The hotel is very nice, very well located. The Lounge is beautiful, very tastefully decorated. Most of the things that are put in the lounge throughout the day are included with the room. At night, they pass! They have everything to eat. Cleaning and care are perfect.

Very friendly staff waiting to meet you and quickly get you checked in. If you don't finish your latte during the process, do not be caught off-guard when they show up at your room with a fresh cup! Excellent place.
The Hotel that keeps on delivering a 5-star experience
I ve left my fair share of reviews every time we come back to 41Hotel, for a very good reason!
This Hotel is and absolutely deserves to be number 1!
The service, personalised experience, familiar faces, staff and location all make for this hotel being one easy way to get comfortable when travelling back to London and almost has a way of making you feel ... like you never left or that you're part of the family!
Another exceptional stay which has a lot to do with the staff.
This hotel just met the needs. At check-in, the reception hosted us with champagne, delicious snacks and truffles in the room, and comfortable sheets and pillows for a good night's sleep. I am really satisfied with my stay. I will live longer next time.
Lovely boutique hotel with wonderful service and amenities. Close to Buckingham Palace, Royal Victoria Theatre and the Gatwick Express for easy airport access. Friendliest staff and charming venue.
What a wonderful hotel and a wonderful experience! The service at this hotel is outstanding, even exemplary! I have never been treated so well and been made to feel like a valued guest in any hotel anywhere. I was most surprised that the staff actually gets to know you and how well they anticipate your needs. I was also surprised that each day we came back to our room after turn down we were delighted by some simple but brilliant touches. The complimentary pantry is fantastic for a late night bite and a night cap.
This beautiful hotel is located near Victoria Station. It has excellent transit access, and is within walking distance of a few prominent London attractions.
I read a few negative reviews on another site and my sense is that these reviews were made by people who haven't experienced this type and level of service (which isn't for everyone). This is an old hotel and it has the quirks of one. You can't expect perfection in the surroundings because of its age but if you appreciate beautiful old buildings you'll find it wonderful. It's extremely well kept up. Service here is uncompromising and personal - which some may feel is intrusive especially compared to the lack of attention afforded in most American hotels. If you prefer to be an anonymous guest, the staff is very respectful but you'll never be treated like a number here. This place is old school (in the very best way). I wouldn't dock points for this hotel because of these things, it's being itself - just know what you're in for when you book.
Outstanding service from the moment you make a reservation to when you walk in the door staff try to make you feel welcome and accommodate your every need.
It's a smallish hotel (40 rooms) and no real signage on the exterior. They keep a receptionist in the lobby to direct you to the upper floors where rooms are and check in occurs. There is an executive suite available for guests to access a light breakfast, quick snacks and water, coffee or tea during the day (tea and small canapes are offered early evening as well).
The location is right accross from Buckingham Palace, St James park and several restaurants.
Fantastic hotel amazing staff romantic rooms and ambience easy walking distance to the Palace and Westminster some great touches snacks and breakfast well everything a little touch of class.
Very expensive, but the service is great! I have lived in many five-star hotels before, but this unique hotel has a very considerate service that is unmatched by other hotels.
I come regularly to London and stay at 41 as often as possible! I have the right to my glass of Champagne Rose during my check in before I ask and Monika is always preparing me one of his best rooms ... The price is low but with our preferential rate for my company and all which is included, it is a very good value for money! Thanks to all this great team!
I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and I have to say this one of the most enjoyable, relaxing stays I've ever experienced. The service was exceptional and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed while maintaining a bit of quirkiness and fun. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel and it's outstanding staff to anyone.
I am a business traveler from the states and i'm often in London for conferences and tradeshows. I've stayed at Hotel 41 three times and i must say this hotel is exceptional. The service is excellent and the accommodations are lavish. Although the rooms are on the small side compared to the states the lounge and dining areas are spacious and the staff is very attentive. I highly recommend if you are staying in London and can splurge a little.
We stayed 2 nights at Hotel 41 and it was everything we could have asked for - from the warm greeting with Champagne through to the check-out - it's hard to think of a more seamless customer service experience.
Our room was well appointed and the hotel had a lovely, "old world" character, with a fabulous common room where you can eat, drink and unwind.
For us, it was the small touches that made the difference, from a hot water-bottle being placed in our bed to the complimentary cookies/chocolates served with our tea. All the staff were wonderful, generous and warm they were really there to help at any stage. We rarely write reviews but this warranted one.
A magical place. After 4 visits the Hotel 41 remains true to it's core mission...customer service is Paramount to an excellent experience. We will return.
