Hotel Arts Review

The hotel venue rooms are absolutely gorgeous and spacious. To my surprise they had provided coat rack for the meeting I had attended there and had very lovely refreshments served. All the staff were very friendly and the hotel lobby and hallways going towards the hall we had our meetings in were absolutely clean. Would love to have another event held here soon.

We had our company Christmas party in one of the rooms there. The food they served was pretty good, fancy and interesting. I really can't say much more about it than that

The building its self is great and even the food was exceptional but the staff in the front desk seriously need proper social edic and how to treat others like human beings and not a common thug. But other then that I did enjoy my stay

Hotel pool was not available as there was a private event that booked the entire pool out , which is fine , however a heads up when booking my room would have been nice , seeing as that was the purpose of my stay to relax by the pool. The other reason I am giving a 1 star is when retrieving my car from the valet, I went to reach for my keys and the valet man looked at me and said "this can't be your car" I was speechless. Not sure what he was implying, but for the record , a woman in her 30's can own a nice car ALL by herself .... for future reference :) Other than those two hiccups, hotel arts is a nice hotel with a great ambiance, just some fine tuning on the communication spectrum would be nice .

Very clean although the bathrooms could use better showers/bath tubs

The place is interesting with all the art around. However it felt like a facade for average rooms and a shower unit that wasn't secured properly. Probably won't be back.

Great hotel with good service and easy access to local bars and restaurants.

Desk staff were friendly. Room was clean and well stocked.

Rooms are clean and look newly renovated. Great restaurant inside the hotel. There isn't a refrigerator in thr room however.

The hotel keeps saying the inconvenience of other guests...what about the inconvenience of me that the hotel has given nothing but disrespect and have been nothing rude to me. Guess that doesn t matter since I m only a minority and not a valued guess like everyone else. All I ask for is a refund and they completely refuse.

We threw a small birthday party early March in Raw Bar, inside Hotel Arts. These guys dont miss a beat from hotel to restaurant. We know a few of the staff and managers and we always know we will get amazing service, fab food and sometimes spoiled with something of a fancy but thoughtful surprise. Its also one of my fave venues to work with in our wedding industry

Love this place, great rooms and a great location downtown. Never disappointed when I stay here.

Just outside Calgary's core, caters to a young crowd. On this day it was hit and the central courtyard pool was packed with bikinis.

Amazing service. The Hotel was one of the best I've ever stayed at (50+ hotels a year I stay in) Though dont order the Ferrero Roche pancakes unless you actually was 3 mini cakes lol

One of the best hotels I've stayed at in Calgary. We booked the Staycation package which had great value for the price. Would definitely be back.

Had breakfast, quite tasty... yet they managed to burn the toast but everything else was yummy.

This was my second time staying at hotel arts, and it was a great experience. Had a complimentary upgrade. The room was large, modern, very clean, and quiet. Walking distance to many restaurants and cafes from the hotel. Would definitely stay again on future trips to calgary.

From the outside doesn't really catch the eye but inside was a well kept hotel in a good location. Staff was super helpful. If you have a truck parking is really cramped but they do have vallet parking which I will use next time

Room was not clean found multiple hairs in the bed and bath tub, interaction with associates was okay, not just normal check in line up was confusing. Wasn't sure we're to wait

Nice hotel, loved that you could contact room service/front desk via an SMS. Shower pressure was too weak for my preference. The bartenders made very good cocktails. Overall good experience.

Was not impressed. First room had a broken shower and broken door (wouldn't lock properly). After waiting an hour for them to try and fix the door they did put us in another room. Second room had an a/c unit that was loud and didn't work properly which made for a hot night. Would not recommend or stay again.

Very fancy, the food was amazing. Disappointed in the lack of wintertime amenities. The staff was incredible, very friendly. When I forgot my wallet in the lobby they made sure I got it back.

Nix physically assaulted a guest at the hotel, I was shocked and scared, he then assaulted me, I will never stay here in the future, I left without staying but they still charged us. Do not stay at a place where they will physically assault you.

Great hotel. Clean, stylish, and probably the best location for YYC nightlife

Attended a function at the hotel in late September. It was a reception with passed appetizers and a bar. The staff is very friendly, facilities are modern, and the food is very good.

Recently attended a conference here. Very nice setup, large conference rooms and well soundproofed. The food was very good, sound systems worked well. Altogether a great venue.

The hotel was great. Beautiful interior design, lovely restaurant and very centrally located. There was no cold running water in my room though, I found that extremely odd and rather inconvenient

From what I've seen of the hotel, it's beautiful. Granted, I've only been there for a wedding reception and a few business events, so I've yet to stay in a room. Take that as you may

Service was good. Very nice hotel. Paying extra for parking was disappointing and the time were a little small.

