gives me to understand that they leave the same for each day and nobody looks that are in good condition.
-I can't relate it to 100% hotel food either, but I've had diarrhea for several days, something unusual.
-The beds ... with springs and very uncomfortable, one more sunken than the other, I have had back pain for several days and it is horrible to sleep.
-Finally, and almost more disappointing, is that I transmitted several of these complaints at reception and the only response was: well, thanks for the suggestion (although they were not suggestions, but complaints). Beyond that, no solutions or compensation to be more comfortable ...

Let's see ... I've been in worse hotels, but what half saves this is the location ... says little about the hotel management. It's more of a 3-star, not 4.
So it is unlikely that we will return.

Excellent location with spectacular views. But the best, without a doubt, is the staff that works in this hotel. Very attentive at reception, at the pool bar, at the breakfast buffet. Everything is great.

We just came over the weekend, and the truth is that very unhappy.
The hotel itself, very old but with its charm, .. at the reception some mistake that other and as for paid activities, ... fatal!
We did a decontracting massage with hot stones, and the truth is that very unprofessional, ... no ambience of SPA, or ambient music, or candles ... harmful for 50 worth every massage, which were two, and both my woman like me to leave we agree in all aspects.
And as for what they claim to be a SPA, it's a heated pool where there is no control whatsoever and they let small children in, screaming, out of control, ... so, what was going to be a weekend Relaxation and disconnection, has been a big disappointment, fatal!

Cozy hotel located in one of the most beautiful places on the Costa Brava

The hotel is very well located, has very good views. The decoration is somewhat outdated and overloaded, the room a little neglected. The spa was a total disappointment, as there were no employees attending the spa area and when we entered, the water was freezing. We could not even enter the water. The lack of the spa is compensated a bit since the room had a whirlpool tub. The room itself was a bit old, the springs beds separated, the old furniture, the TV only has 3-4 analog channels and the remote did not work well. The right bathroom and with the whirlpool tub. Buffet breakfast very varied and complete. Finally add that in our one night stay we were light in the room about 5 times and the bathtub could not stop and had to come a maintenance guy. Hotel staff quite attentive and friendly despite the mistakes.

Baroque style hotel with lots of charm. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is very complete. In the evening, the restaurant again offers a buffet, with different dishes every night and very good quality. Access to the SPA without surcout. Parking fee and very narrow in the garden of the hotel, it is not closed during the night!

Stay two nights via weekendesk. Large room for two. Very good bedding and big bed. Even if we did not look at it, so it did not bother us, the TV is very small. Small terrace (2 chairs, a table). Very nice view of the sea. Simplified access to the walkway by elevator from the hotel (allows access to a small beach nearby). Welcome aperitif offered (sangria / cava). Only problematic point: the parking, and we are in low season! Just thirty parking spaces!

Good value for money, the food is good, the breakfast very good, the location great. But it is neglected to be a four star.

Our experience has been very disappointing. The propaganda is thrilling, rooms are sold with views and the uniquun views are on the wall. The rooms make a modesty of humidity that can not be. But the worst of all is the SPA, a spa with a pool where the water apart from this dirty is frozen. The hot tub is stunned, dirty and smelly, the steam room I do not steam. The only one that worked was the sauna, but when you leave there is no shower. Before 12:00 noon there is no bar that works. All in all, they make the hotel a mess!

Then, for my experience at the hotel I only give you two stars that are the location and service and I explain why:

The location is unbeatable, simply spectacular. I leave some photos (the first ones) so that you can see them as it is worthwhile.

The service, very friendly both at reception and at breakfast and dinner time, the truth is that hotel staff leave their skin so that the experience is very good and that is what should be done recognize and thank.

The room in my case a disaster, that is, it does not seem like a room in a 4 star hotel. First they gave us the room number 58 and made noises that there was no way to sleep, then they changed us to 50 and we improved but when being next to the elevator, it made a lot of noise and we were not well in that sense. Apart from that, in the room there are details that are not checked such as rusty bathroom lights, water leaks in the shower, very old furniture etc ... I leave photos.

The breakfast is correct but there is always the same, that is to say, there is almost nothing. At dinner there is always meat in sauce, chips, some fish, not fresh from the Costa Brava if you do not know where. One night there was a perch, yes, a freshwater fish by the sea. Does anyone tell me? Of course, when you are buffet, the amounts are very good. Another detail is that if you want to have dinner at 9:00 pm you will run out of dessert and do not go back.
For these details, I do not give you the star of lunch.

The hotel's facilities are very much improved, the garden is very nice and very well maintained. The pool is also correct but the spa is a little let alone, the water of the very dirty Jacuzzi, so much so that we could not get in, the sauna did not work etc ... But that does not give me the star

Actually very good top food friendly staff especially in the restaurant Saib and Pablo and Mohammed and the whole top team really great. Only for bus drivers parking is a patience and a disaster only trouble parking with police and all because the hotel has no decent bus parking or on the A ...
