Clean comfortable and affordable place to stay! Booked online thru one of the travel websites and got a great price! At check in I was upgraded to an even better room because the room that I had just booked was unavailable! So it was def was a plus getting that bigger room at no additional cost.
Not as nice as I thought it would be for the price. Split height floor seemed useless and waste of space. Only a little patch of carpet next to the bed. Housekeeping could do better because my feet were dirty from walking around barefoot. Water doesn't get thay warm and the AC will only cool the room to 67 degrees.
Only one star because I had to, booked through booking.com paid for the room and everything as I ve done for numerous other weekend trips. Got here to check in and was told they didn t have my room. I called booking.com and they said it seemed it was never confirmed by hotel. Even though it was booked two months in advance, and they had called twice about canceling our Friday night, we were told the only way we could cancel was if we got a room with one bed instead of two...Sounds like they had the reservation then??? I told them no I would keep everything the same. Nothing was canceled or changed. The lady at the front had no care at all. Nor any desire to help. Another lady walked in behind me to get her room, she booked through Priceline. She was told they didn t have her room because her card was canceled so she lost the room. Upon checking with other hotels we found out this has happened to many people this weekend. It seems they found out the hotel was in high demand due to dance comp. The prices were increased, and many of us who booked in advanced were cancelled. Three hours from home, All hotels around where we need to be are booked. We had to stay further away and pay for another hotel. Would NOT recommend this place.
I stayed there last weekend the reception her names start with a W she work in the morning! Not nice she charged my son card twice and i ask her to charge my card, she never said sorry she said its my fault very rude! Hotel definitely needs better house keeping rooms not very clean.
I felt like we were discriminated against our race. We booked a room online, and they accepted my payment. When I arrived in person individuals were NOT welcoming; including the receptionist. They made my family and I feel like we didn t belong! The receptionist informed me that I could not check in, because of a third party situation, and my card had been denied. I asked the receptionist what can I do to resolve the matter; she said she doesn t know. The only smile we received was when the receptionist told us she is sorry, and to try across the street at Comfort Suites. Luckily; Hampton Inn accepted us, and the SAME form of payment.
After having a bad experience with Baymont Inn around the corner and another Holiday Inn in Columbia I decided to give this one a try. The receptionists that we encountered were nice. Our first room was dirty, especially the bathroom, but the second room was good. I wish there was more table/desk space for children to be able to eat at. I love the remodeling of the place, all the lights and sockets, the spaciousness of the room and the comfort of the beds. I'm not sure if the lobby was part of the remodeling but it needs an update, or maybe just some better decor and a deep cleaning. The breakfast was good cinnamon rolls, sausage patties, scrambled eggs served in a to-go plate and coffee/juice/milk. I expected the pool to be like the one at Holiday Inn in Atlanta but it was nowhere near the same. I called before booking to find out if it was a heated pool and was told that it was. The pool was cold and non-chlorinated. Even though the pool (the only reason that I chose this hotel) wasn't up to par I'd still stay here again in the future.
Really nice. Clean building, friendly young lady at the front desk. Clean room with my suitcase at the dividing wall. You step down to the bed area.
I originally had a reservation at candle wood suites. I was literally 5 minutes from away from checking in when the Gm of candlewood called and said their was an issue w their property and she made me a reservation at holiday inn express. I walked into holiday inn and told Beth what them from candlewood said. The Gm from candlewood NEVER MADE MY RESERVATIONS SMH. Beth went above and beyond to accommodate me and got me checked in quickly. We were traveling w an 8yr old and a 4yr old. I've worked in the industry yrs ago and was a great of front desk as well as great of hskp. It was unprofessional for the Gm at candlewood to flat out lie to me. Beth was amazing professional and kind.
Unbelievable!!!!! I am a wedding planner and I cannot count how many emails, calls, and texts I have sent over the last couple of weeks to try to set up a room block for a bride-to-be. I finally got a proposal from Bianca containing only a price...no contract...no terms. Emailed at least four times, maybe even five times with very simple yes or no questions. No response. My client physically went by the hotel on her way to work two days ago, was told I could call or text Bianca. I called, straight to voicemail. Texted...no response. Called again today, straight to voicemail. I am just APPALLED at the lack of customer service!!! I would think hotels would want to be making money right now!!! Your hotel just missed out on at least 20 rooms.
We really enjoyed our stay rooms was excellent and bed was very comfortable didn't expect the room to be that big but we had a blast in there will definitely stay here again..
