Nice place. I would stay again and recommend it. Staff is friendly and approachable. The hotel is in the centre and close to a hippy aria with nice restaurants and shops.
Beautiful 5 star hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Net years eve party was amazing.
Great location, hotel itself is fine but nothing special
Unbeatable location and a very nice, large deluxe room. Unfortunately a lot of other things need improvement. Cleaning staff needs to use vacuum cleaner more often. Breakfast area needs major refurbishment and space allocation: it's very cramped, hectic and the many small tables cramped into one smallish room result in a very poor ambience. Good choice of dishes and some skilled cooking have no chance to blossom on the even smaller, cramped display area. The pool is too brightly lit and the water in winter could be 2 degrees warmer. Very helpful and competent check- in staff and concierge! However 12 Eur for a tea and 24 Eur for two cups of mulled wine is jyst plain ridiculous. And on top of this the cups were hot, but the wine was luke-warm....
Well, historically, of course, but a little expensive!
I have stayed in Baltschug Kempinski twice and both times I've got a spectacular view to the Kremlin. Absolutely perfect service and delicious breakfast buffet!
Its very clean with very welcoming workers .
It has class .
Nice hotel ... obviously not a true Italian 5-star hotel, they will certainly have a different classification to ours.
Normal breakfast, I have had better international breakfasts.
BAD staff. Grumpy curmudgeons, no smiles even upon arrival. We ordered dinner in the room and we got a wrong course, the right one they brought it to us after an hour, I would say that a 5-star hotel doesn't behave like this plus they asked us for money because they had a problem with the intermediary agency even though we had the payment receipt voucher. The problem wasn't ours and they wanted the money again! ABSOLUTELY BAD ... first rule DO NOT REFER TO THE CUSTOMER !!!! At the service of the staff do 0.
I would say that all in all I would not go back
A hotel that shames its brand and location. Guys, it's time to do repairs !!!
I have been a very loyal guest of this hotel, as I stayed here many times over a few years time. However unfortunately I have seen the customer service getting worse and worse, not even close to a 3 star hotel, not even saying 5. The team lacks totally management skills and how to provide good customer support to develop loyal guests. As Moscow offers many great options for similar or lower prices, I would recommend you find another hotel which might be much better and provide good customer service.
Great location. Close to most of the tourist attractions. Excellent service and hospitality.
Good hotel location, good restaurants, friendly staff.
We really liked the hotel everything is perfect ,enjoyed our time there but I just have a comment the ladies who serves coffe in the lobby are rude not welcoming , when we need to order we have to go to the coffe bar and order they make themselves not seeing us.
Super hotel, beautiful view of the Kremlin and the Cathedral
Hotel with fitness, spa and pool, great for executives as well as family.
EXCELLENT. Very enjoyable stay at this Beautiful Old Hotel. Staff helpful and friendly . First Class views of Red Square and famous historical buildings. Highly recommended
Close to Red Square, the room is quite big, breakfast is good
A good place to host and attend conferences in terms of location and the very quality of the hotel. Sincere friendly staff, the rooms are decorated in a classic style and everything is very neat, clean and well-kept. Good breakfasts in the European and Russian spirit, whatever you want .. for every taste and age.
Not intrusive staff, everything is organized for 5 stars.
Business meetings are also held in the lobby.
This is a very nice hotel with a great location. However, if you plan to travel by metro, you have to walk about 10 minutes to the nearest station. The breakfast is great. The rooms are very nice and modern, but they are not sound proofed enough. You can hear noice from the hallway and the neighbouring rooms, so if you stay next to people that like to stay up late, you will hear them. Even with quiet neighbours, you hear the traffic at all hours from the busy road outside.
Luxury hotel. Suites with a view on the red square are magnificent.
I can't understand how such a great hotel has such bad food.
The view from the room was excellent, the room was spacious, everyone at the reception was very friendly.
But the food is just awful. Expensive and tasteless.
Everything seemed excellent to me: location, hotel services, personal attention and condition of the rooms.
Very nice hotel with amazing services. It is less than 10 mins walking from the Red Square. However, it is very expensive!
