This is an excellent and prestigious hotel in an equal location

Great hotel in the heart of Moscow. Really professional and friendly staff, ready to help with anything. E.g. I needed to leavey luggage for the day when I was checking out and some of the stuff was perishable - they kept it in the fridge for me and were of great help.
Nice spacious rooms too, room 304 has view on the Moskva River and Kremlin!

Hotel which gathered to be hotel of top spot of Moscow sightseeing. Across the Mosque River, Vasily's Cathedral and Red Square, the Kremlin on the left were very close to the morning walk and were great.

This is defintley 1 of the best hotels off moscow.all of the staff is super friendly they all speak perfectly good english and they will all make sure you have an amazing stay.the breakfast is also amazing.the concierge will give you all the tourist information you need and more. Bar at.the lobby also amazing.

A quality abode and oh so close to the Kremlin and Red Square.

Hotel top. Best location in Moscow.
Reception when booking GHA points extremely dodgy. Ultimately, that could only be done through the headquarters and then only after weeks.

Good hotel, large and very bright rooms. Something dry staff, are not characterized by the vocation of service, except at breakfast they served quite well. The crepes very rich and they prepare them at the moment. The slow and little polite check. The pool is good but one day there is fuss about the children. For the level that the bathrooms have are small, at least ours was.

I was at a wonderful event, had a wonderful time! The waiters are not all Russian, the kitchen is a bit weird.

Pathos place for rich people in the center of Moscow with a view of the Kremlin. External luxury is, of course, but the usual interior is a scoop with service personnel from Central Asia. Not impressed ... For the same money you can have a lot better.

Depressing service. The hotel website has information about Afternoon tea, guests are invited to an exquisite tea ceremony. We called for a day, ordered a tea party. On the same day, in the evening, they called us again, clarified the details, confirmed the order, and said that they would wait for us. The next morning, the day when we were going to come for a tea party, the manager called us and said that they hadn t served Afternoon tea for a long time! Why do you have this information on your website, why do you accept reservations, call back and confirm the order? How is this possible in a hotel of this level? And why did you not offer any compensation for such a service? Shame on you.

The location and facilities are great, but the service needs to be improved. The service does not meet 5star hotel service level.
The staff wasn't polite nor friendly, not in the reception nor breakfast staff nor doorman nor security. Just as simple thing as greeting and a smile would make the difference.
Breakfast manager without any explanation tried to make me sign the form which says that I accept to charged with second breakfast (my husband's breakfast, which was included into our room rate and paid beforehand). When I told her that it is paid already, she checked in other system and confirmed it. But there was no apologies about this confusion, not even a smile. I wonder how many ppl got into the trouble by signing the form without asking.
The breakfast variety was great, but many things finished and took some time for the staff to bring more. Our table was full of dirty dishes and seemed that the staff wasn't interested in cleaning them out. The eggs Benedict were overcooked.

Overall we felt really unwelcomed to stay there. Would not stay there next time.

Elegant in a bit old-fashioned way, it was meant as positive. In addition, great breakfast.

Quality hotel with spacious rooms and very good service. It's worth to ask for it with views of the Red Square and the river, although it has to be paid a bit more. The situation is great since less than 10 minutes walking you are in the center and a recreation area where there are many restaurants and entertainment. It also has a spa with an indoor pool which, after an activity day, is worth a visit. I highly recommend it.

A very good quality hotel in every way, the staff is very friendly. Its location a short distance from the red square makes it an excellent lesson in accommodation.

Beautiful hotel, a true 5 star but without the service of a palace. The rooms are large and bright. Especially ask for a room with a view of the Kremlin, this is the main asset of the hotel. In addition it is 800m from the red square, 5-10mn walk, just cross the bridge you arrive in front of Saint Basile, the red square is just behind. It allows you to take a break in the evening for the illuminations or in the morning to visit the mausoleum of Lenine. The room with a view of the Kremlin costs a small charge per night. Also ask for a room with modern decor if it matters to you, some are in a style ... a little retro.

Baltschug is Baltschug !!! This is in general. And so everything is at the highest level, the hotel is excellent, the rooms are worth the fact that in the price list, a restaurant with excellent dishes and unobtrusive waiters.

A great hotel and a perfect location in the city centre. Awsome view! There was some construction work going on in the lobby but it did not disturb us. The rooms were great and the breakfast and the restaurant were excellent. The fitness area was nothing special though. Certainly recommend but can get very costy!

Great hotel, fantastic location and very good service. Just one key reason why I can't give this hotel 5*, the inability for the hot water to be constant. Investing in thermostatic shower is critical. Also, don't tell your guests that they have a nice view if it's not the case ;)

Great location close to the Red Sqaure and Kremlin. The hotel itself is a bit dated though.

It is located in the center of Moscow, just a 5-minute walk from Red Square and the Kremlin. But only some rooms with this view, my room was facing the ballroom on the floor, unfortunately. The rooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are likewise spacious and clean. Lonely hotel a little too historic; ie decoration and technology as a bit old.

Service to make your skin crawl! First of all, we had requested an early check in before leaving. And they didn't give it to us.
We had dinner in the room, they had missed a dish, they brought it back to us after 40 minutes.
And finally, they asked us for the hotel money that we had already paid with the relevant receipt, and after several discussions they even threw the papers in my face.
Rude without respect for the customer.
The only good thing is the cleanliness of the room.
