Holiday Inn/opryland Nashville airport Review

Business at the opryland hotel .free shuttle to and back even if it is in walking distance. New construction going on but no problems like usual.

I'm an IHG member and this Holiday Inn was one of the nicest ones I've seen. Newly remodeled. Great location and price.

The room, bed, pillows, shower, and staff were all excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was amazing. The gentleman at the front desk named Donald, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be.

Stay has been nice so far. Friendly staff. Free airport shuttle is a nice perk upon arrival.

Arrived before 3:00 pm, courteous staff said our room was ready. The room was spacious and clean, had a microwave and fridge, and a Keurig. The staff was great through out the stay, even suggesting restaurants for dinner. Used the hotel shuttle to get to and from Opryland Resort. Breakfast was good, area was clean and food was plenty. Location was great for the Opryland Resort, and Opry Mills. Close enough that we decided to walk back from the Resort once. I have zero complaints about this property.

I would have given it 5 stars if we would have gotten the King single I selected when I reserved the room instead the Queen double that they gave us on check in. I know that is considered an availability "option" but I think when I reserve a room type I should get what I reserved just like when you reserve airplane seats you get the seat # you reserved.

Updated bedding, large fluffy towels, and a bountiful breakfast selection compliment the personable and attentive staff. Close to The Nashville Palace (a true Nashville "must go" establishment) Grand Ole Opry, and Opry Mills Mall. It is a definite way to stay and see with comfort!

Room isn't bad but has a musty smell. The pool was extremely cold. Was told it's that way on purpose but I've tra eked a lot and have never had a pool that cold unless it was broken. Staff was nice enough. The fan in the bathroom doesn't work which is always a pet peeve for me. Good location if you are looking to spend time at opryland. Overall not a bad experience but I'd properly look elsewhere next time.

Nice accommodations for a reasonable price in Nashville where the average now seems to be around $350-400 downtown.

Nice hotel and staff. Breakfast buffet good. The Holiday inn shuttle took you to serveral places. There was also a shuttle you could take downtown for $10 round trip, cash only. I'd definitely stay there again.

Super nice AND affordable accommodations in Nashville!!

Got in around 1:30am but were greeted like it was morning! Staff was very nice, pleasant, and helpful. It was out first time in Nashville and we were given great advice as to where to go and what to eat. Would for sure stay here again. Plus, very close to downtown!

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Free hot breakfast including pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon... Nice Lobby with plenty of space to get work done. Really big pool compared to many of the other holiday inns I've stayed in Walking distance to Opryland Gardens. Little farther to walk to the mall but not out of the question. Couple of fun bars with music a couple Doors Down.

We were in town for a USMC reunion. The hotel staff was accommodating and polite. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was great. The pancake maker was awesome. I can not say enough good thing about our stay! Thank you!

Breakfast was great and staff was very friendly. Shuttle to Opryland Convention Center was also very convenient as I was here for a conference. Very clean rooms.

Good position for Grand Ole Opry. Poor quality breakfast but it is free.

Centrally located. Easy access to Opryland & Opry Mills. Shuttle to downtown, letting you off right on Broadway. Rooms are clean, bathrooms need a fan 'cuz after a shower, the whole room gets muggy. Breakfast included.

very nice rooms, but we left some stuff behind and called twice to see if the housekeeping could make sure it was there still and never got a response, either the head house keeping is too lazy responding or they threw our stuff away which would be horrible because it contained brand new toys! hotel policies state to keep peoples belongings for up to 60 days. other than that breakfast was wonderful, the pool was closed and the people we pretty friendly

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express. I was visiting for the first time for a Sorority conference. The hotel is very nice. The rooms were comfortable, clean and modern and the staff was phenomenal. I have to give a special shout out to Cayce, Kelleen and Terry. They were truly amazing and pleasant to work with. They got us back and forth from the Gaylord via shuttle and never complained even though they had to make several trips. They were truly the definition of southern hospitality. I also loved the hot breakfast every morning. The hotel isn't that far from the airport and it's a short walk from the Gaylord Opryland resort. You can also walk to a few places nearby to eat.

All double queen rooms with the exception of 2 king rooms. 5 floors. Indoor, heated pool. Goes to 5 feet. Tiny gym with 3 pieces of equipment. Free breakfast. Standard tubs in room, no soaker tubs (except the 2 king rooms). Fridge and microwave in room but no safe. Cleanliness can be improved. Next door to a gas station and across the street from the gaylord.

