Very Very BAD BAD SERVICE....They have no idea what they are doing. Charged me $300 for less than 15 minutes for telling me what i told them. I told them i have high water bill and around this area(under the kitchen sink) i hear water gushing. Suppose to be plumber/technician told me I have possible high leak under the sink because he can hear water sound what i told him.

Would not recommend this company. Was in an accident with a company truck. The driver lied three separate times about accident to police and insurance company. I would be concerned having this company do work for my business with employees like this. I've notified those in the construction field to be wary of this company.

If you need a company to tell you where all the tree roots resting 2cm under ground layer are located in your yard... than these are the people to call... If you need utilities located in your yard as this company advertises... WELL THAN KEEP SEARCHING BECAUSE BLOODHOUND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING... THIS WAS A DAMN EXPENSIVE RATE FOR SOME JOE SHMOE TO MARK EVERY TREE ROOT ON MY PROPERTY. VERY UNHELPFUL AND LEFT FEELING ROBBED.

If you are looking for a company to mark your util...

If you are looking for a company to mark your utilities, keep looking.

My husband and I paid Blood Hound to mark our water line and other utilities on our property. The locator marked the water line with little blue flags and told us that it was approximately 5 feet underground. We then had a different company come out and install a new water line, which was supposed to be hooked up to the existing water line (the one Blood Hound marked with blue flags). Turns out there is no water line under those blue flags. The construction company dug about 7 feet on either side of the flags and down about 11 feet looking for the marked water line. When the construction company was unable to locate the water line, I called Blood Hound to ask if they could send someone out to help. They said the soonest they could send someone out would be a few days, but they could have the locator call me to help. I'm not sure what kind of help they could have given me over the phone, but they never called anyway. The construction company dug up more of our yard looking for the water line that was supposed to be there, but, because it wasn't where Blood Hound marked it to be (nor was it anywhere to the sides or further below where they said), we had to pay to have another new water line installed. Needless to say, my husband and I are extremely dissatisfied with the service (or lack thereof) provided. Now that we know the water line was not properly marked, we fear our other utilities are not properly marked either. Hiring Blood Hound has been a costly, and potentially dangerous, mistake for us.

Update: I've been calling this company for weeks asking for a manager to call me back to resolve this issue. I've been promised on several occasions that a manager would call me back, but none ever did. I called again today and was told that my case was assigned to Joe Murphy and that he has been sent several messages asking him to return my call. Joe Murphy finally called me today. When I asked why it took him so many weeks to call me back, he stated that he was busy and only returned my call today in an effort to keep me from calling so often. Joe Murphy was extremely unprofessional and rude to me over the phone. He confirmed that no water line exists and therefore no water line should have been marked, and he admitted fault because the non-existent line was marked. Joe Murphy is unwilling to remedy the cost I've incurred due to the mistake he admitted fault to.

This is a terrible company. Do not hire them.

Worst company ever. Always late and looks like they want to cover their a$$ first. Then work longer than the minimum hours before caring about the job that needs to be done. Would recommend any other company. Remember this a child company from USIC. As all contractors know calling one-call(USIC) only half the time all of the utilities are located correctly. Please use common sense before excavating after using these companies. This could save your life!

We have used this company for locate services three times now and have been very impressed. Pricing is reasonable and their timing to complete our requests has been just as quick or quicker than 811.
