Absolutely amazing! The boats run every 15 minutes. There is a snack bar and toilets on board but as I didn't use them I don't know if they were wheelchair friendly. I asked a crew member how many people the boat held and he said 700. I wouldn't like to do the counting. It was a fabulous experience, and Niagara town is like a mini Las Vegas with plenty to do.

Atop most North American's to-do list is to see the falls, and there's no better way than Hornblower. The trip across the boarder is quite worthwhile, as the decent and ascent are a bit harrowing on the American side (the Maiden of the Mist). Expect long lines, tourists who don't understand our social customs (there's a line FOR A REASON!), and uncharitable Canadians working the various posts. Nothing of the experience will eclipse the splendor of this Wonder of the Natural World.
The gift shop has some gems, too. :-)

Such a fun experience! We went around 9:15 in the morning and didn t have to wait long at all. The staff were very helpful and attentive to getting us where we needed to be. Once we were on the boat we only waited maybe 10 minutes before departing. Such a cool view of both falls and nice that they provide the ponchos! Loved all the videos and would definitely do it again!

I loved it. We got near to the falls and got really wet. The boats are really big and stable, but I think next time it'll be Maid of the Mist, smaller boats look like more fun.
That, and Hornblower is just a name. Nothing to do with C.S.Lewis.

A very fun boat ride. The line goes by fairly quick and the views on the boat are incredible. A real nice close up of the falls with a refreshing hint of mist! Definitely worth going at least once in your life.

Definitely a must do while at the falls! We bought our tickets online so we just had to walk up, scan our tickets, and wait about 15 min to board the boat. Views and sounds of the falls were spectacular! and once on the mainland we took the funicular back to where we started. The cost was a little overpriced but thats to be expected in Niagara falls

They switched. This used to be the US side company, and the maid of the midst was on the Canadian side, but the switched. We visited in August during the Covid-19 phase 3. The safety rules were well explained. The staff was very nice and friendly. If you buy your tickets online on their website, you automatically get the ride to the falls via the funicular. Kids love it and it is an extra 4$ on the price. They did not put too many people on the ship which made it very easy to keep distance while still enjoying the experience. Everyone who can should at least visit the falls once.

Definitely a must-do when you go to Niagara Falls. It's a 20-minute ride and you get really up close and personal with the falls. They give you a poncho that has a hood and drawstring. But would have been nice to have a drawstring at the bottom because it's really windy and the poncho flies all over the place. The staff is really nice and helpful. Only downside is that they don't have their own parking lot. It's difficult to find parking nearby as well. There's some parking across the street but it's $5 dollars for every 30 minutes. Also just keep in mind that for the last boat, you need to be down there at 8:15 PM. They also offer a ride at night at 9:30pm on days when there are fireworks at 10 pm. It's a 40-minute ride with drinks and snacks. However you don't go into the falls and the fireworks only last 5 minutes. Also costs more than their regular ride so just keep that all in mind before choosing which ride to take.

Fun, incredible adventure. You can not come to Canada and not do it. Enough place for everyone on board to comfortably see the falls. Extremely safe. They had babies and old people. Access ramps in all areas. The parking area to reach on foot like 5 minutes in Cliffton Hill, can take baby stroller. In Niagara the parking lots that we have seen and paid for, usually have been $ 10 to $ 20 Canadian. For this attraction we park in Cliffton Hill. Excellent place also to visit. If you go with children buy the Fun Pass of 6 attractions. Groupon or Expedia or in the same Cliffton Hill. Activities for the whole family.

Expensive for the time spent on the boat. Note: using disposable kway for each person is more than 200 people every 10mins every day ... It makes waste .. it's unfortunate ..
Another surprise: photos taken at the beginning already printed without our agreement and thrown since we did not want to buy them. Mass waste!

Fun but short trip into the heart of Niagara falls. The power and the majesty of the falls is quite breathtaking. The downside? Its friggin freezing even on a hot day. You WILL get wet so dress appropriately. The little plastic rain ponchos they give you are not much of a help.

I a little disappointed by this boat tour. I expected to be blow away by the power and beauty of the falls up close. But I had my 10 month old baby and my husband had our two year old, so I didn t feel I was able to really appreciate the tour as I had to hold on to my daughter so tightly and worry over her getting too wet or slipping on the deck. It was amazing how much you can t see once you re close by the falls and deep in the mist. It s just white and water/mist pelts you like you re in the midst of a hurricane. I think it would be a lovely tour and I would have enjoyed it if I could have taken it in without having to worry about kids. So, I recommend this tour to people without kids or who have grown children. Not good for the little ones!

Had a great time! I wish I could have done the day cruise also but the evening cruise was wonderful. Amazing to see and feel the size and power of the Falls from below on the river. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area. I had an enjoyable day in the area and this was the highlight for me.

A must-do activity when visiting the falls (Canadian side). We bought our tickets online the night before, avoiding the ticket line. We arrived at 1130am on a summer Friday. Line was always moving, so my 8 & 12 yr old didn't complain, though we waited 45 minutes or so. Very good considering how long it could've been. Got a good spot on the rail on the upper deck, but the lower deck is supposed to be better for photos, since it gets pretty wet as you get close to the falls. Ponchos provided keep you dry and our feet stayed dry thankfully. Great experience!

Wonderful boat tour! On the other hand, be careful because you have to go when it hasn't snowed enough yet, I had the chance to go there a few days before the boats move it any more. In summer there can be waiting (a lot of waiting) but also not in winter there is NO ONE! The only expectation you will have is that the boat faces the road but be prepared to get wet even in winter. But clearly it's worth it!

Great experience!

Do not miss . Book in advance on the website.

I cannot recommend this enough. If you're going to Niagara Falls (on the Canadian side) be sure to hit up Hornblower Cruises. They have tons of sailings so you're never waiting long, they get you extremely close to the falls, and the experience is one of a kind. I would have happily paid twice as much and still been happy with the trip!

An appetizer for the great waterfall, the water fall on USA soil is visualized. With the boat you approach the waterfall a lot and I recommend it for not being expensive and without delay to get the ticket and board the ship.

Must enjoy. Nice cruse ride with mist of Niagara Fall. Going very near to hours shoe Fall. Check cruse schedule before planning your trip. Everyone will get rain coat so that mist won t make clothes wet. It s very difficult to take pictures due to mist. Its better to enjoy view and mist instead of taking pictures. It s usually crowded, and wait too.

Excellent experience, third time.

Excellent experience, third time.
First time with hubby, second with my mom and this time I decided to spontaneously go buy the ticket there, just by myself while my hubby was doing his meditation . Everyone so efficient , fast , boat every 15 minutes. So yes they are operating during this time , there are less people , basically you don t wait .

Generally a good professional crew, but I would recommend during this pandemic that you empower your staff to keep people in line. We had two groups on our cruise who were clearly deniers and moving about the boat freely while taking off their masks. I could tell this bothered the staff but they didn't say anything, and I was therefore forced to confront someone who came very close to me with no mask. I enjoyed the experience and it was worth the cost, but other clients were allowed to make my experience less than five stars. It might be smart to direct people to stay on their "sticker".
