DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! WHY?

Summary:
Poorly built hotel (if you do decide to stay here and risk your safety, just pay attention to the shady construction) that does not care about its guests!

Details:
First night, the hotel's roof pool sprung a leak, flooded an entire wing of the hotel, and left our room, 2 floors right below the pool, with 2 inches of water. Outside our room, there was literally a waterfall! Oh, and this happened at about 11pm and the front desk assured guests that everything was just fine... After rescuing our luggage and getting a free shower of pool chemicals, the front desk finally changed our room (and only because I insisted that the flooded wing was not safe - more on this later).

The next day, we had to change rooms again as we needed two beds and the temporary room only had one. This room was back in the flooded wing of the hotel (now dry).

Upon leaving the room the next morning, a metal plate of about 15lbs separated from the ceiling and fell on my head! Ouch! Why did this happen? Gee, maybe because the water caused damage to the drywall and ceiling supports!

Finally, the hotel director only added to the this awful experience by expecting us to pay for half the stay! Unreal! And the executive controller of the hotel, Joan Garcia, did not even bother responding to my email regarding this situation.

Avoid unless you do not value your safety!

Absolutely top hotel 2 rooftop pools with bars , a lovely 15 min cycle in to the center

It used to be designer rooms, unfortunately the best years are long behind them. All glass covers have chipped corners and edges.
Air conditioning triggered a short circuit. Hotel was unable to solve the problem in 4 days.
The "infinity" pool is about 1.5x5m and the water stinks. The edge of the pool is black with dirt.
The elevators are chronically overloaded. 15 minutes are not uncommon to leave the hotel.

The AC Hotel across the street is worlds better

The attention excellent expetaculares views the rest very good the great breakfast we will repeat

I've stayed here twice on visits to Barcelona. It's a great hotel with good views, not far from the beach and restaurants. Very close to a metro station to get you into town.

Magnificent hotel 4 stars for the noise in the rooms. Everything is heard.

Gentle staff, sustainable hotel and very good location

I liked it a lot and the very nice area also for a walk and visit the museu blau or the Diagonal Mar shopping center

Establishment top! The only downside is that in individual rooms it is impossible to open the window. It's air conditioning point bar.

Beautiful hotel, minibar included, swimming pools, located steps from the beach and shopping. The values are a bit high, but great hotel

Our shower was broke to the point that it cut my hand when trying to use it and after making the hotel aware of this on the first evening we were not moved until third evening of our 4 day trip! The key cards never worked you will spend all your time going up and an down lift asking for a new card. We were definetly not the only ones having this problem as every time we visited the counter somebody else was complaining about it. To only be blamed that about how we storing the cards regardless of how many times we told them we hadn't had it next to our phone Very frustrating and overall had a negative effect on our trip

Convenient hotel close to metro and tram way. Connected very well.
Taxis always available outside the hotel.
Although out of the center for those who love walking it is a perfect place with 45 minutes being at the Sagrada Familia.
The metro is 100 kg from the hotel.
Hotel with a fantastic view my room on the 21st floor overlooks the sea.

The hotel is a bit dated and is lost in detail. Though courteous service.

This is a well-located hotel to attend events at the Barcelona Conferente Centre. I was not impressed by the fact that the hotel did not provide an iron and board--just the service for a charge; nor a coffe maker or tea maker--but you can get hot water for 2.70 a cup. The included breakfast was nice though with a fair amount of options from fruit to hot dishes and sweets.

Very rude staff especially the manager who doesn't care about her clients' issues, we left with something less worth over $ 100, so where did it go? Pools too small, rooms a bit dated for a hotel at this price.
I do not recommend this Hotel.

A hotel in very bad condition from the outside seems a good hotel just enter and see the lack of customer service arrived by taxi with three suitcases and the man from the door or moved help enter the hotel when we arrived at reception tells us if they want help with the suitcase already at this height I do not need it. The staff at the normal reception. The rooms have details for wear equal to the hallways, the dirty elevator. The service to the rooms is a disaster we asked for some extra pillows and it was for the taste almost two days to bring them the breakfast is not worth asking for eggs in another style they want to charge you. Here the truth that there is nothing coordination the only good thing of the hotel location for me more nothing. There are better hotels nearby.

Check in took longer, the staff had to chat among themselves
The room smelled like litter box after my complaint (allegedly some pipe was blocked) we were not offered to change the room
And the disgusting penetrating smell has remained
In the evening and the shower head broke just fell apart from the hose
Fortunately, the caretaker came within 10 minutes
The toilet was not cleaned for 2 days and there was only 1 roll of toilet paper available for four days

The breakfast was okay but not really special or variety

The pool service (male) very inattentive ...

In the end I have an invoice that is around 50 more expensive than agreed

For a 4 star, I think that's real
Inadequate

While I was here just for one night my rooms was less then comfortable . The air conditioning would not work, bed literally on wheels slid across the floor anytime you moved and also had one large pillow rather then, you know a normal set up.

Overall not a pleasant nights sleep. Can't offer more insight into the hotel grounds as I didn't explore.

