For the second time now, Holiday Inn has exhibited...

For the second time now, Holiday Inn has exhibited such poor customer service and refusal to remedy issues that I will no longer stay at a Holiday Inn. Note - I experienced this poor treatment as a Gold Elite Club Member. There are many other hotels with just as good, if not better, rewards programs as well as stellar customer service. I know this for a fact, I'm a club member with them, too.

The place is clean and I do love the fact that it s new with a great breakfast. It s a little bit off the beaten path, but it s a great choice outside of the downtown Nashville. Give it a shot!

Really great Holiday Inn. Super clean, beautiful lobby, and great rooms. Everything in the rooms looks modern and well taken care of. Breakfast is the same selection as most Holiday Inn Expresses, but the food is consistently hot and well prepared.

Clean rooms not sure I liked being told the the pancake machine was closed 30-45 min prior to breakfast close time. She seemed fairly nice and made sure the place was taken care of but if I am going to spend over $150 a night then I want to have access to all breakfast items. Just saying.

I was very disappointed. Room smelled of mildew. Looks as if this hotel needs a makeover. Carpet throughout the hotel had water stains and looked dirty. I would have changed hotels if it wasn't so late when I checked in.
Clerk was helpful but nothing she could do about it.
Courtesy grab & go breakfast could at least include an apple or some sort of fruit.
It wasn't worth my $100 in my opinion. (They discounted $9)

Super friendly helpful staff on our stay. We had to get a room for one night last minute and they were super accommodating and let us check in early. The shuttle to the airport is super convenient. Our room was comfortable and very clean, my only complaint would be there is deffinitely some things that could be cleaned/replaced/. Carpets in the lobby, hallways, and the elevator were noticeably stained and dirty which I understand with a lot of traffic but it doesn't give the best impression.

The hotel is easy to find and in a good location, however, it is an old hotel. and even though it was renovated, it still shows many signs of the past. The hotel is not maintained well, leaves from last fall are still on the balconies, inside courtyard has no landscaping. The outside pool is rather small and not as clean as I would want, I did not smell any chlorine, and it had lots of bugs and leaves floating in it. The water in the pool was as hot as soup. The rooms were clean, but the drain in our room was clogged so by the time we were done shower, we were wading in our dirty water up to our knees. The best part was the bed and the breakfast. The bed was very comfy, and I slept great. The breakfast had a nice variety and it was delicious. The check out was seamless. Little too pricey for what we got. The staff was friendly.

Very friendly staff. Acknowledged our kids who were standing with us. Room was clean and overall was quiet enough for us. We even left at 430am to catch a flight and the person at the desk said to have a good day. Was not expecting that at 430!

Staff was friendly. First room that was given was not ready but the front desk quickly fixed the problem and assigned us another room. Room was cool and refreshing on a hot Nashville day. Comfortable beds. It was a pleasant stay.

My stays have been great until I find out that my fire stick won t work on these TVs for some unknown lazy reason (front desk will not try to help me solve the issue, when I called they just simply said that it will not work).

The shuttle driver Crystal is the highlight of the day, she s incredibly personable and friendly! Thank you Crystal, it s because of you that we keep coming back!

Ps: The shower drain is clogged and takes a while for the water to drain. I will let the front desk know after I check out tomorrow.

Update: 2 more stars because Darius let me borrow the TVs original remote and I was able to change the TV s input signal. (Thank you Darius for helping me solve my issue, and for not dismissing it and saying that it simply will not work).

Do Not Stay Here! After staying in a wonderful Holiday Inn in Alabama for a funeral we had to make a mad dash to Nashville to catch our return flight to Montana. I thought Holiday Inn was just really nice so I would book another one. We got to the hotel and there were only 5 cars in the parking lot, already a bad sign. Got into the lobby to a large television blaring a movie showing a gang initiation fight with no one around. Stood waiting at the desk and no one came around from the office. I knocked, called hello and waited. My son came in a few minutes later and dud the same and the lady finally came out with headphones in her ears. Not welcoming at all. Checked us in and walked back in the back. The 1st room she checked us into was dirty, carpet not vacuumed, crackers on the floor under the bed, no comforters in the duvet cover. The bathroom looked moldy under the sink and there was something gross smeared on the wall next to the bed. I went back to the desk and asked politely if the room was the way it was supposed to be and asked about the comforters being missing and the lady seemed affronted and said "oh you want blankets on the bed?". When I said it looked like the room hadn't been cleaned and mentioned the things we saw in the room, crud on the wall, dirty carpet, crackers under the bed, she was even more affronted and said she didn't rent out dirty rooms and asked if I wanted a different room. I asked please to get a new room and collected my family. The 2nd room has no comforters again, dirty floors in the bathroom, water damage on the exterior wall and the empty duvet cover on one bed looks stained. Did I mention a yellow stained towel hanging on the towel bar in the 1st room?. I'm not usually super picky, I don't complain, I am usually grateful for a nice place to rest. This is NOT a nice hotel. Its dark, unkempt and way over priced. Again, no breakfast, probably due to covid concerns but this was definitely not worth $123 plus whatever other fees and taxes they are going to charge me. If they hadn't already charged my card, I would escape to a better hotel.

