Holiday Inn/opryland Nashville airport Review

I would definitely recommend using this hotel if you're visiting Nashville. Everything still looks and feels very new. My wife and I stayed in a standard king size room and it was quite large. In addition to the bed, there was a comfy chair by the window and also a couch, coffee table, and desk. Everything was extremely clean. Plenty of parking.

You're walking distance to the Grand Ole Opry area. You're also right on a freeway for an easy drive to other parts of the city.

The hotel offers a great breakfast. They have healthy options like wheat bread, oatmeal, and yogurt. On the other hand, they also have fresh cinnamon buns, pancakes, bacon, sausage, and biscuits with gravy. The breakfast area is quite large but both days we were there most tables were taken.

The hotel offers free wifi and has a flat screen HDTV in each room. The wifi isn't all that fast especially when other people are logged on. It's okay for doing something like checking your email. Downloading larger files or watching Netflix won't likely be an option. We got about 30 TV channels, a handful of which were high definition.

I am Spire Elite and we stay only in IHG hotels.
Overall the hotel is great location and nicely renovated.

Here is the biggest problem we had.
The mattress was as hard as a rock!
Stayed two nights and our backs are killing us! I my need to good to the chiropractor now!
