Fun cruise into the heart of the falls. They provide the ponchos (disposable) and basic info about the falls. Seems to me it was shorter than it supposed to be but it was really fun.

This experience is worth all the money .... you get a little wet, but it is "awesome"

An awesome experience best on a warm day. I recommend not wearing tennis shoes, the provided poncho does not keep your feet dry. I wore a rain jacket under the poncho.

Authority of this place never gave a thought of public toilets!!

No specific place for smokers.

TIP: GET HERE EARLY. We were here on a Saturday in July and although there was a line and a wait at around 11AM, it was not nearly as long as it was around 2PM. The line was down the street, and just in general, there are way more people along the streets. If you want to miss the huge crowd, just come early.

Great boat trip to Niagara Falls fog! You go quite far to the waterfall, and without a poncho (which you get there for free) you will be drenched. If you can choose between the American side boat trip or this Canadian side boat trip, it is worthwhile to come to the Canadian side. The falls are much more beautiful to see here, and the boat trip from the Canadian side takes longer and goes further to the falls than the boats of Maiden of the Mist (American side).

It was as close to the falls as you can get. Prepare for the spray shower

Loved it! Boat got you up close and personal with both the American and the Canadian Falls. Was a lovely day so we didn't mind getting sprayed by the Mist at all

Fantastic views, great ride.

Downside - you have a few hundred people exiting the boat upon your return. Need to use the restroom? I hope it isn't urgent. They have 5 stalls in the ladies room and the men's room has 3 stalls and 2 urinals... All that adds up to a lot of waiting. Not good.

The crew interaction is feign version of care at best.

The falls are beautiful and well worth exploring it on the water. Sadly, this is the only operator so they gauge people on food/drinks and aggressively push the giftshop and lame photos.

Incredible boat ride. You get very close to the falls and will get wet... Luckily you are given a poncho. They also give you a brief history of the falls through the speakers.
I went on a Saturday and the line was very short - the boat fits lots of people. I would highly recommend!

This was my 5th visit to Niagara but the first one to the cruise and I must say it's truely amazing experience. The view of the falls from the bottom of the falls is just mesmerizing & a larger than life like one. I have uploaded some pics & videos too for you to get a feel but it's nowhere the same. Now somw details, better book the tickets online if u plan to go for the cruise else there can be a long wait int the queues. You can either pay for a fulicunar for $4 also included in the ticket price or take a free elevator to the deck of the cruise boarding point. Highly Recommended. Enjoy!

If you want to see the power of the falls I advise you to do this cruise

If you want a great experience take the fireworks illumination night cruise, it is an unforgettable time. The ship has a bar which is great. You can see the falls from every angle. The night cruises aren t as crowded and the lines aren t insane either. Parking is at least a 10 minute walk, you won t get soaking wet but will get water on you. Highly recommend this!!

A must do when you are visiting. We went on Friday recently. We waited until just after 3:30PM to go get tickets and go on the boat ride. Lines moved quickly. So enjoyable to see both the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. A beautiful day for it. Will definitely do this again.

A beautiful way to see the fireworks. Went after a squall went through so the boats weren't too crowded. Great view and a fun family experience.

The boat ride on the Hornblower Niagara Cruises is a must. All tourists who visit Niagara must make this trip unforgettable. But I only recommend it if it's on a hot day because you're going to get wet for sure. But it is worth every drop and the tour is also not expensive.

Great cruise, well worth the 20$. You spend just enough time to get soaked by the falls before coming back. Is recommend a bathing suit and flip flops on a hot day and don't bother with the rain poncho : )

Must do cruise if visiting Niagara falls. Great to see the falls up and personal. Makes many trips a day so even when there are lots of crowds you can get on in a timely manner.

Very cool perspective on the falls. Definitely worth the $20 cost of admission. We stayed on the lower deck so we could pop back inside if it started getting really wet on the outer deck, and it certainly did!

It's amazing cruises there in Niagara falls, specially for families and children. Kids are really loved the cruise and they already want to come again, take care you may be wet it there do take care of your staff abe cameras and any electronic devices. You will never regret doing this cruise. Enjoy.