Room was o.K. but the t.v. reception was little to none, told me it was due to the weather, so if you don't mind watching about 5 channels you are good, t.v. worked fine in the lobby... bed was comfortable but needs updating, burn holes in a non smoking room and was musty when we walked in...thank goodness for my Lysol...stayed during pandemic so I couldn't give any reviews on food...to go bags for breakfast which was good under the circumstances, no laundry facilities either...good place to rest your head if that's all you need, staff was pleasant.

Nobody at front desk to get a soda stood there for 10 minutes and nobody there. Also called and asked if they had a shuttle to airport and was told they did but not for a 6am departure earliest is 5:05am. If I knew that prior I wouldn t have stayed there. This place is no customer friendly at all period.

Overcrowded parking lot. Mentioned it to the front desk who shrugged and said we're full this weekend. No suggestions so cars parking in grass and on sidewalks. Inattentive front desk staff who were eating breakfast while at the desk while helping guests. Not a big deal, but also did not welcome me as a Platinum member as other chains do . Dirty tables at breakfast buffet. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. I've stayed at this location before without any issues but this weekend was not a great experience.

went to this hotel and received a bad customer service. We asked the african american lady if they have a room available with a state employee discount-without checking the computer and while talking on her bluetooth earpiece while supposedly helping us... she said no and turned around and left the counter. How rude! We ended up staying at another holiday inn express on spencer circle which the customer service we received from Roger was great and professional. The express inn by the airport maybe in a better neighborhood BUT the professionalism and customer service is really poor.

Do not reccomend. The best I can say is that the bed was comfortable. Ac ran very loud! Walls were paper thin and could hear toilets flushing constantly. There was no do not disturb sign in our room to hang on door, so housekeeping tried to come in 3 different times starting at 8:30 am even though we kept telling them no thanks . We were only there a night and Check out is 11am- most similar hotels give you until 12. When we opened door to check out a giant spider ran in. Yuck!

Rooms were new and clean, house keeping was a bit late of taking out the used towels and trash. Strange that the bathrooms didn't have an exhaust fan, they got pretty steamy and the humidity lingered in the room. The staff was nice, and continental breakfast was a plus. It's a nice location not too far from downtown.

I love Holiday Inn Expresses. Never had a problem. I was extremely disappointed in this specific location. We got there our thermostat did not work properly, shower drain was clogged up, we even found mold on our pillows! To make matters worse we returned back to our room after an eventful night in Nashville only to find our room was a mess with no towels. Housekeeping never cleaned our room. So at 1am when we asked the front desk for towels we were told we'd have to wait until 2am when the housekeeper would return from her break. It as a nightmare. I will never stay at this hotel ever again.

Nice looking facility inside and out conviently located close to the airport. The staff was as courteous and helpful as expected - this is an IHG strong point. The room reserved was not available when I arrived and the upcharge for it was on the agreement I signed when checking in. The room I was given did not contain the King Bed I paid extra for and was located on the first floor right next to the ice and beverage machine - which I heard periodically through the evening. The room was also located on the first floor which makes my wife very uneasy, great start to the trip for her...Not. Between the pronounced sound of the airplanes taking off and the doors on the floor slamming shut, I could not fall asleep until absolutely exhausted. The HIE product needs some work IHG before I will willingly chose to stay at another one.

Motel smelled like an dirty wet animal as soon as you entered the building. As we walked to our room the hall was dark. Upon opening our door of our room it had a strong cat urine smell. Within 30 to 40 minutes my husband and I was broke out with red itchy skin like hives. Went to front desk he offered us another room on another floor. We went to look at it and it was even worst than the room we had. Staff not very friendly. If you don't want to stay where you smell dirty animals don't stay here. We will not be back. Sadly disappointed for a Holiday Inn Express. Worst ever.

Sheets were staind and had hair on them when we arrived. Hallways and elevator has dirty staind carpet. Check in took a long time. Breakfast food was just ok. Easy drive to downtown and attractions. Pricy for features and hotel quality.

I was pissed off that it took 50 minutes for the shuttle service. When we arrived they told us 15minutes,waited 30 minutes called again then told any minute. Why lie to us we would have gotten an Uber ! Get your times straight !

Giving two stars because the staff is friendly and free breakfast decent. Rooms are dated and dirty. I had a room with sliding door and balcony. Rain soaked the carpet through closed door. Woke up with bites on my legs and saw a couple cockroaches or bedbugs in the bathroom. Nasty. Keep looking. You can do better for the money.
