It's a small and cozy place. I went there to see a Fringe show. They don't serve food (at least during the shows) and it was a bit disorganized compared to other places. But the staff is nice and the place is cool.

Fun bar BUT theft is a huge problem. I went on 26/5/2012 and had my iPhone stolen from my bag (which was on my person the whole night) and when I reported it to the barman he said that had already happened to another girl that night. When I reported it to the policeman it was the 3rd theft report from the bar all in the same night. Subsequently have heard from other people this is not unusual at this bar at all. Management need to increase security!!!!

Went with a group of friends. We are mostly college-aged and all had a great time! The music was good, drinks were good and we just over all had a great time. We went on a Saturday and it was unsurprisingly, extremely crowded.

Definitely a guilty pleasure, you don't end up here unless it's dark o'clock and a small lake of alcohol has been consumed.

A small, dark room with a piano at one end, a bar on the side and that's about it, the bar is a touch pricey but as your decision making processes have been impaired well before this point you'll not notice, all you'll care about is when they're going to play " Don't Stop Believing".

Having bought my first drink.then soon after, met my two mates there.Suddenly the security told me to leave.so Embarrassing.
The place is too small, hardly move at all, never mind dancing and the place looks tired.Everything is expensive.Pianist is a good singer but get bored with the same set of songs every weekend. If you really wantin a good place for a drink and a better space for dancing,Definitely NOT piano bar for me because you will go home fully realise that the place is struggling to keep up.

My friends and I went to this bar last night, there was a long queue to get in but thats to be expected for a Saturday! However when we got close to the front the bouncer was incredibly confrontational and mean spirited towards my friends who were being pushed forward by people behind us, snapping at them 'do you know how a queue works? you won't get in if you keep that up'. Later when the rain got heavier my friend tried to lighten the mood by asking if he liked hot chocolate, as that would be the perfect way to warm up after standing in horrible weather all night. The bouncer immediately turned on her becoming incredibly verbally abusive, shouting that she was 'disrespecting'him and that we should tell her how to act. We ended up just standing in silence to avoid him lashing out at us again, and when we finally got in the place was excessively overcrowded (you couldn't move for bodies). Lovely bar staff and good music but would never come back after this really disappointing experience sadly.

I went here with Mickey Rourke one night and it was great. Mickey was in drag, wearing a nice wee outfit he'd borrowed from cliff Richard. We loved the fact that no-one recognised him and he introduced himself as Nadia and got loads of attention. How we laughed on the way home, munching on our kebabs as he told me about the eight guys who had felt his arse. Would definitely go here again. Sadly, my are went unfondled that night.......

Attended a free fringe Show here. The show, Luke Closely, was really good. The bar was dark and I would imagine Intimate place for a drink. Unfortunately due to the placement of pillars the view was somewhat restricted.

Always busy & full of (ever so slightly) foo folk, Fingers is a great night out. The Piano Man is awesome and goes right up to the whistle at 3, playing great sing-along classics all night. Fab range of drinks on offer at the bar too. Always fun!

What an atmosphere at 2am. A late night dive bar, the place with the most wasted people beyond belief. So many random things happened : one guy was lifting his shirt for an hour, asking to be slapped harsh on his bare stomach by all patrons. Another started to down a drink while a girl watched in pure admiration. Another guy lifted a girl on his shoulders who was karate kicking all accidentally . Not to mention the floor that's covered in broken glass. Fanstatic place but make sure you are drunk enough before entering or you will hate it!

Proper horror show. An Edinburgh institution, everyone ends up here one day when there's nowhere else open and the drinking must continue. Ladies prepare to be hit on by sweaty middle aged men in suits, still boozing on a Thursday night. Classy.

Went to this place last night during the fringe festival. We put our jackets on some seats next to a big group of people who we briefly chatted to and had a laugh with. The group left and took our jackets, mistake or not I wouldn't trust anyone here. Seems like a dingy place that attracts dingy people. Thieves seem to be a common thing here.

Worst bar I have ever been to. Total dive. The place is absolutely rammed so much so that you're propped up without your feet even touching the ground. Surprisingly can easily get served at the bar but holding onto your drink in the crowd is the challenge. The patrons vary massively from groups of young dressed up girls to groups of work colleagues to lechy old men. Not worth the hangover - get yourself a kebab and go home to bed.
