Great movie selection you won't find in the mainstream. Non-profit theater that supports independent film makers. We'll run and maintained and now has a "micro-theater" at the Portland Airport.

I don't particularly like seeing well-known movies here but I love it for the special events and screenings. I strongly encourage potential visitors to look at the events calendar and for management to know that I appreciate their dedication to the industry, education, and local arts.

This is one of the best theaters in town. Great prices and great popcorn with a nice selection of beer. What more could you ask?

They have a variety of events and movies. I would highly recommend the Kung Fu night where you will see classic Kung Fu that isn't available anywhere else!

Check the website and sign up for the newsletter because you wont want to miss the unique and fun events on this theater.

Hands down my favorite theatre in Portland. It has such a great atmosphere! It has that old theatre charm, but is very well maintained and has modernized seats, projectors and other amenities we have come to expect from the typical theatre. Plus, where else can you get a large popcorn and a pint for under $10?? That s insane!!

This place is amazing! I've never enjoyed a theater so much. Hey have adult beverages available and kombucha on tap. The building is an experience on its own. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a place with its own character and who is not looking for the latest blockbuster experience. I intend to go back often.

Wow! Been going to this theater since I was a child and it has not changed a whole lot which is very comforting and familiar. Always have good memories of this theater. When we moved back to Portland I went with my kids to see a movie here and it was just like I remembered only now.....they serve beer! It's Great! Recommend this theater to anyone who hasn't been there and I commend the staff as they are all volunteering their time to keep this little theater hoppin'!

Great historic theater. I recommend getting a subscription if you're into movies at all. They regularly show rare indie, cult classics, silent films with live pipe organ music, and special events make this more than just a basic movie theater. They also support showing in film (35mm, 70mm for example). Just make sure you show up early for the more unique showings.

This is a great theater that consistently shows interesting stuff and puts on a ton of community involved events.
I seen so many good things here, but probably the best was a screening of a Sailor Moon OVA that never came to America.
