I did not like, to access with the car and to leave is a disaster, you have to go around the hotel several times to access from Ghent, it looks like a maze. The only good thing is that to go downtown you have a tram stop nearby.

For a stopover quite well suited. Getting to the Expo site is awkward. Rather three stars than four. Very extensive buffet for breakfast. Parking at the hotel, but costs extra. Very friendly staff.
Decent hotel, clean and tidy. Furniture a bit on the outdated side but nothing unexpected. Horror to find your way in through the comically weird street around though.
The breakfast was not bad, but not included in the rate. Parking fee was not explained upon check-in, the staff simply gave me several vouchers to use and said I can come back to get more if they ran out. But the parking fee was never brought up. Found out only upon check out, but what can I do?
Good sound hotel for business trips and other not long trips. In room hairdryer, iron, ironing board, trouser press. Delicious, reasonably varied breakfast. To the city center about 15-20 minutes by tram 1.
Clean and nice hotel. The food is great, maybe a bit pricy. They could maybe have added some simpler dishes to the menu.. Breakfast is excellent. Great parking facilities. The overall place looks a bit tired. It's got that 90's look and feel. Easily accessible by car. I recommend it.
3 stars for a 4 star hotel. The rooms are relatively big for a hotel in Gent. Also the breakfast and the staff is quite good! Some disadvantages is the age of the equipment and the noisy air condition (experience with 2 rooms).
Rooms were well equipped and clean but maintenance of equipment was absent. The air-conditioning did not work and a sign on the window asking not to open due to mosquitoes meant the room was very stuffy. The wardrobe door was broken and glass on door cracked. The sofabed was very uncomfortable. Some of the lamps did not work. The buffet breakfast was very good with a wide selection.
bad experience in this hotel, must also honestly say that I arrived late in the evening and got another available room. single room, loose hair in the bathroom, wallpaper that comes loose from the walls, dirty spots on the carpet, barrel hanging crookedly, former drill holes in the wall (which wss hung something on). I hope that due to the later arrival I got a lesser room in Gwn .. very friendly night staff, helped me a lot. unfortunately the room leaves something to be desired ..
Not a great hotel but passable for a couple of nights. Outdated rooms with not enough outlets. The restuarant was needlessly expensive and not worth the price. The rooms were clean though and the staff very friendly. The walls are also very thin and we could hear the drunk neighbors down the hall.
Roomy, nice & helpful staff, currently some construction sites nearby. Unfortunately lies directly at an expo biotope, therefore many mosquitoes in the room. The breakfast buffet is sensationally good, the pricing unfortunately not: in a double room surcharge for breakfast only 5EUR (sum), subsequent booking of breakfast 15EUR per guest for the same service. Actually pure rip-off.
Last weekend of July we booked a stay in holliday inn to shop in Ghent. This hotel is an excellent base from which to spend a great time in a carefree way in this beautiful city. Value for money this is the best hotel we have ever visited in Ghent. Excellent and extensive breakfast. Parking at an affordable price. Tram 5 minutes walk. Friendly staff. Our next stay in Ghent will start and end here
Easy to reach by car, less clear to reach by bicycle. Good reception and beautiful presentation of conference rooms. Beautifully presented and tasty catering. Professional organization.
The hotel was okay, for its 4 star I would have expected a bit more, as far as the food prices it was very overpriced, as you should rather in the city looking for a nice restaurant, as the hotel is a bit out of the way but the possibility of there from the tram to the city center, the tram stop iss very easy to reach on foot, is about 5 minutes away from the hotel. As for the parking, the hotel has its own parking lot where you as a guest a little discounted parking. Unfortunately have only a photo of the breakfast buffet
Good location, friendly staff. Staff kindly arranged for gluten free meal for me even though it wasn't on the menu. The rooms are maintained clean though due for renovation.
The breakfast is good and that was it. rooms are way too hot. Room next to the mini gym is a disaster. Because who goes into the gym at 21:00 in the evening or 6:30 in the morning. Noise from the devices can be heard clearly.
Showering also brings little pleasure with 3 drops per minute. Radius is very limp, too limp to wash with a lot of hair.
Room rate is way too high for what you get. The price can be reduced by half.
It is also not possible to check in from 14:00, which is indicated. Arrived at 15:00, room not ready. Takes another hour. We returned at 4.30pm and not finished yet. At 4:45 pm a complaint was filed at the reception and only a lame excuse. Very bad service.
Food is overpriced. Very poor and small menu. The whole building looks like it needs to be taken cared of. The furniture inside the room needs to be replaced (either broken or in bad condition). As a whole the rooms should be updated, we re not in the 2000s anymore. The whole experience felt odd and not deserving of 4 stars. Actually recently found out that my bed s sheet had blood on them. So that s comforting :)
Pleasant coworkers Breakfast good Used for stopover. Well suited for this. Baby cot can be added. Had a family room. It's tight, but it was enough for one night. Rooms are clean.
Hotel is nice, it is on the outscirts of gent, but has a tram next to it that will take you into the city. Only wish it had a free breakfast, 17.50 per person seemed a little expensive.
Good 4 star hotel in the Ghent exhibition area, modern, comfortable, clean, with good space in the rooms A good breakfast and a young, efficient and helpful staff. Suitable for business trips. Located 25 minutes from the center by tram
Not the best experience: first we had booked a double room and ended up sleeping in 2 single beds. Then we were forced to pay 10 euros a day for parking. Plus the 3 euro tourist tax. Cost of booking on booking: 111 euros. Final total: 127 euros x one night, without breakfast.
The AC in the room works fantastically, which after some recent experiences almost qualifies this place 5 stars.
The buffet on offer for dinner provides enough diversity and the drinks selection should have everyone covered.
Only downside for me; the fitness room or "mini-gym" is quite disappointing. The kit is out-dated, but you can certainly work some large muscle groups, which I suppose is good enough when you're away on business.