This Hotel's impeccable service and attention to detail is on a First Class Royal level. When we arrived, the Doorman was nice enough to open our Taxi door and carried our bags in. We were then greeted by a delightful Front Desk staff who were helpful with our early check in. The service overall was exemplary without being intrusive. Our fabulous room was very stylish and comfy with all the little touches. The delightful turn down service made our stay extra special. A royal experience if you ask me. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we're in London.
The best hotel in London by far. I have stayed here four times now and I am always amazed by how phenomenal their customer service is. They were very Covid safe and provided my partner and I the most memorable experience. Thank you Hotel 41. See you again soon.
This was a truly exceptional experience! The staff is second to none. Every detail from front to back was impeccable. The location could not have been any better. We look forward to coming back again soon. Regards Paul
We stayed here for our honeymoon and had an amazing experience. The room was so clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast is absolutely to die for. Great options for all! Also, an amazing location just a few minute walk to Victoria station and Buckingham Palace. I have to say though what really made our experience 5 star was the staff, especially Andrew! The people that work here you can tell love what they do and genuinely were happy we were staying there. They helped with a reservation issue we had, gave recommendations for places to eat, and provided transportation directions. They really do make sure you feel so comfortable and happy. It is so worth the money to stay here. Don't miss out!
I stayed down the street (literally) in a lesser hotel and was not pleased with that hotel. While wandering up towards Buckingham Palace, I spied Hotel 41 on the other side of the street and made a mental note to drop by on my way back. I entered the luxury, courtesy of the duly appointed door man, to find a warm and inviting presence like I had never felt before in a hotel. Staff whom I encountered treated me royally, despite my status as a non-guest. I told them I was not staying there, but that I would return for breakfast in the morning. Wow, is all I can say. My breakfast was impeccably served by the lovely Antonia and I left walking on cloud 9. I told the staff I would be back again the next morning for breakfast and only wished I had booked Hotel 41 for a room, but alas, my plan was laid. I intend to return as a guest of Hotel 41 within the next few months and look forward to it being my home in London.
Our stay at hotel 41 was incredible. We stayed in the monarch suite for a few nights. The suite was smart, charming, and have us a view inside a part of Buckingham. We LOVED dining and stopping by the executive lounge for breakfast or tea on our way out. By far the best part of our stay was the staff and the service. It felt like we always had our own private help whenever we needed it, and they went above and beyond with thoughtful gifts, directions, and arrangements for our trip to London. My wife and I left feeling like we were saying goodbye to family. Absolutely recommend them.
Absolutely LOVE!!! Over the top exceptional! Very accommodating staff...there for your every whim! Anything you need; airline help, taxi, car rentals, movie times, private tour guides, foot spa, drinks, great food...their service is beyond compare! Very exclusive, super clean, comfortable and lavish. Strongly recommend!
Very impressive hotel in the central of town in London near Buckingham Palace Best hospitality Best location Best service Best rooms Amazing staffs Will definitely come back!
Hotel 41 was incredible! We chose it for its authenticity and location to Buckingham palace (very close). We fell in love with the exceptional service, food and professionalism the staff exuded. They exceed all expectations of a hotel. It truly was a home away from home, but better!
Stayed 3 night .Concierge v polite , helpful, executive lounge - v good. Corridor very narrow on 5 floor. Enormous non stop noice from walking people in corridor . Wasn't quite relaxing. Extimely Busy road . Good location
This review comes a year later than our stay. We stayed at Hotel 41 for 5 nights in June 2018 and I can t say enough about how amazing our stay was. When we stepped into our room, we were greeted with a personalized welcome note and handmade candy in the room. Every amenity you can imagine was at our disposal in the opulent room.
The ambiance of the hotel and the amazing staff made our stay the most memorable. Anything that we needed was met immediately with a friendly attitude.
Their Lounge, which also is used for breakfast, lunch and casual snacks was always open for us, and we ate some of our evening meals here. The dining room staff was always accommodating, as they packed us lunch for our various daily excursions through London and out in the countryside. Oh, the hand made ice cream was amazing.
Location of the hotel was within walking distance to all of London s main attractions and also close to the train station. It s directly across from Buckingham Palace and our room overlooked the Palace.
The entire staff made us feel as if we were family and it was a wonderful trip. I would highly recommend Hotel 41 to anyone wanting a truly 5 star experience without the stuffiness you might receive elsewhere.
Exceptional service and exceptional care and exceptional food. I would rather give them 6 stars, immensely enjoyed my stay at Hotel 41. If I will visit London again, I will only stay at Hotel 41.
