Very nice hotel. the pool area was very nice as well staff very friendly

Very comfortable and cozy place . The desk clerk she was very kind and attentive to my needs . The bartender is AMAZING he make a great moscato mule . Charming ,interesting and creative bartender . Great place to stay with or without your kids . Nice pool and jacuzzi .they even have special chairs for people who are disabled . The fitness center has everything you need to workout your muscles . Very clean and well maintain . It s close to shopping center . We ate at Wayback burgers that s right around the corner . Fantastic burgers you MUST stop by this place . Thank you holiday inn I had a very pleasant stay .

New hotel so it's physically nice. Due to Covid restrictions, everything is bare bones. Pool is limited to one group so you have to make a reservation. The sign at the pool sums it up for me. Basically this place is average.

Excellent service, comfortable and spacious hygienic rooms, it has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, terrace and above all the excellent service provided by the staff, CONGRATULATIONS .........

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Those are the only pros. The shower was dirty in our first room ( we had to switch rooms ). The first night we tried to shower and the water was freezing cold! Even after letting it run for about 5 minutes. I notified the front desk she said she would find us another room and switch us a hour later never received a call or anything so we took COLD showers and went to bed. The next day tried to shower same thing water was cold, I called the new lady actually switched us rooms, but guess what? That shower water was cold too, it didn t even get warm! They sent someone up idk what he did but it got warm. Then right when he left out the room freezing cold again. The elevators take forever and there is only 4 floors. The walls are so thin you can hear every conversation from the rooms beside you and from people standing in the hallway. For the amount of money I paid, I couldn t even get hot water or a good nights sleep. I would definitely not stay here again.

Very nicely kept and the service was awesome. We performed music for a private party on the roof of the hotel. The food was excellent and the staff was very accommodating and professional

Good relatively new hotel, located in an office area so the night area is very quiet. The rooms are a very good size, with desk, dining table, armchair and sink. It is not very big although if something noisy between floors. The attention is kind. The roof garden is very nice.

This hotel is only about 4 months old and the rooms are very nice and comfortable... at least mine was quite good. I wasn't sure about staying in Milpitas... You know, old landfill and low tide smell not being the most pleasant things to spend long amounts of time inhaling. Honestly other than going to and from the car I didn't notice anything at all. The hotel just smells like a nice new property. The restaurant was surprisingly good as well. If you look up Stratus at this address you will find a couple reviews that are favorable. I would have no problem staying here again and would recommend it to anybody looking for an option on this side of town.

Part 1 of review. I will update at the end of my stay. (Here for a month) It s OK. The front desk staff are very kind and responsive. My major issue with the place is that it is still under construction. Well that and the elevators are incredibly slow and loud for being brand new. I would take the stairs, but there is no access to the lobby from the stairs. You can go down them, but they lead outside. There is no way to walk up stairs to your room. Right now they seem to only have rooms open on the 3rd and 4th floors. I would like to try the restaurant, but I m hesitant as I have never seen anyone in there. Not sure how they could possible have good food standards with almost no customers. room is clean and new, but you can tell construction was done cheaply. Furniture will likely it last long... my desk chair already has a lean to it.

Part 2: well I didn t last the whole month. Had to change hotels after getting attacked by ants. Between that, and what I believe are unsafe elevators (sparking noises from behind the electrical panel and expired temporary permits), I could no longer stay here. The second star remains for the front desk staff. I do not recommend staying here unless you absolutely have to. It is definitely not worth what they are charging.

Enjoyed my stay so much! The hotel made it very special for my boyfriend and I. I asked for some special requests and they were able to fulfill them. The room was so nice and the bed was super comfy. They have a cute rooftop area you can go spend time at.

Ruchi at the front desk was very nice she said to write a review to her so I am.I was sleeping on the sofa bed and it was really comfy and soft I m giving 5 star rating but my breakfast I could not eat because my tooth was hurting but the breakfast was still good.the room was beautiful we loved watching the tv.and we went to the fitness room and we lost a lot of weight there.

New and beautiful hotel.
However, there is no place to shop nearby, so it is inconvenient if there is no car.
A 30-minute walk to nearby Seven-Eleven.
Please be careful if you use on a business trip.

