I have seen opinions where it is said that several aspects can be improved ... it is like that. The online image leaves an impression that is somewhat different from the real one. The room (simple) in which I have stayed, in my opinion on a scale 0 to 10, a 4, because: it is quite old-fashioned; the air conditioner is NOT conditioned (pulls only cold, because it is maintenance-free); There are some small insects (ants). The walls of the rooms are neat, but they have not been renovated for many years, as well as the bathroom (it has an "old" aspect, and even its doors.) In my opinion, it is a hotel-lodging, at most 3 stars. As a strength: 1) - ATTENTION IS SPECTACULAR (typical of Brazil); humble people and very simple in the deal. 2) - The food complies (you should not think it's a restaurant either). 3) - The atmosphere of your rest bar is VERY good. And finally 4) - The price is according to the hotel in general, and taking into account that it is in an excellent location within the downtown at very good rates. What more could you want!!!!??? All its strengths allow to promote it from three stars to 4. I would like to stay there again, since the warmth and kindness of its owners and staff reclassify it very well. Wonderful, the photos are just like the rooms. The breakfast varied and rich, the kitchen very clean comfortable and spacious. The atmosphere very good. the living room and eating area is very comfortable. They are in all the details the staff that is very friendly, and when I mention all the details is all the details. The cleaning is every day they even make you the bed, the cleaning service is daily. The service of drinks is excellent there are varied and for all tastes. It's the same as a three-star hotel everything.
A nice place in central Buenos Aires for a good price. One strange thing that I observed was the pay advance for the towels to use. Rest of the stuff was fine.

A disaster. We had a room on the 10th floor that did not even reach the elevator. The shower never worked and we had to bathe with the tap of the bathtub. The beds and pillows are terrible, the air conditioning is bad. Better to spend a little more and go to a place where the basics work
The building where the hostel is situated is old but the rooms are cleaned every day, the bedsheets are changed, the bathroom has a very hot shower and the comforter heats up quite a bit. The staff handled us very well! They are super attentive! Excellent breakfast with choices of fruits, breads, cereals, jams, yogurt and juice. If you are looking for a place close to everything with pleasant surroundings this is it !!
Very general, the staff is not like the Green Travel, they are old fritters! Actually, it is mandatory to ask for a paper ring to confirm the identity. The rooms sooo dirty, there are bugs in all the beds (mites I think), they say they are going to spray and they never do it. The guys at the reception very cool, but from the office very bad attention and lack of respect. I do not recommend the place for a stay ..
The location is great. However, the rooms are poorly maintained, has a lousy smell of mildew and the elevators are always with no problem. Not to mention the service. One of the other servants took care of us, the others did not make much of a question, and even competed with the guests in the breakfast queue.

The location is very good, I liked the bed but it is not crazy. Already in case the infrastructure is old but for the price is good option. The negative was that I had a day that in the morning there was no hot water and I had to leave the hostel so I could not bathe. I left a tray (closed) with sweet pastry on top of the small table in the room and filled with tiny ants that I later saw in the bathroom as well. The cleaning could be a bit better and please change the towels, the one they gave me was not dry anymore than it is! The best was the breakfast! The attention could improve.
The hostel is regular, I rented an ensuite and the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. The quality of reception service is terrible. First they told me that breakfast was not included because I made the reservation online when it says otherwise on the website. I had also consulted to make a late check-out, they told me that there was no problem but after a while I want to pay and they tell me that all of a sudden it's all resevated (which may be possible but seeing how the hostel was the last days seems unlikely, besides, he did not even check the availability in the system). I would not go back to this hostel.

The best thing about the Hostel is the location. Full Florida pedestrian between Corrientes and Sarmiento, the heart of downtown. It must be clarified that they charge you for that privileged location and they charge you a lot. In 2015, I paid 950 pesos for a double room, almost the same as a room with the same characteristics in a 4-star hotel would cost today in 2016.

It's right on the tourist strip, Florida st, Buenos Aires, it's a converted old hotel, the beds are comfortable enough but, each room has air conditioning but, it's starting to show it's age, the kitchen is small, the common room lounge area is combined with reception and can noisy, i think it's time for a renovation, which might happen when the, hostel suites oblelisco reopens from its renovations.
Good location near the central attractions and the Subway! Very good morning coffee! Only some of the receptionists are not very helpful and friendly, they need to improve but it is a quiet, safe and recommended hostel! Certainty I'm going back here so soon!
