We stayed in a room on the marina side on a very nice day and it was the most relaxing time for me in a long time. It's just so beautiful. The hotel was very clean and staff was very courteous and accommodating. The only thing I didn't like was the pressure in the shower; unfortunately it was the worst I've ever experienced and I couldn't wash my hair because it simply would not rinse.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Rooms are very nice. Not a lot of food options though.

Nice atmosphere....Friendly staff, very accommodating and friendly. Enjoyed the live piano, they even played requests from the customers. Great deserts! Loved it!

Nice room and comfortable bed with a jetted tube that I was all over. Good views and the lounge was great. Only issue we had was that the restaurants in the area and hotel closed at 9:30. Other wise I would have gave a 5 star.

Excellent staff. Answered every question promptly and with respect. The Lighthouse Bar and Grill was fabulous. The lamb shank was absolutely perfectly prepared as well as my partners filet mignon. Adam was our waiter. A perfect, attentive, gentleman. Thank you very much.

My boyfriend and I went to the Hotel Bellwether for dinner. We had only ever been there for breakfast before and wanted to try their dinner menu. It was a very different feeling in the evening. Breakfast is delicious, but fairly casual with a mix of more upscale dishes and classics. I felt very comfortable in a sundress or nice jeans with my boyfriend and his son in shorts. Dinner us much more upscale and incredibly romantic. I probably would not bring a child for dinner, but I'm sure the staff would be accommodating if we did. We had oysters as an appetizer and I ordered a salad and the clams in broth and my boyfriend ordered the duck with sweet potato gnocchi. Everything was delicious for our romantic evening overlooking the water. There was even live music!

Great vein for a wedding or vacation depending what s needed at that time .

Lovely place, friendly people, good food. And a dog to greet you at many times. Basically, it's perfect.

Gorgeous views, gorgeous rooms, amazing staff! If you're looking for a modern hotel this is not it, but I love the classic old time look of this place and really hope to come back one day

Very nice hotel. Great customer service. Located very close to the ocean and the marina which provides a lot of beautiful views. There are a few nice walks nearby which makes staying at the hotel lot of fun. It IAS pretty friendly so we brought our dog with us and there were plenty of activities nearby for him to have fun as well. Definitely recommend this place.

They deserve 5 stars for their excellent customer service. The room was clean and exactly what we asked for. The food in the restaurant was good. Everyone we encountered was very professional. They offered a whale watching excursion as a part of our reservation. It was a great time, we only saw one whale but what can you do about it. It was still very enjoyable.

Good food and drink but limited menu.

Friendly, fantastic service. We were treated very pleasantly from the moment we called to check availability. The room was clean and well appointed, the restaurant was amazing as well. Will be making this a regular destination to return to with my wife.

We just had my husband's CELEBRATION OF LIFE at your hotel, tonight & it was a wonderful place to have this event. Thank you. The view was spectacular & it was one of my husband's favorite places to go for an elegant dinner.

We made a reservation online, then had to cancel over a month before our stay. We received email confirmation that it was cancelled and that there would be no charge. Of course, the hotel still charged us! Should have been a simple fix with just a phone call. Talking with the manager Kevin, was aggravating to say the least. His arrogant, condescending attitude was summed up with a dismissive "we'll see what we can do". So I forwarded him the email confirmation and am awaiting the credit to my account. All the posturing as an elegant establishment doesn't make up for an employee who I would fire immediately if he worked at my company and treated one of our clients the way he did. We will never stay at this hotel, and will be sure to share our bad customer service experience with others. Time for some remedial training!

On the water in Bellingham and can walk along a paved trail to Latitude restaurant. Room was cozy and comfortable with large bathroom. Our pilot light was out on our fireplace and they were in the room within minutes to fix it. Very friendly staff.

Elizabeth was able to fabulously put together a belated company dinner party. Lizzie, Andrew, and Kevin took such amazing care of us. Highly recommend! Food was fabulous,too. Caesar, chicken marsala, steak, potatoes, and asparagus. Everyone had a great time. Highly recommend!

