Hornblower Niagara Cruises Review

Definitely one of the top 5 things to do in Niagara. The view was breath taking. Stay at the front of the both to get the best experience. Be prepared for a long wait though during peak season.

A cruise that you can't miss if you go to Niagara Falls! The Canadian side is this, and the American side is the "Fog Maiden", but as you can see, I feel that there are more people on this boat.
I will give you a red poncho-shaped kappa, so I will go on board. There is a flag on the waterfall side in the direction of the boat, and the position of that is better. Proceed as far as the waterfall. , You can experience the power of roaring while getting drenched by the splash of waterfall.
If you do not act in the morning in the tourist season, the waiting time will be terrible.
Buy a Niagara Attraction Pass for efficient sightseeing.

It is very worth taking the time and paying the cost. It is an incredible and wonderful experience. You get very close to falls.

An out-of-the-world experience. A must do when visiting the Niagara Falls. For the best results, experience it from the upper deck. That gush of mist blowing into you at the foot of the falls is every bit enthralling, exhilarating and entertaining. It gets very busy, so allow sufficient time to buy tickets and queue up for entry and exit. If you miss a cruise, don t panic as you can take the next one. The funicular and the zip line are not that exciting, so go for it if only you really want to.

There are so many people that the children are tired, but once they get on the boat, they run away. Since the ticket line and the boarding line are different, it is a good time to pay online while waiting at the boarding line.

I really enjoyed this boat ride it was everything I hoped for. We went in the height of summer and the cool water felt great. It was amazing getting that close to the falls and got some amazing pictures

Such an amazing experience! I was also impressed with how fast the extremely long line moved!

Going there during summer is the best, as you WILL GET SOAKED. They provide you with a disposable poncho, long enough to cover from head to almost my knees, I am 5'8. The tour takes a trip right along the bottom of the fall, giving you a close up view to take beautiful pictures and views, and of course, getting soaked by all the mist.

Absolutely critical to hang on to your little ones, and sitting down will be an absolute bad choice as all seats will be soaking wet, and your pants will be the sponge.

Worthwhile experience if visiting the Canadian side of the falls. We came during peak season and line was up to 2 hours. We were herded like cattle but perhaps that's what it takes to get through the thousands.

Had a great experience. They even have some shelter just in case you have some little ones you dont want to get completely soaked.

Completely amazing experience! My wife and I really enjoyed the ride to the falls. It looked like an incredibly long line but this was part of a bigger tour we were on so we got to skip the line.

Not worth a trip to Niagara if you dont board the Hornblower. Staff were friendly, experience takes no more than an hour.
Incredible feeling when the boat approaches the bottoms of the Niagara: thundering of the water, rocking of the ship, mist on your face, and nothing but Falls in your field of view.

When you are near the sunset, the sky is beautiful. But I didn't imagine being so close to the waterfall (like the itching of the boots)

This was one of highlights of any Niagara falls holiday amazing boat ride you don't realize how powerful those falls are until you get up close absolutely amazing and you will get wet but that is all part of the fun

Brilliant! Impressive! You drive directly to the falls. In the summer with warm spray super fun! If necessary, take spare clothes with you. The ponchos only do the bare necessities ...

A great way to experience the Falls! Prepare to get wet, even with a poncho.

Everybody wants the chance, so expect long waits and lineups for this phenomenal experience! Views are spectacular and worth the wait. Of course, make sure you wear your swimsuit because you're more than likely to get wet! You don't have to take the funicular and instead, can take the stairs or elevator. But remember, you'll be waiting in line! We went in late July and only after when we were wet did we feel comfortable in the heat. Otherwise, it was very hot. They should just call this the official Niagara Falls Water Ride!

Worth every penny.. Definitely don't skip the boat ride.. Don't forget... You'll definitely be getting wet.

The Hornblower Cruise was amazing!!! The staff was so nice and the wait wasnt long at all. Up close and personal on the top deck was the best!!!! Cant wait to go back!

I have been on the maid of the mist several times but Hornblower was a different experience. The most attractive attraction in Niagara...

Suggest you book tickets online it's cheaper and much faster over an hour wait for buying tickets but the lineup to go onto the boat goes quixk

Excellent! Wait times are very short. Well worth the money unlike other things in Niagara. You will get soaked when you get down further to the falls. Not lightly misted, soaked.

This is where the boats leave from on the Canadian side. It's great to get so close to the falls! You feel some spray but it's fine. A poncho is included in the price. There is a large and organised queueing system, but we didn't have to wait too long in May.

Just finished riding #Hornblower earlier today. Bought a double deck bus tour package and this was included. The tour sales guy never mentioned handicapped accessibility which was obviously needed by one member (a injured veteran at that) and kept him from enjoying many parts of the package. I have to hand it to #Hornblower though. No questions asked they made sure he got on the boat.

As for the ride. It was great! Best part of the day. It was a busy weekend and I was afraid the boat would be silly crowded but there was plenty of railing space. Where are the best views of the falls? It has to be here.

Hecks yes, the highlight of any trip to Niagara Falls. And with any tourist attraction I recommend arriving as early as possible. It opens at 8am, we got in line at 9am and got on right away. You'll get very wet but there is a sectioned off glass area if you want to stay dry.

Sign says skip the line buy tickets on your phone. Then you still need to wait online to get the physical tickets. INSANE! Wasted over an hour.

The kids loved it too, it's amazing to see the strength of the water!

This was such an amazing experience! My favorite thing that we did in Niagara Falls. I would totally recommend this for everyone.

Formerly called the Maid of the Mist, this is an excellent tour of the Falls. This one is on the Canadian side, so the view is much more spectacular.

Great experience & is a must when in Canada. The roar down in the water is amazing and the sound you here up top on the banks is nothing compared to it. Interesting info on the mini tour from the dock to the base of the falls itself. Top marks.

Surreal experience! Hornblower has to be the first thing to do at Niagara falls hands down. The half hour ride will give you a lifetime experience and memory.

There's not much of a tour guide aspect to his but it was efficient and super fun. I think it's hilarious that they don't warn you of getting drenched but they do provide a poncho.

Price seems fair and must experience it at least once.

Riding on this boat is well worth doing! My entire family loved riding the Hornblower into the mist coming off of the waterfalls. If you're in the area then I highly suggest checking this out. Be prepared to get wet even though they do provide ponchos for the ride. If you're not into getting wet then you can ride in the lower portion of the boat which is enclosed and dry.

I took the fireworks cruise at 9:30 PM and had a great time. Just the drinks offered at the pier are expensive (8,50 for a beer). I can still very much recommend the cruise.