One of the best hotels I have visited. Very well decorated, two pools one of them infinite on the top floor. The cafeteria and restaurant staff are very friendly and professional. An impeccable cleaning. In a very quiet area with spectacular views. If I have to put something that I did not like, it is that the windows of the rooms cannot be opened, when I asked they told me that it is for safety. It is something unusual, so you can not sleep at night with the window open must be with the air conditioning

Great hotel rather well located near a tram station and bus. The rooms are really top with bonus each day the mini bar filled gracefully, toothbrush, slipper soap etc offered. The bedding is good and everything is clean. Beware no air conditioning in winter and the cleaning lady puts the heating at 25 and no aeration ... I highly recommend

Hotel too expensive for what it offers, too many negative points for the price, no double glazing, noise all the time, a little tasteless, everything is industrial, even Ibis is better, a neighborhood not at all secure, beggars and drug addicts every corner, they are installed even in front of the hotel, the staff is very unfriendly, the only person I met was nice Chilean. For example, they go so far check at the entrance if you bring a bottle of water into the hotel ... forbidden, you must buy your water at the hotel! In short, go elsewhere, for this price we find much better in Barcelona!

Modern hotel with all comforts in an area not central but perfectly connected by efficient public transport and in excellent condition.

Very good hotel. Location a little further from the city center, but with super easy access via metro, tram, bus ... Large and comfortable rooms. Room layout / bathroom somewhat private. It may not be the best option to share with a co-worker. Swimming pool on the 23rd floor, overlooking the sea. Breakfast very varied and yummy. Room service was positively surprised by the agility and flavor of the dishes.

The place is great along with the location. The hotel is located next to the shopping gallery. Only the decor is scrupulous and I left 1 star for that

Single double bed room on the 15th floor with magnificent sea view, fridge stocked with drinks, room always clean, impeccable service, I loved my stay in this hotel, moreover it is very well located, not far from the Sagrada Familia

Great hotel with friendly, multilingual staff (English, German, French ..)

Room clean and with a great view, but a few improvements / renovations are probably necessary in the future - the bathroom is almost always half flooded when showering, so the joints and the silicone are partially darkened.

The hotel is a bit out of town, but mainly because of that it was perfect for us. Away from the hustle and bustle and the crowds and the beach next to it (about 10 minutes), large shopping center with a variety of food options right next to it.
Forum underground station about 5 minutes away.
We all went on foot. Approx. 1 hour walk to the Sagrada Familia.
Theoretically the street in front of the hotel always straight ahead, you can watch parrots on the palm trees.


RECOMMENDED CONNECTION!

Breakfast buffet very good and varied.
Everything split up a bit, that's why it's going well.
Waffles, crepes, salami, ... everything your heart desires.
Pastries available, but as is typical in Spain, almost only white bread

We didn't have to wait at the elevator, so with all the movements I was concerned about it.
Once in the evening 2 minutes was the longest, although the hotel was very busy.
If you drive to a city that is already overcrowded in midsummer, you are to blame if you have to wait for the elevator in a 26th (!!) story building. Stairs are opposite.

Very great view over the city.

All in all a great hotel in a great area.

Very nice hotel with a large beach nearby. Also the bar and restaurant are great. Unfortunately, only three elevators are available, which are completely overloaded. We waited partly 5 minutes for the elevator.

Amazing experience! Fantastic hotel, beautiful views from the room, brilliant staff including the housekeeping who kept our room feeling fresh and clean throughout, very friendly atmosphere, will come back again

Loved my stay here. Great service and friendly staff, regular housekeeping. The views from the pool on the 23rd floor are great and the spa is amazing. Ideally located next to the conference center, very convenient! Really enjoyed the whole experience.

Lovely place. Incredible view, even in the elevator. Nice rooms with good air. Nice staff. Nice breakfast (unfortunately not outside). Ironing express is available, but it has its price. It should be possible to do it by yourself. Unfortunately rooftop pool was not open but there was another one, very small with nice bar for food and drinks (view is not that nice). On this floor is also the sauna. It takes about 10 min to walk to the beach. Metro station in the near, 3 min to walk. Best price/performance ratio in this category. Keep it up!

They are cancelled my reservation without rausoin. I call for keep my reservation and they don't want ! That completely crazy hotel for 4 stars !!!

Nice hotel, well placed near the exhibition center.

The quality of the rooms seemed to not live up to a four star. Otherwise a hotel of the lot.

I stayed a couple of nights and there was a lot of noise at night like high heels, water leaks from the bathtub, we warned and they just told us to put towels, not to mention the cleaning service, it is very Vulgar and leaves a lot to be desired. ..for that, more than anything, I do not think I'll come back

Stunning views from the 24th floor across Barcelona, which on it's own is worth 5 stars.

Hotel noisy and a little outdated for my taste. For the business it's enough and the view of the room is fantastic.

A hotel that is worth its stars. Good location near metro and bus, and also a shopping center with several shops and restaurants. The reception staff are very friendly. Attention to details from the cleaning staff. Sea views Breakfast varied. 2 pools on the 3rd floor and 23 on a 26-story hotel on Avenida Diagonal. Amazing views towards the sea from the infinity pool on the 23rd floor. I was impressed with the treatment received. I would surely return.

Elevator was a nightmare, sometimes i had to wait 10 mn for it.