Family wedding here. Such a beautiful venue and it was such a seamless process to have the ceremony there then have the reception and dance follow. The staff were great, very accommodating. The food was amazing, definitely the highlight (other than the bride and groom of course!). Such attention to detail in each and every dish including all the appetizers, the salads, main courses, desserts, late night dishes... Everything was incredible. We also spent the night and the rooms were really nice, clean and spacious. Would recommend this venue to anyone.

I stayed in the Luxury Suite King, and it was fantastically comfortable! There was a living room, a kitchen area, a dressing area, and am enormous bath tub!! I would absolutely stay there again.

Barrett was the best server I ve had in years. Amazing service and friendliest server. Michael was quite rude, but I will be back for Barrett !

I go here for conferences and the decor and rooms are very upscale. There are 2 restaurants inside the hotel that are worth checking out on its own.

Looks like it's been recently Renovated. Very modern lobby and rooms. Underground parking is available as well as a restaurant in the hotel.
The room I stayed in was a luxury suite and was very clean and modern. Big TV and a big bed along with nice mill work for desk space and a dresser. Lighting was adequate. The lamps on either side of the bed have easy access outlets for charging and usb charging ports also. Trust me, this is important.

The bathroom was beautiful with lighting and a big counter top and mirror. The soap,lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body soap are also great and abundantly available.

I forgot to ask why there wasn't a fridge in the room but was odd.

Overall, great hotel and close to downtown.

Great destination boutique hotel. I attended a breakfast seminar and they served a proper full breakfast. My only complaint would be the HVAC unit in our hall was distractingly noisy.

Hotel is very clean and renovated. Well located too. The ventilation system is very noisy even when stopped

Beautiful hotel, great serving staff, nice conference rooms.

My hubby and I booked a 2 night stay as an anniversary getaway from the kids. We booked the Luxury Suit room. This room is massive! King bed, has a couch to sit at in front of the T.V, a decent size desk my hubby and I sat at together to do some work. It has a wet bar, so a sink, fridge and counter. However, it does not come with a microwave. They charge $5 for bottle water, but the coffee and tea is complimentary. We checked out the pool, which was pretty cool! It is an outdoor pool, so swimming really does depend on the weather. They have valet parking for an extra $20 a night and parking is underground. We didn't eat at the restaurant that is attached to the hotel and the bar area was temporarily closed.

Beautiful hotel, amazing and attentive staff, great rooms. In 2019id expect faster internet included and coffee in the rooms could be better. Love it!

Had a great experience. Suite was on higher floor, and was nice and quiet. Needed to hang around a bit later than standard checkout time, and the staff were accommodating (as an exception). Thanks for that. Will stay there again when I'm in town.

Great hotel. Wonderful resteraunts. Have stayed here 4 times and everytime there has been an event in the lobby where the noise has been able to travel the 5-6 floors to my room. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me.

Very stylish hotel, centrally located, great restaurant "yellow door". Room 1212 overlooking the Calgary Tower

The staff at the check in were rude and made me and my partner feel unwelcome. The room is fine, but with a view of the roof and parking lot. Not very impressed.

The pool is awesome. I think more hotels should be doing this. Huuuuge money maker!!!

Terrible service. This place needs to communicate to potential guests. They don't know the full capacity of the pool. They completely gave me the wrong info regarding reso for the pool.

Great hotel - clean bathroom, comfortable beds, nice views, interesting and warm lobby.

Unfortunately only lost one star due to a bit of an upsetting experience with a bit of a rude & disinterested receptionist. I believe his name was Danny - but perhaps he was having a bad day.

Nonetheless great experience - highly recommended and very close to the main mall, places to eat and a short walk to the Saddledome.

Beautiful decor, lovely rooms. The rooms could be a little cleaner. The food was OK, nothing spectacular. Service was wonderful, everyone was very helpful. Room service automatically charged 17% gratuity, plus a 3$ delivery charge. The heater/air conditioner was LOUD. Took away from the great beds. Would stay again for sure.

Stayed here for a night and it was great! Jillian and the rest of the staff were very helpful and explained everything very well. Also, the hotel was very clean! Parking was easy access!

There are many places around the hotel to check out and the best part is that they are all walking distance. It is a 10 minute walk to 17th ave where you can enjoy food and drinks.

It was very cold inside, wouldn't verify parking because didn't have a dinner receipt because was there for a group function

We were in an event room. It was generation enough compared to any other girl I've been in. What stupid out was the appetizer table. I did not eat any but they all looked fantastic. And the beer selection was certainly respectable.

Great venue for company dinner. Food and staffing were good and plenty of space to mingle.

Nice rooms, nice beds, restaurant is also good. No complaints.

Very comfortable rooms and great outdoor pool area.

Clean, well decorated with free bike rentals to explore the town. Staff was friendly. Didn't eat there so can't comment on that. WiFi was free but slow. Beds were comfortable, with several different pillow densities to help find the right fit.

Really convenient location, lots to do nearby, bars, restaurants, shopping, etc