The location of the Bellwether is gorgeous, looking out onto Bellingham Bay. There is ample parking in lots surrounding and underneath the hotel. The staff is friendly, and will do all they can to make sure your visit is relaxing and fun. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The Lighthouse Grill within the hotel has a superb food, and the service is good.

Drinks at the bar were good, but understandably pricey. Would recommend to professionals visiting the area.

Wished we had more than 1 night. Looking forward to coming up again. Really appreciate they are pet friendly and the accommodations are beautiful!

Stayed in the light house it had amazing views and the room was spacious and very comfortable.

The wedding we went to was top notch. Staff were very friendly and polite. The venue was elegant and clean. Overall was a very nice experience there.

Outstanding chef, beautiful views, romantic setting and jazz (occasionally). Any two of these would be wonderful; but four? This is the grand slam.

Didn't stay at the hotel, but took a walk around the Zuanich park and the hotel grounds via the waterfront path. The hotel looks beautiful and I've heard great things about it and its service. Incredible views of the bay from the hotel itself, and very close to the downtown area.

Go just for happy hour or stay and relax in comfort.

Wonderful night away and dinner at the restaurant was fantastic.

Went here for the mother's day brunch and the atmosphere is nice. The wait staff was friendly when we checked in and told us they were running just a bit behind on reservations but get us in as soon as a table came available. We were seated only about 10 min after our reservation time but the quality of the food was well worth the wait. There was also nice views of the water from the table we were seated at as well.

We had such a wonderful stay! Rooms were beautiful, views were amazing and restaurant had good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Our dog loved the hotel too!

Just played Pokemon go around the hotel. It's pretty nice because there's a couple high end restaurants in walking distance and a sushi place. There's a big public path along the water too.

Was there for a conference. Great meeting room. Great location. Beautiful views.

This place is fancy. I went there for a leadership forum and it was really nice. Right on the Bellingham Bay so there were nice views.

Love coming here to listen to Jazz! Atmosphere is great! Delicious happy hour menu. Pulled pork was great!

Erin the receptionist was very attentive and address request in a very timely fashion. The room was amazing!

If you're looking for a dog-friendly hotel on the water, this is the place for you. The rooms are lovely, and the staff is very helpful. Not only did they bring up extra bedding upon request, they also slid every guest a reminder about daylight savings the next day, and a fun daily update on the happenings in Bellingham.

We were there for a special event. The staff were friendly and excellent, and the food was amazing for the catered event. Beer is reasonably priced, but soft drinks are way overpriced for what you get ($3 for less than a can of pop). Overall great venue for special events.

Far too expensive for the food quality. Service was on the verge of overbearing, server insisted on pushing expensive alcoholic drinks.

We loved our stay at the bellwether! We were celebrating our one year anniversary and the hotel and accommodations we're very nice. We loved our room (fireplace, very open, jetted tub) and we were very happy with the location. I would definitely recommend this hotel for special occasions:)

The staff was extremely helpful and the grounds were immaculate.

Attended a wedding there. Most of the staff was nice and helpful. I forgot my expensive sunglasses there after the wedding and the clean up crew supposedly did not find them less than 12 hours after the event

The room was quite large. It has a little balcony with chairs to sit and enjoy the view. Service was friendly and accomodating. The interior is starting to feel a bit dated. Our fireplace wasn't working and they couldn't fix it so they discounted the room 25%. The "jetted tub" is actually just a tub that spits out air bubbles. It is very large though and comfortable for 2 people. It feels like the place is kinda going down hill. On a positive note the bar was fun and had some great live music and a working fireplace! And the parking is free. For a $300plus room you can do better...

Absolutely beautiful hotel with an extremely helpful and accommodating staff. While it is a bit pricey i think you get what you pay for. The room was very clean and had a balcony overlooking the park and Bellingham Bay. Definitely recommend to anyone that likes staying in the lap of luxury. Started there for the night of my wedding and would stay there again

A class act,beautiful location,nice appointments and comfortable too. I met friends there we had drinks and munchies it was easy, homey, felt good. Check it out, new experience are necessary to grow right!