100% worth the price. I would have never gotten these views anywhere else. You get so close to the fall and it feels amazing. I always thought it was slightly overhyped but I was wrong. You have to do this is you are in Niagara!

A ton of fun! Make sure you have your stuff in waterproof bags because you will get wet from the falls.

Fantastic experience with only 6 of us on the boat it was truly a once and lifetime experience, definitely worth the extra money to take part in what felt like a completely private tour of a wonder of the world. All staff where very attentive and friendly and we felt after watching them clean and sanitize that outside of common sense we had nothing to be worried about during these challenging times.

This was an AWESOME experience!!! If you come to Niagra Falls (Canada or USA side), everyone should do this!!!!

I would 100% recommned this experience. It was absolutely amazing and it really allows you to appreciate and enjoy the true power and beauty of the falls. The 5 stars is truly deserved because of how accessible and caring staff was towards my grandmother with her walker and they even offered wheel chairs. She even had a great view from sitting inside the ship.

tourist store shoulder to shoulder movement in store,

cramped movement, difficult to find seating
at local restaurants , un peaceful feeling when
you get a seat or people eager to get your spot
turnover feeling, but nice 4 min stall at actual falls

The Niagara waterfall cruise is definitely an extraordinary experience. You may be discouraged to go because of the price or the long lines but regardless I assure you it's worth it. I would suggest you wear something that you don't mind getting wet because even with the poncho they give you, you will be drenched. The boat has two floors and because of the mist it gets quite slippery. You may see a few mini rainbows . Overall it's difficult for me to put my experience into words but I definitely recommend you try it for yourself!

I finally crossed this one off my bucket list! Don't know why I waited all these years before witnessing the falls from the Hornblower's perspective. It was absolutely breathtaking. I kept my phone in my pocket for fear of dropping it or getting it wet, but the memories created that day will never be forgotten! By the way, the staff was super friendly! Thank you Hornblower!

What an amazing experience! Did Maid of Mist many years ago but this was better. You get a bit wet but worth every second .
I thanked the crew leader Shane and his crew. They were so helpful and kind as I needed help entering and exiting.

We really enjoyed our tour. Ponchos are provided, but be sure to wear clothes that dry quickly, you ll get wet! They take you close to the falls and it s a beautiful view. Plus it s a little cheaper than the Maid of the Mist.

You must take this cruise. It is worth every penny. Buy tickets online so you don't have to wait in the queue to get it. Approximately wait time was 30 to 40 minutes.

Best boat ride ever
You get close to the American and Canadian falls, but they take you much closer to the Canadian falls. It's incredible to see and feel the power of the waterfall! We were drenched inspite of the ponchos provided, but it was a hot day so we didn't really mind. It gets pretty choppy as the boat gets closer to the falls, something to consider if you get motion sickness. It was an incredible experience and we will definitely do it again.

Bring your lunch to eat down near the falls! Interesting experience. Nature is really powerful and you can see it during this 20-minute boat ride.

Notes on Niagara Falls

Boaters get completely wet.
Some places are not wet, but if the weather is nice
Clothes and shoes dries quickly, so you don't need to worry about it.

If you go on a tour, your luggage will be your guide
Because you can go on the tour bus
Changing clothes is replaced there.

I was ready to get wet and dressed so that I could get wet.
I was only worried about my shoes
I got on a boat with flip flops!
Shoes are hard to dry

Clothes dried out immediately!

By boat you can reach the waterfall very close
I was able to feel the power!

Amazing and unforgettable experience. Visiting Niagara from Canada side then it's Hirnblower only. We enjoyed our time and it was a thrilling experience.

Saturday noon around 11:30am, got in our boat ride, with-in 25 min of reaching the street spot. 15 min queue for the Funicular, 1min ride down, 5min wait to get to the boat and cruise started in another 4min. I would say thats pretty good for such a crowded spot. This obviously gets crowded as the day progresses but I think its never too crowded for you to not do it. You should do it!

Buy tickets online, unless you want to save $3 to avoid riding the funicular - those tickets are only available on spot with 5min line up.

The boat ride itself is amazing and apart from the first floor deck, you can enjoy a great view from the ground floor deck front end of the board - especially if you are accompanied with elderly who would like to sit and take break from the heavy downpour once you are in the heart of the falls.
