Up until December of last year, I was a loyal customer of another mortgage broker, having used that team for several transactions over the 17 years I owned my prior home. On the recommendation of a friend, I refinanced it with Homeowners Financial. It was a pretty simple re-fi, and it all went really smoothly. So this year, when I was ready to take the leap and buy my dream home, I turned to them again, and am SO glad I did! I can't say enough about Homeowners Financial and the fantastic team led by Leo Zuniga! Leo made himself available for insight and advice through the entire process, from offer to close, and well beyond. Heidi was a dream to work with, always so helpful and accommodating. This purchase definitely had it's challenges, including an inexperienced agent and limited funds. But Leo proved himself to be a true mentor, turning each challenge into a learning opportunity. Leo understood that even though I could qualify for a bigger mortgage, my comfort level wasn't as high. He helped to structure a responsible deal that works for me.
