What a great theater with a wonderful theater pipe...
What a great theater with a wonderful theater pipe organ!
What a great theater with a wonderful theater pipe organ!
Saw Yanni there and the acoustics there are great. The theater ceilings are in need of repair. The prices at the bar and counter are crazy expensive for what you get.
It was a great experience and every little detail was perfect. I recommend going to a show
Went to see Shen Yun. The show was great and the theatre is beautiful. Every seat has a clear view of the stage and the sound is balanced.
It's not the best theatre, but it's the only option in town.
Season Pass was an amazing investment! Thrilled to be in on something like this!
Concert was great, seat up on the loge area we're pretty tight!
It is a beautiful old theater. I saw Hamilton. Fabulous! Limited restrooms for women.
Seeing shows or as a preformer never had a bad experience there always have good seats
Beautiful auditorium, you should check out the monthly organ concerts on the fabulous Wurlitzer Organ!
This theater gets alot of good acts and has many good seats. Parking can be a pain getting in and out and lacking legroom in many seats but being a smaller theater even the "bad seats" are pretty good. If you want a way to see great shows locally then check it out.We have watched numerous shows here and not had a bad experience yet.
Love it here, but the seating is still made for people of another century. I'm 5'10" and I have to fold myself up to sit and watch a show not very comfortable for sure.
Everyone so helpful. Great venue for the concert. Gorgeous architecture!
Amazing shows in a very nice theatre. I look forward to seeing more shows of great quality here in the future!
This place has great seating I loved the building and architecture design
The Lion King was amazing! African harmonies and drums and the costumes! Wow!
Not a bad seat in the house! The bathroom situation really needs some work though. Try and sneak in before the show and hold it until you get home. The lines during intermissions are insane and very unorganized! I've seen mom's with young kids in a panic because they didn't think their kid would be able to hold it while they wait in line.
Wife and I went to Shen Yun this weekend! We went for cheap seats which were in the balcony area. View was pretty good even though we were up high. Seats were comfortable. Acoustics were good. Bathrooms were gross and had to wait for a long time during intermission. Bar set up on the ground floor did not have enough room between the stairs and bar so it was super crowded and hard to walk through. Very poor set up. Enjoyed the performance a lot but the theater needs a makeover and better use and planning of space. Security was surprising w metal detectors and guards. Apparently, they are not supporters of the 2nd amendment even though the theater is located in a high crime ghetto area and people routinely get robbed. No info on their website about any restrictions. Parking was $8 which wasn't to bad and easy to access the building.
Wish Rochester would get a better venue so we can have a more updated and better experience. Hamilton however was amazing!
Old theater with great style and shows. Stairs getting a little hard to handle really needs an elevator. But still love going here. Parking is just ok.
An American in Paris was wonderful. The dancing was amazing.
Nice place but not as intimate as a smaller theater. Parking can be tough too.
My wife and I had a great time at the theatre. The staff manages everything well and get people to their seats quickly. They also have a bar. The shows that come are also top notch.
Watched Les Miserables. Great sound and atmosphere. There was alot of parking
We saw The Little Mermaid. What a spectacular show and a beautiful theater.
Looks really cool inside, I didn't explore or see anything except the seating area.
Great theatre. Excellent seating. Seats are on the small size. Not made for large people.
Loved our seats. Bathrooms need to be a little bit bigger for the women.
Not huge but still great acoustics and usually a decent selection of food and drink!
It's a bad picture, but the auditorium theater, and the simon and Garfunkel story was excellent
Awesome venue, friendly staff and great performance.
Me and my wife seen Sebastian Manasalco... Place was nice.. seats were great and the show was awesome
Awesome...went to see Lion king...great performance..and the theater was. great handling everything...great experience...highly recommend...
Always love the performances here and the classic elegance of the theater.
Jesus Christ Super Star was an awesome performance!! I enjoyed the changes that were made to "update" it. I've enjoyed the music and the way Jesus' story is told in this manner since I was about 11 years old.
THANK YOU RBTL for bringing this tour to Rochester!!
I love the different musicals and plays that are performed here.
Great old theater. Very serious about keeping outside food and drink out of theater during a show.
Beautiful theater. Gorgeous place to spend time indoors enjoying theater and the arts. The auditorium is sizeable. The balcony has a good view and the second floor is nice. There are tables to sit at, outside of the balcony space on the second floor. The carpet is a nice color with pretty designs on it. The architecture inside and out transports you to another time.
I loved it very much! I watched the show, Hamilton! It was a fantastic show. Multiple people were there. This show is famous this year!
Came to see a comedy and magic show. Was not disappointed in the least. Amazing venue!
Great line up of shows. HAMILTON was great!. Refreshments-wine, beer, candy and cookies, Limited parking on site but $5 and $10 parking at many lots next to and easy walk nearby (we parked at Memorial Art Gallery and walked! FREE- great dinner at The Brown Hound Downtown in the Gallery!) Tickets thru box office or Ticketmaster only! Beautiful Theater! Photo taken from Row G, seats 6 & 8. ENJOY!
Nice place. I've attended a variety of events there. My biggest issue is with the seats. They are super small and crammed together. There's practically no leg room. If you're a tall person, purchase a seat at the end of an isle. Other than that, beautiful auditorium.
Beautiful setting, good acoustics, top - notch bookings
The shows and staff are wonderful. No fault of the staff or venue, but when season ticket holders push past to get to their seats, even though there is plenty of time, it's annoying. I am also a season ticket holder and I also know where my seat is. I don't find it necessary to literally push others out of the way to get to my seat.
Very beautiful and historic theater. Because it is old the seats tend to be small for the size of folks these days. The sound system is very good. No problem hearing all of the music and actors. Our seats were toward the back on the main floor, but the sight lines are good.
One problem is the staff. I understand that many of the ushers are volunteers, but they are generally confused. Not usually helpful. They are generally nice though.
This is the only place to go for touring shows and the RBTL does bring in a nice variety for Rochester. For that reason i will be back as I have been many times.
Omg pretzels and libations for my Canadian friend? Bottled water for me? Pizza with pizzaz and snacks that knocked my socks off! This venue has the friendliest staff, a sound that is spot on, for music afficiandos like me. I was impressed. I'm from the Buffalo region ; with plenty of excellent venues, like Sheas Performing Arts Center. This venue is right up there! For quality of sound, and great house service, my Gov't Mule show( Nov.2016) was spot on. I hope you, get to experience this gem for yourself.
Saw the Coasters, the Platters and the Drifters. All were great , but the Drifters win the prize!!
It was a beautiful venue. The parking prices were reasonable nearby.
We love this place. A great atmosphere for broadway productions and live music! Fantastic asset to our community.
