Good rooms, kind stuff, great food but no smoking area

Decent HI, rooms a little tired. Not sign posted well from motorway. Even Satnav struggled.

Expensive, breakfast not included ( 17 if you want it), rooms with carpeted floors, a source of trouble for the respiratory tract, noisy and non-adjustable air conditioner. If you come into the rooms that face inwards the windows are blocked, or the air conditioning is suffocated or suffers. For the rest, well ....

Old fashioned rooms and equipment, bar was closed during opening hours. Breakfast was quite poor. Worst 4* hotel I had ever been to

Very large room, everything was super clean and the breakfast was very varied.

Background noise (air conditioning?) All night long. Bad bedding. Despite the impeccable staff, a hotel to flee urgently!

Closed parking. Easily accessible by car and public. Nice junior suite for room price was possible. Ideal for having business meetings. Good value for money. Decent brunch.

Meeting room was neat and tidy but not as up-to-date, somewhat outdated with tapis plain. Hotel itself is very well kept and clean, you can choose your pillow according to hardness. Breakfast very well cared for

Large parking lot, buffet for large groups, a star deduction because I could not pay the restaurant bill for water at the front desk !!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Tram is only a five minute walk, and you can buy tickets from the hotel reception. You do have to pay for parking at the hotel but this is at the reduced rate. Hotel could do with updating a little but overall a positive stay.

Room was nice and clean, breakfast buffet was also nice, however the mini fitness was very lacking and the style of the rooms didn't really please me. All in all, had a good night's sleep, but nothing special.

Great structure with a large and very special lunch area, excellent for meetings. Excellent European breakfast but very expensive .... The newest are charged 10 euros per night for parking !!!!. Newer rooms, very quiet.
Bathtub with shower with difficult access especially for those with mobility problems.

It is 25 minutes away from the center of Ghent by coach.
It is good for those who have a car and intend to move, it is close to the motorway. High prices, but with an offer the price was reasonable

Nice hotel but far from the center very complicated to find the entrance

Very well located right next to the tram to leave the car and go downtown. Very clean and a great buffet. The only fault is the bathtub and the shower curtain, this should be changed or put a screen, the shower curtain is unhygienic.

Acceptable hotel if you have to be at the expo, but otherwise there are better options in Ghent for that price.

Good for visiting the expo, but a pain to get to. Road signage should be better. Hotel is not in the city centre. Trams operate between hotel and city centre.

Certainly not recommended! We stayed one night in connection with a nice weekend Christmas market Ghent (center). The noise is not hard, it seemed like there was a hardcore house party next to or above us. Called the front desk a few times and would do something about it, not! Then dressed and went downstairs myself and get a story at the reception, unfortunately this was the sound (penetrating hum) of the ventilation system and this could not be remedied.

Very friendly and helpful service, clean comfortable room

Very nice hotel, very nice staff. The day we arrived with a TV problem in our room, the butler did not hesitate to ask us if we wanted to change, I would recommend and stay there for sure.

Breakfast additionally paid and for the price - 15 EUR is not interesting. Very poor WiFi, but a plus that free without vouchers

Great hotel, a bit dated. Perfect location opposite the Flanders Expo!

Restaurant adequate. Staff reception good. Bar staff could be a bit smoother, but friendly. "Mini fitness" space doesn't really add anything. All in all, a great place for overnight stays during a trade fair!

Everything okay but a bit mature atmosphere. Interior looks old-fashioned. Music a little too loud for a conversation in the lobby.

Clean rooms and a friendly service and reception. The only flaw was the scrambled eggs. For the money I would have been fresh made rather than from the tetra pack. But otherwise rich

A little away from the center but with a good combination

We thought it was nice. I've seen lots of complaints about it needing updating but can't see a problem myself.

Hotel outside the center and therefore easily accessible by car. Smooth tram connection to the center. Neat rooms and smooth service.

Hotel was reasonable, room was nice. Their gym was lacking in equipment. However the on-site restaraunt was really good. Amazing food (pretty pricey) and not too much choice but they nailed steaks/ lamb shanks- cooked perfectly. Also the waiter was great, super friendly and had a good conversation.

A little out of town but easy to get to, staff were friendly and spoke very good English

No frills hotel with a bar, and restaurant
both of which I didn't try. The WiFi was fast but the TV in my room didn't work, the view from my window was of the Ikea parking lot and the shower water oscillated between too hot and too cold.

Getting in and out of the hotel by car was if not challenging at the very least confusing, as in order to do so you must first get past a ring of roads called "The Loop" which should really be called "The Maze".

So let me just break it down for you, to get in, make your way to the center of the loop, get past the first exit for Ikea parking and then be watchful for and follow the small holiday inn signs.

To get out, ignore your GPS directions and just follow signs for E-40.

Well located, 20min by tram to the city center. Next door to ikea.

Beds were comfortable but the double bed was small for 2 persons. Sofa was kind of wierd (may be broken )

Breakfast was very good. Dont miss the fresh wafels :) and you can add toping of your choice.

The only negative point parking is not free Its an open air paking and there is plenty of space outside and in a remote location.

Nice place but together roads around it are a nightmare. Needs better signage!

Good for 1 night cons is no modern hotel windows inside can not open especially if you are used to sleeping altyd with window open. For charging mobile phone or tablet and you turn off the light, you also interrupt the power.

Handy for meetings and training. Tasty lunch and desserts.

It's very good!! Although it is not in the center ... you have a tram 1 that takes you straight to the center. We would have liked to be a little closer but the quality / price was second to none

It was well placed for tram into gent the hotel was clean and food was good staff where very helpfull the rooms where clean and well equipped

Far from the center but there is the train near the Hotel that leads to the center. Very good hotel with a varied breakfast.

It s awful to stay with the group for one night. The teammates passed the picture and the refrigerator door that the cabinet door fell down could not be closed. I noticed that there were only two small elevators in the 40 rooms of the whole building. The identification of the safety ladder is unknown. important. The room is not very good. Very old

Stayed 4 days. Dinner for vegetarians is not really wide. 1 kind and not further. Slept well.

Good hotel with exquisite food, the perfect room in terms of cleanliness and atmosphere, breakfast super good and plentiful. The city of Ghent one of the most beautiful that I've seen.

Friendly ladies at the reception. The free sweets provide a warm welcome. Also friendly and helpful man behind the counter. Orderly and tidy rooms, only the bathroom looks a bit outdated (faucet in bathtub). The bath stop also does not close properly. That is why people have to be creative to keep the water in the bath. It is positive that there is a bath at all.
Tasty and rich breakfast. You can also bake your own wafers ...

Food service was slow, and the portion sizes we're ridiculously huge, pretty bland, and not cheap

Somewhat far from the city you need to travel to the tram, bus or private car. A 3 day or 5 day ticket to the commas is a good option

For a good night's sleep, we will discover breakfast.