The hotel located in a fabulous place, the breakfast is amazing, and you can enjoy the Kremlin palace view while you are having your dinner at the lobby restaurant.
Excellent location in front of the Kremlin. Efficient Staff. Great breakfast. Rooms somewhat old and noisy.
Perfect location opposite the Kremlin. Effective staff. Great breakfast. Rooms a little old and noisy.
Very stylish, very cool. One doorman is worth it. I think one of the most pompous and expensive hotels in Moscow. Embankment The Kremlin is opposite again.
I think hardly anyone doubts the high class of Kempinski. It is always a combination of a luxury hotel level with a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. Moscow Baltschug is no exception.
It was a great hotel. Especially breakfast buffet is the best!
Good location, very close to the Red Square, breakfast is very good, the service staff is very good.
Everything top, bar very nice, hairdresser and barber shop recommended
I would rather have breakfast in the room. Downstairs in the breakfast room it is very noisy.
Great location, large rooms, friendly front desk staff
Not much vegan options at breakfast, no iron and kettle at the room
Above all a very Good property to stay at next to the kremlin
Spacious, comfortable, beautiful, clean. Nicely. Not cheap. Cool. Breakfast is great.
Very good hotel, with good treatment. It is quite expensive
Beautiful hotel in the center of Moscow. The staff are nice and dedicated. Food is also great.
An ordinary hotel, did not notice anything such that they charge such a room rate, except for the proximity of Red Square)
Always thought it is perfect place to stay in Moscow. The city special. No other place that so iconic view to the Kremlin after th Rossiya hotel was demolished and park Zaryadie created. The library balcony view is an masterpiece for painting or remembering the city landscape, just go there and You will never forget your visit to the city !
Great classic Kempinski with a great location near Red Square.
The theater begins with a hanger, and the Hotel Baltschug with the contemptuous and arrogant face of a doorman! Yes, we arrived in a simple Volkswagen minibus, without raspberry-colored jackets and gold chains, we did not throw money, as they walked around the boyars, and this was enough to make the whole attitude of the attendants reflect on the doorway's face! After several times he called the reception to order a taxi, ask for a request and they always cheerfully picked up the phone, but they couldn t help and switched to the concierge, who either dumped or was busy and asked to call back later. Those. you pay money and the attitude towards you is: "you need it - you do it." In normal, not to mention good hotels, they apologized that they couldn t help right now and asked when they could call back to decide / clarify. But here, apparently, the sailing service is blooming and flourishing - meaningless and merciless. One advantage is location.
Nice rooms, clean. Prices for basics (drinks, food) are ridiculous even for Moscow. During my stay, there was constant loud construction going on in the lobby -- you could hardly hear yourself speak... and no one seemed to care, mind, or apologize. And, while the views are wonderful and you can see Kremlin from your window, there is nothing to do in the area, there are few to no restaurants except the over-priced and full of itself GQ Bar next door. There are much nicer places to spend this kind of money in Moscow, much better locations, and comparably pretentious hotels.
Very cool, everything is beautiful, expensive, rich !!! The service is super !! Everyone is very polite! Super!!!
Staffs are always creative in offering the best service. Nicely organized room with good amenities.
View from the windows on the Kremlin. Lowered the rating for shabby furniture, doors (.
A fantastic hotel located on the other side of the river from the red square. It s an old building that has been done up beautifully and richly appointed. Many of the rooms have views directly to the square and I would highly recommend you try and get one of those rooms if you stay here.
Fantastic location to explore the city of Moscow. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It s also a nice event venue and a place to spend a special day. Loved it and would come back anytime :-)
The room is very comfortable and fast, and it is very close to the scenic spots.
Very nice hotel! Booked rooms for our guests from Minsk. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. It's great that we have such hotels in Moscow with good service!
The service is not at all good. We had to wait in the lobby for almost 3 hours
Very disappointed by anastasia bilaya (the duty manager) as she was so rude to not only my family but other guests too. We complained about her unprofessional behaviour.
After a long train from st petersburg we had to wait for hours to get our rooms
The rooms are not even big enough
The renovated expensive rooms don t have a good view
The old rooms have very small and uncomfortable bathrooms. After all these struggles the staff treated us so badly
It was very disrespectful