New hotel.. been in milpitas for 1 year only. Nice ambiance! Room smells all new.. nice furnitures. Comfortable..although it's in a secluded place but it's safe and practicing social distance

Hotel staff gave warm welcomes when I arrived. The immediately started seeing where they could help me. Smiles all over and the beautiful lobby with the gas fireplace. They had infused water, mints, apples at the front. The beds are super comfy and rooms are very clean. If you're looking for a nice and friendly hotel with excellent service check them out.

When ever i'm in San Jose this hotels at the top of the list to check with vacancies first great outstanding staff always friendly best thing about the stays the restaurant the salmon is outstanding so a big shout goes out to Angelique Kennedy Exective Chef. Her food definitely keeps me coming back.

Nice place, but there's no microwaves in the rooms, which is a pretty big overcite for a "suite."

Having to go down from the fourth floor to the lobby in order to warm up a meal is quite inconvenient.

Other than that, the staff was warm, welcoming, and friendly.

The rooms are beautiful.

Additionally, the restaurant and bar are both closed. (Covid)

We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel in late December 2019 when we visited the Bay Area. The hotel entrance area is nicely done and the lemon/orange infused water is a nice gesture for the weary newly arrived guests like us. Rooms were spacious, and were well cleaned every day. The reception staff was super helpful, with Miss Ruchi going out of her way to make us feel welcome. Her tip on Indian food joint in Milpitas was super helpful. The other reception staff was extremely cordial during all of our interactions with them. My only complaint would be regarding a rather rude elderly waitress in the restaurant area. However, given our 5 night stay went like a charm, I would give this hotel 5 stars.

Best hotel ever. Had the best sleep ever. There's just something about a brand new hotel knowing that no one else has soiled the sheets as of yet. I think they use down in the pillows. The bathtub was so sparkling clean that I had to wear sunglasses. Almost canceled the rest of my vacation just to stay here. But the show must go on.

Wasted 90 mins on the phone calls with them but couldn't resolve the issue. I wouldn't recommend

Place is nice, but was not told at check in that they would add a 100 to our room until further notice. Then at 130 we were woke up by some kind of altercation from people in the room across the hall that was out in the hall in front of our door. That lasted for an hour and half before they finally shut up and it got quiet again for us to go back to sleep. Hotel is great but people they let stay here is not.

Holiday Inn you have lost a customer for life, due to your price gouging!! Sunday $149, Monday $239 Wednesday $349!! Shame on you!!

Great service with a modern look and feel. Everything was clean and well kept. Sadly at this time the bar is open but on very limited hours.

Breakfast, I was told is not actually complimentary unless your reservation qualifies. My reservation itinerary says free breakfast under amenities, but it is not provided to everyone. This was one of my deciding factors in choosing this hotel so I was disappointed.

I love staying here, their rooms are beautiful an spacious the shower is amazing the beds are so soft its like sleeping in a cloud they're always acomidating to my special requests... the only thing that really bothers me is that there aren't any microwaves in the rooms... they said it was because they've got an on-site restaurant but it's never open when I'm there during the weekends I think it's silly that such a nice hotel does not have microwaves in the rooms

It was new cool and they cared if I was comfortable. The room was like being in my own urban apartment, kind of like my real apt, but better. Purples, blue and blacks used for nice calming effect. Loved everything except women need a mirror to put on makeup that they don't have to lean 2 feet over the sink to see their face. Maybe do like 4 seasons or the Intercontinental where they have a convenient extending makeup mirror on one side? Nice smelling soaps/shampoo. Really loved the super comfy bed and fridge!! Would def stay again! Also loved the very civilized granite table to sip your coffee in morning! Thank you! Ladies at the front desk were all amazing!

Bed super comfy, some kitchen staff really pressed for tips. For the most part most staff are really pleasing and pleasantly happy in their jobs.

I have to take the time and give so much appreciation to the managers of this hotel. We had to stay here for about 4 months total (3 months before the virus and then came back for another month). The 3 months before the virus we were welcomed and had a great stay. They helped us out anytime we needed it. When we came back after about a month of quarantine, it was a totally different experience. It was only the managers and a couple other people who were there running the entire hotel and they made us feel like a part of the family! They helped us feel so comfortable, even through this crazy time! Especially after staying at a couple other hotels in the area, this hotel does not compare at all. Thank you so much for helping our stay be the best it could've been!
