Good beer selection with a wide range of styles and tastes, mostly of local and regional brews. Plenty of TV's for your sports viewing pleasure. The food menu seems good, though I haven't eaten there yet. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere and decor inside are pleasant.

Go alone and have great convo with whoever is working... bring a large group and reserve the room on the side for a game... and the food is amazing. They actually go to a butcher to make their own burgers.... for real.

There's nothing particularly wrong with this place, but there's nothing particularly special or unique; I think it wants to be a Scottish pub at its foundation but has a near-gaudy commercial sports bar built on top -- if you squint you just might think you were in a Red Robin bar ... whoopie /sigh/. For all the Scottish characteristics that hood-ornament the decor, the ownership seems to have a unwelcoming disdain for all things of Scottish heritage that won't hang quietly on the wall -- which is surprising, or to say confusing. The last time I was there I ordered a burger, okay but not phenomenal enough to take an hour to bring to the table ... perhaps it was made & delivered from the North Gate Red Robin? I've found that when I go here its to be my with friends & enjoy their company -- I look forward to the time with my friends, but I don't especially look forward to anything having to do with the venue.

This bar is located on the outer edges of Greenlake right next to PCC market. It is a great place to watch a game with flat screens at every corner of the bar. The food is classic bar food but the burgers are great. But the real draw of this place is the Scotch. They have well over 50 varieties of multiple ages. If you a person who has an appreciation for Scotch then this is your place.

Wally and his staff have the best bar in Seattle. It accommodates sports, delivers great food, the beer is cold and the people are just great. Friendly folks who are perfect to share a drink with. And note this is a Florida Gator bar and I am an Alabama alum. So it must truly be the best for me to overcome this glaring issue and still give it 5 stars. Need a drink, good food, good friends? Go to St. Andrews Bar & Grill.

Have been to this bar on weeknights three times and each time the service has been terrible. Have to flag down servers, they forgot to put our food order in, and they leave your drink sitting on the bar for 10 minutes before bringing it to you. Wanted to like this place as I live nearby but now I won't be back.

Nothing really marks it out as a Scottish pub, except the righteous picture of Rod Stewart in his prime, displayed prominently above the bar. Looks like an extensive single malt selection, will be sampling on my next visit. Sliders and the salmon sammich were well above par. Good onion rings, though the Rod sauce is in fact tartar. Service was a bit slow, but that's probably because we were there before the rush, and the owner was taking his time to chat everyone up. Had a nice time comparing our Hong Kong experiences. Highly recommended.

St. Andrew's is a terrific restaurant near Green Lake. In addition to great selection of beers and scotches, they feature a menu with a nice variety of appetizers, soups, salads and sandwiches that go beyond the typical pub food offerings you find at other places. I've had the spicy barbacoa tacos (really good), the spinach salmon salad, and more than my share of burgers and sandwiches. It's all been excellent.

Pair that with a friendly attentive staff, and St. Andrew's is great place to hang out if you are at Green Lake in the summer, or just want a warm, comfortable place to have a good lunch or dinner on a cold and rainy Seattle winter day.

Since I was visiting Seattle from Denver I had to check out the Broncos bar in the neighborhood. Nice little sports bar, good beer selection, friendly staff, and a descent patio out back for the sunny days. The annex makes for a good event space and of course a great place to watch the Broncos on Sunday.

We love this place. It s our go to for watching sports and/or high quality bar food. The owner and bartenders are great and the food is wonderful. Their meat is sourced from a local butcher and I can definitely tell.

I come here with my family to watch Liverpool games on Saturday mornings.
This is a very good bar, and holds high standards.
The place is always clean, service is fast and friendly.
There is plenty of drinking selection. Plenty of TV's for viewing, and there's even a side of the bar just for events. There is an outdoor section as well.
Prices are standard for the Seattle area.

This is a five star B&G. I have been enjoying a pint now and then here for years and it only gets better. The food is excellent and they have a large selection of beers and ales as well as some amazing whiskeys. AND, once a year, sometime in March they record the NCAA Division I wrestling finals and Provide us with our own TV to watch the ancient sport of mano a mano while enjoying the best burgers in Seattle.

I came the bar to watch a Liverpool soccer (football) game. The atmosphere was amazing - if you ever want to get into English football or liverpool football club, this is the best place to do it. Everyone was friendly and positive.

The staff and barman were warm and inviting. Seating was standing room only by the time I arrived, but for watching sports and having a drink it's good. They have lots of TVs, so you can see the game no matter where you are in the bar.

They have one menu item, a big breakfast, for the morning game time, and you can get drinks and coffee too. They have unlimited coffee refills, which is great for early morning game times!

They also have the local liverpool supporters group there, so you can learn more about the club or get a scarf or Jersey if you like.

Ok, so St. Andrews has always been awesome. Great food. Great Scotch selection and great service. However, on 3-29-14 we arrived at approximately 6 pm to get a table for the Sounders game. We were expecting a few more people so we grabbed a table in the middle of the main bar area and pulled another table together. At that time we (2 of us) ordered food and drink. A while later 2 more showed up and then eventually one more showed up. We drank, ate and watched the game. At the end we asked for our bills...emphasis on the "s". The informed us that for parties that large they could not split the bills??? Two parties of 2 and a single....!!! Really. Fine, we busted out the calculators...split the bill ourselves and paid. This was almost a $300 dollar bill before tip and we had to pull out OUR calculators.. Sorry but I have spent over 10 years in the service industry and that was beyond ridiculous. I would like to think we will return but this left a very sour taste in all 5 of us. Sorry way to end a otherwise great evening.

This place is nice with good food and friendly service on a quiet weekday evening but if you go on a busy Friday night and you don't know the bartenders don't bother. They can't wait to get rid of you. Very unprofessional. I understand when you are busy and I am very patient but sorry I don't know you so yes I'll leave as quickly as possible.

Service can be slow, taps don't drastically change. Food is solid. A go to for Sounders viewing events and it's a Denver Broncos bar. There is a back room they could expand open to accommodate of they are staffed for it.

This is a very nice neighborhood bar. The bartenders are friendly and fairly efficient and the food is good. More importantly, even though I was there for the first time and it was clear that many of the patrons were regulars, I didn't feel like stranger.

There's plenty of room (they even have an annex space for private parties) and except on a game day or special event, the bar and dining area is relatively quiet and very comfortable.

I ordered the fish-n-chips with a pint from the rotating tap and my companion enjoyed a salmon sandwich. They didn't have a cider option, so my companion ordered a club soda.

It's also worth noting that the bar features a wide variety of premium whiskey and single malt scotch favorites.

Have been coming here since they opened umm, a little while ago. While I don't get in much anymore, that's not to do with anything other than life. When I do have an opportunity for an evening in a pub, this is my only choice. The owners and longtime staff have joined the ranks of people I consider friends over the years. Now I know that doesn't seem like much of a review at first but think again. Of all the places we have to choose from, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Everything I can ask for in a pub, from friendly atmosphere, good service, variety, tasty food, and friendly faces is all right here.

Our group comes here every Monday night after Scottish Country Dancing on Phinney Ridge. We found St. Andrews right when they first opened, and were warmly welcomed by the owners. Great service and selection of all beverages. Yummy food, too!

Great food, they have a room reserved for watching the motogp race every Tuesday following a race weekend which is fun if you're a fan of the sport. The burger I got was really good and the scotch selection at the bar is extensive.
