Our stay at the hotel has been great. They room has a mini fridge and microwave which was convenient. The bed was comfortable too. We had breakfast there at the restaurant and it was completely worth the money. The food tasted great and the buffet had a nice selection.

I always have a nice stay here only a few flaws #1 the security officer asked me what room I was staying in because I was smoking a cigarette in the parking lot due to the no smoking rooms he tried to seem like he was doing his job but really it was a bit above and beyond also the police are always parked at the shopping center right by the hotel not that I mind any more but just a heads up good place overall nice shower and the pool is a indoor one ....needs a BBQ though if it has one I could not find it

Everyone is polite, walls are very thin I could hear the guy next door snoring, had to call and request a fridge for my 2 week stay, most of the lights in my room are on a 15 min timer so I had to keep turning them on.windows only open about 4in. House keeping is very nice and are doing a good job. Also for the first few days my floor smelt like a septic tank. This hotel is a 100% no smoking property.

I've stayed here twice, and it's been great. I have nothing to complain about, and I really enjoyed the food from the Ballybunion, the in house bar/restaurant. I stayed there for a business trip, and the internet worked great in my off time for both streaming a game and simultaneously video calling my wife.

On 11/23/2018 I went there looking for a place to stay overnight, the guy at the concierge was probably the worst experience I've ever had in my life regarding lodging. I asked 3 times how much it was to stay at the hotel, and he simply answered that was going to be cheap. He asked for my ID and credit card. After 15 minutes I was still waiting for an answer when I saw him inserting my card into the machine. I inquired him AGAIN how much and he said $175. Right away I told him that he should not have charged my card without my consent. He got really nervous and asked why I gave him my card then. Immediately I told him to void the charge when he said he couldn't do it. I raised my voice asking why he did that without my permission. Then he said he was going to call the police, said that I had no education and told me to get out of there. End of story my card was charged, it hasn't been refunded yet and I had to go somewhere else with my daughter in the car. I have never been so disrespected in a hotel lobby in my life. I will never set my foot on that place again and I recommend whoever is reading this review to do the same.

Absolutely loved this hotel. You cant ask for a better staff. They take away the discomfort of staying in a new place with their attitude and willingness to be of service. I just want to say thank you to the whole staff for the pleasant stay i had.

This is the worst hotel to stay inn and the the GM Paul and the staff was extremely un professional to handle our kids group stayed there today. They would not give breakfast as promised and put my son who had asthma in the cold 8 Degrees weather and spoke rudely.
Please my friends never choose this property....

Dirty sheets and towels. Handprints still on the head board... great. Want to use the jacuzzi they're advertising? Too bad, it's out of service and they're using the pool area to store random maintenance junk. Want to get a simple breakfast like a normal hotel? Too bad, you're going to fork out $16 for a breakfast you'd find at any normal hotel for free. The staff upon arriving acted like they couldn't care less to be there. They acted like any simple request was a major burden, though I did eventually interact with some very nice staff members that seemed to take my concerns seriously. Really hoped Holiday Inn would be better. <br/> It is near a lot of great places to shop and near BART, so that's nice.

$15 for a terrible breakfast buffet that they don't state isn't complimentary. Everything I tasted, they used the cheaper variety. Undercooked potatoes. Slimy scrambled eggs. Stale and flavorless bagel. Unrefigerated cream cheese. Bad coffee. Plus, the room was small and overpriced with outdated decor and facilities. I was very disappointed.

Overall, this Holiday Inn is ok and I will likely stay there again. Walls are a bit thin. Some rooms are a fairly long way from the front desk. Staff has been friendly and helpful during my two stays at this property. Overall, no significant complaints but there are nicer Holiday Inn hotels out there. However, if you need to stay in San Ramon, this is a reasonable choice.

More like a 4 1/2 stars. Typical Holiday inn. Feels like it was another hotel at one point and was refurbished. Still feels a little old. Rooms are comfortable, but there is no thermostat control, so it's hard to set the temp correctly. I will say though that this is the first Holiday Inn that has USB ports in the room. That was good.
Jacuzzi is huge and the jets didn't work very well.

Very disappointed... Upon check in they confused my room with my brothers, charged a different rate for each of us, and were completely confused. After getting into the wrong room, we noticed it was very cold, upon investigation, noticed the window was locked in an open position, and the heater knobs were broken or missing. I called the front desk, and they offered to call me back and place me into a different room, and they would call me back with the room number. I waited for 15 minutes and decided to go to the front desk and get it my self. The next morning after having what I though was a complementary breakfast, I was informed it was $15 for the "Buffet" (cereal, sausage, bacon, potatoes, and eggs). I hate this place, and just help enforce why I refuse to stay at Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Expresses.

It's an older holiday inn which does not appear to have been updated since late 80s. If you are on the highway side.. it's pretty noisy.. travel here for convience or business.
It's nice and close to the highway but otherwise it's expensive for sub standard facilities.