Clean well managed hotel close to Opry Mills and the Opry

The hotel was better than average but I have to give only two stars for the quality of sleep I was able to get. I've never slept in a hotel bed so terrible. The bed was very lumpy feeling and every time I rolled over springs were popping. I would never stay here again since I wasn't able to sleep soundly and left with an aching back.

Only issue is that downtown parking costs are ridiculously over-priced in Nashville, so Uber is actually a fair option..

Staff was nice. Breakfast was good. The bed really sucked. Didn't get a good sleep. It's in a good location. Close to alot of stuff to do and eat.

The internet was slow. The TV was old, small and the cable went out on us. The breakfast was good, people were friendly, parking lot was easily accessible and well lit. Bed was comfortable. Overall a good hotel.

The overall of this hotel was ok. The free continental breakfast was great. The rooms were nice and comfy. The front desk clerks were very friendly and nice. The only downfall of the stay was that while our vehicle was in the parking lot it was broken into and we had very valuable items stolen. Security cameras are pretty terrible and although we seen the videos of them stealing the cameras couldn t detect a license plate number or vehicle description. Although that did happen, and on our honeymoon at that the hotel was nice. We d orobabky stay again.

Canceled our rooms even though we told them it would be a very late check in and charged us the rooms and then filled the rooms. This hotel has always given us trouble everytime we try and book there.

New, clean & comfortable, I enjoyed the view of the lake out back. Just wish that had a fresher breakfast option and an evening bar and on-site dining.

A little pricey for a Holiday Inn Express, but I can honestly say that this is the best HIE I've ever stayed in.

I stayed here during the pandemic during the stay at home order. It was a great place very clean, accommodating with beautiful people at the front. We only left to work & come straight back to the room. They made what was a scary unusual circumstance into a pleasurable experience. I will definitely stay here again. Great place!

My daughter and I stayed June 16th. Woke up Sunday with bites all over me. Had to go to urgent care Monday because one of the bites was in my belly button and got infected. They say no pets are allowed. It was either fleas or bed bugs and fleas don t get in your belly button. Won t be going back. Room 209.

This was the worst Holiday inn express I ever stayed at room smelled like a bar

Front desk and staff were fantastic couldn't have treated you any nicer room service Maids didn't speak English but spoke a language I understand and they didn't clean the rooms like they were supposed to they were trash they didn't do things like they were supposed to they tried to say we did things that we didn't do I wouldn't want to stay here again if I had to

This hotel is excellent! Very clean, comfy beds, great selection on breakfast eggs scrambled boiled eggs pancakes cinnamon rolls sausage bacon biscuits and gravy. The coffee was very good .Great location near shopping restaurants There's a shuttle bus that takes you to the Gaylord resort and a bus that takes you downtown! Check in was very smooth and easy Very friendly staff I highky recommend this hotel

Excellent location but terrible staff that didn't honor online booking prices, rooms were not worth what they charge.

Comfy bed and room. No exhaust fan in bathroom so room gets muggy after a shower. Breakfast was awesome as usual. Pool was under maintenance.....of all the times I actually remembered my bathing suit and I can't use it

Had reservation and they over sold so had to wait 3 hours for room. Manager had a I don't care attitude.

Was very nice. Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Requested a late checkout with no problem. Breakfast was good with a lot of different choices. Will stay there again when in Nashville.

After a very long day of travel, I checked into an area hotel with my family around midnight. It did not take long to realize we had chosen the wrong hotel. I called Rica at Holiday Inn Express & Suites. I explained the situation. She was very kind and accommodating and secured a room for us immediately at a terrific rate. When I walked in the doors of the Holiday Inn, I felt like I was "home." Our stay so far has been great. HUGE improvement over the other area hotel! Thanks for your great service to weary travelers, Rica, and Holiday Inn!

Under remodeling right now, but STILL ONE OF MY FAVORITES!!!! Manager is Super Smart & Nice!!! Very Nice, larger than most Indoor Pool!!
All my favorites places right there on McGavich Pike...Opry Mills Mall , The Grand Ole Opry, John A's, Scoreboard restaurants & the Gaylord Hotel ( now owned by Marriott) that you can stroll & dine at.
I have stayed here going on 6 to 7 years, with satisfactory experiences. Go See for Yourself