The absolute epitome of quiet perfection. The service is impeccable and unobtrusive. The rooms are lovely and well appointed. But it is the quiet, professional, elegant service that is beyond compare. I have stayed at the Four Seasons - Park Lane, the Chesterfield - Mayfair, etc. and all were nice enough but they lacked the ever present yet invisible, attentive, care that was demonstrated in every interaction at 41. Had I the means I would move in tomorrow and never leave or want for anything again.
Every member of staff was very friendly and personable, attentive and professional yet relaxed enough to be able to have an easy conversation with. Whenever we needed or wanted anything, there was always someone there but we never felt crowded. Great service is always as much about balance as it anything else and the balance here was perfect.
Amazing service but also friendly. We felt very much at home here which you don't always feel at a hotel. Nothing was any trouble or too much to ask. Rooms are very comfortable, especially the bed, but also very beautiful. Could not ask for a better location either. I will never stay anywhere else in London after staying here.
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. On the edge of the hotel is Buckingham Palace. You can walk to Victoria Station in 5 minutes. I was able to check in on November 16th, but I was trapped in Paris at the time of the Paris bombing on the 13th. So I want to change my plan and go back to London one day in advance. The hotel is very willing to change the plan for me to stay. The staff were really very warm and friendly, my feet were broken, and the employees tried their best to help me. The room is very luxurious and very relaxing, it is the 5 stars I imagined...
Stayed on my honeymoon. Fantastic hotel definitely would recommend if in your price range (it is obviously pricey). The staff were all incredible and the hotel had thought of everything to make you feel as comfortable and welcomed as possible. The only thing I would caution against - do not stay if you have an allergy or are sensitive to strong scents. The hotel smells great but is highly perfumed, so this may be an issue. It was not an problem for me, though, and I would love to stay here again!
My favourite city hotel in the world! I've spent a total of 3 years staying and living in 4 & 5* hotels worldwide. For service, it's as close to 6* as a low room-count establishment can get.
What an incredible hotel. From arrival to departure the staff were welcoming and attentive. The hotel sits just a short walk from Buckingham Palace and suits the location perfectly. Its interior and styling is classic, but with all the features you'd expect from a five star hotel. The 'Plunder the Pantry' experience is unlike anything I've seen before, each day there is a changing menu of complimentary snacks (self service is restricted due to COVID), which can be eaten in the lounge or at room. Truly an amazing experience.
Due to very poor security, we had our laptop computer, with sensitive financial information, stolen out of the lobby during the check in for a five night stay. Despite assurances by the Manger, Mr Hendry, the hotel has done nothing to compensate us for the ruination of our vacation. We spent our whole 5 days working with the London police and attorneys to help us protect our identity. Closing accounts, changing passwords, etc. We later found out from the police and confirmed by multiple internet searches that Westminster, the location of Hotel 41, has the highest crime rate in the entire UK. If I had known in advance about the poor security of the hotel, I would have never stayed there. Furthetmore, the rave reviews are not justified, confirmed by the London reviewer from the Telegraph.
The staff are professional, funny, sweet and REAL. The employees will do anything to make a guest's experience pleasant and memorable. The little bits that the staff share of themselves reaffirm that the world is still a good place. Don't come here if you dislike great food, great service and a comfortable bed. The snack buffet is amazing and varied with healthy options. The managers are top-notch and graciously offered to put the World Cup on for the sports lovers. It was great fun gathering around and cheering for England in this typically hushed library setting. Doorman Max from San Francisco was a special favorite. Hotel 41, don't change a thing.
I loved the lounge!! The treats, the hospitality, the atmosphere!! This hotel was absolutely amazing!! I highly recommend booking your vacation with them!
This is by far the best hotel I ve stayed in, in London. Over the Dorchester or anywhere else. The service is IMPECCABLE and the staff are beyond lovely. The rooms are large and comfortable and the location is fantastic. I will never stay anywhere else in London again. Can t recommend enough!
This is the best hotel we have stayed so far, very expensive, but the service is great! We have booked another trip here this year. I have lived in many five-star hotels before, but this unique hotel has a very considerate service that is unmatched by other hotels.
Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. Everything is exceptional, the rooms, the facilities and the food. We spent a lovely evening in the lounge enjoying wine by the fire.
Standing above it all is the service. The staff literally couldn't do enough for us. They were polite, knowledgeable, friendly and it felt like they knew us.
It's definitely the best hotel that I've stayed at and the first that doesn't disown you once you've checked out; we were invited back to enjoy the lounge on our final day.
