Hollywood Casino Toledo Review

We went to the epic buffet inside the casino..it was $85.00 for two of us. There was lobster supposed to be on the buffet..we got there when it opened at 5 the lobster wasnt even ready on the buffet everyone was waiting for it..15 to 20 min later it finally is ready so of course everyone races up to get theirs then we crack into it it was so tough and dry you could barely chew it..so disappointing for the amount of money. Honestly it was far from a $40 per person meal. We had been there before and it was decent..this time not so much. We probably wont go back as we can get a way better meal for $85.00 at alot of other places.. no one should serve lobster over cooked when it costs that much just throwing that out there.

Very nice place, beautiful high ceilings and airy. Even restrooms where huge and clean.

It's a casino, so, expectations need to be reasonable. But, it's the atmosphere which seems to be lacking at this location . As compared to, say, MGM in Detroit , it is dull and almost boring. It's just not 'fun' in this Hollywood location...and, I have been to several .

It was ok. Not what I had pictured in my head but was alright. The buffet wasn't all that great...I've heard so many good things about it...we were not impressed. Casino staff was decent...didn't see any servers on the floor tho.

Tight slots and rude table dealers and then they let me in without checking my ID .I spend 150$ then go outside to smoke a cigarette.Coming back in I had a valid Id card that showed my age and didn't let me in because it was clipped by the DMV. Not valid to drive but valid as an ID. Im not driving a car to the blackjack table????

Food is ok but hate the Thur Asian food.
Bring back Italian food, I hear comments all the time.

Heard a rumor that if you use your card and you are from an outside state (not Ohio) you will not win. I did an experiment by not using my card at some machines and using my card at the same machines and cards resulted in no wins but no card resulted in wins coincidence?

It was a great fun and safe time. Ate some good food lost some money lol. Would do it all again.

A great casino right off of I-75. Easy in. Easy out. The gambling floor is open and there are plenty of tables. Everything is laid out will and easy to maneuver.

I honestly never win there. Hardly any playback, guess when you don't have local competition you don't have to cater to customers.

Had fun with friends and a good meal at the buffet.

What casino closes their buffet for a private party ? Hollywood casino does. Was planning on eating and playing a bit but can't even play. People are standing around waiting to get on table games you would think they would open more up but nope. Guess we just make the drive to cleveland, Detroit or flight to Vegas. I see a big empty building here in a few years if they keep going like this

Disliked everything about it except staff.
Buffet was horrible for the price.
Being a smoker I felt very discriminated against.

Took out a lot slots. If u like table games and bars u will love it

clean friendly staff, good sized floor with tons of tables anx slots. always lots of holdem tournaments and different sized limits going on

I have not won big but just going there to gamble and seeing all the beautiful lights makes me feel great.

I never win at the casino they take all my money and I never win

We never have bad food always excellent if you haven't been there you need to go

Had a really awesome experience here. The employees are all so wonderful. Had a great time when I go there.

VENUE terrible. If you go to Hollywood Casino concert series, buy the cheapest seats you can get. NO crowd control, people standing in front of those that purchased $ seats. Worst Venue ever attended. Hollywood is not the place to go for concerts. No Crowd control. Can not enjoy the concert when people pressing in. Concert started with the sun in your eyes. First 20 minutes could not see the performers.

I go here all the time. You'll happy to just get your money back. Itll take $600 from in a blink of an eye. Put a couple more dollars in you'll hit something around the money you started at. Put $100 samething you will hit something for $100. No matter what your bet is. There are maybe 15 winners a day here and outta 1000s those are bad odds. If you. An find a cheap machine and dont care about losing you're money it can be a fun date is guess, well for atleast her lol... detroit is way better. This casino is no different than buying scrach offs. Just cost more.

The casino is pretty but not as large as I expected. You never win the machines do not pay out well and the service is terrible. The 2 employees at the card center were rude and seemed bothered I asked questions about the card. The comps are a joke - they never build up - the worst of any casnio I have been too. Selection of machines not that great - I thought they would be new and improved but not really.

Hands down the worst casino for high limit. It's too badd that you have to put in $6000 to hit a jackpot for 1200. I have never hit a jackpot here for more money than I put into the machine it's almost like they're set up to take in a 100% of your money and give you 20% back so it's a lose lose. I been there 10 times and now hold the 2nd best card that they offer, I think it's the elite card.. To reach that level in just 10 visits shows you how much I play. But the reason I'm telling you this is because it's rare that you see someone hit a jackpot for more than 1400 or 1600 or 2400. MGM in Detroit blows this place out of the water. If you look at the jackpot numbers for the day or the month MGM in Detroit pays 300% more. For instance I love one's day night they probably pay 50000 in jackpots where as MGM plays closer to 350000

Thee absolute worst odds. It literally seems like the odds are 90 to 10. I'll do the extra drive to Detroit for better odds

Smoke free casino.Many table games. Great vibe. Short drive from metro Detroit . Spent New Year's Eve enjoying the band Rockstar. Fun experience

Slot machines are rigged most winners only win between 1100 to $1,200.... a slot machine I could usually make $200 to $300 on will not pay out now, when you bet above a 1.20 lost almost $300 on it this past Sunday probably will not play it again.

I hate to gamble so I liked nothing about this trip was only there because the wife really wanted to give I lost 20 bucks & left

If u go after 1 am on the weekend there's no one there.

We had a great couple of hours here while visiting from out of town. It was a great way to do a little gambling, since we do not have casinos in our area and just to relax and let loose on some slots.

Restaurant food very good. Clean Casino. Slots a little tight

Played video poker games... couldn't find video blackjack games... still had a great time... beautiful casino

Epic buffet has delicious food. The all you can eat lobster is well worth it.

The slots were too tight and table games were no good.

It doesn't pay like Detroit or comp. For example I, can spend a hundred in Hollywood and get $3 comp. In Detroit the same thing I can get a cornbeef sandwich and some money back and let's not forget them sandwiches R 12 dollors.

Wouldn't accomadate a party of 10 that came in in a motorhome with a designated driver. We left and Hollywood Casino called Perrysburg Township Police Department on us...they has a good laugh at Hollywood Casino .

Nice, clean, facility and the smoke-free atmosphere is greatly appreciated! Lots of table and slot games to choose from, as well as poker rooms for tournament play.

Three restaurants offering different price ranges for food. There are also some well-stocked bars with a wide selection of domestic, craft and imported beer.

Good buffet, clean and non-smoking gaming area. Friendly staff. This place doesn't have the skeezy vibe some casinos can give off. Plenty of parking, easy ins and outs. Live music events. Overall, a fun place. As with all gambling: there is risk and know your limits.
