There was mold on the walls. Vent above the door sounded like running water all night. Tub was clogged. While hanging out at the bar at 2 am a guest was waiting to get a room and when he came in the bar, the person who was supposed to be at the front desk was sitting at the bar the whole time. Also called in the morning for room service and no one answered so we called the front desk and was told they would call us. We never received a call.

So TERRIBLE. I will never stay here again. Band that plays loudly- windows vibrating loud-until 11 p.m. You would think management would take a hint from the 4 people listening to the band versus the hundreds of people who come to their hotel to actually sleep who cant. Dirty bathrooms with a shower that won't drain. I can't believe I have 2 more nights here. Tomorrow I will spend time out of my vacation to try to find a new hotel and get a refund. Absolutely awful.

I was traveling back home from touring the New England coast line and came upon this Holiday Inn at 2am. I have always been a loyal Holiday Inn customer above other hotels as my experience was always good. I stopped with the intent to grab a few hours of sleep before hitting the road again. When I approached the counter, the customer service rep. was playing on an electronic device and acted as though I was bothering him. To sum up his attitude he was very rude. When he finally gave me the room rate, he said $131. I told him that seemed kind of steep and he said they only had 3 rooms left due to a wedding party which caused the increased rate. I was not trying to get something for nothing, but at 2am the room rate is increased? This was a hotel along the highway...not in a downtown tourist area. Just very disappointing that he couldn t do something. Needless to say I walked.

Probably one of my favorite Holiday Inn Expresses! The staff was AMAZING, they did everything BUT bend over backward, lol. The fire pit outside was a fantastic touch and a great way to end our evening. The bartender was also very accommodating. Thank you all for a great stay. Oh and the room was SUPER NICE!

Breakfast, not so good hot items were cold, donuts and pastries were stale, gym tv not working, treadmill not working as it should, no drinking water, and water overflowing at the cooler, machine not plugged in and cord laying across the floor, which was a safety problem. Bathroom door in room was very noisy. I think you have some problems to deal with.

We stopped by this Holiday inn because we are getting married in the area and wanted information on some of the near by hotels to potentially direct our guests to. We were very impressed with how fancy the lobby was with a beautiful chandelier and double stairs. The Woman who talked to us about how blocks worked was very nice, helpful and enthusiastic. She was able to give a very appealing pitch for booking with them and using their built in bar/club for our after party. Even if we do not use them for our wedding, I would definitely be interested in staying there in the future

Stayed for 1 night. Some front staff were pleasant and some not. I was told late check out was not available by 1 staff and give late check-out by another after learning that someone in my party was offered that. I attended a wedding at this venue. Bathroom was small and room was as pictured online. The bed was comfortable. Hallway noise could be heard in the room.

The hotel is very nice. The lobby was gorgeous and provided an excellent first impression. There was ample parking. The room was very large and clean, with very nice decor as well.

The staff at the front desk was very pleasant and were quick to respond to any of my questions. The bartender in the club was great and provided fast service.

The hotel loses a star for two reasons:

1. The beds. They were incredibly uncomfortable- I woke up with back pain on both nights I stayed here.

2. Breakfast service. Both days the breakfast bar seemed to be understaffed and had too many guests. Food was constantly running out. It may serve them well to have more staff and a quicker refilling schedule.

Overall I would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I were traveling to New York and we needed to stop before we got to the city for the night. Clinton seemed to be close to where we wanted to be so we looked online and decided this hotel would be a good spot for a good price. Unfortunately I cannot write a review for the hotel itself because we never made it passed the front desk. The third shift front desk woman by the name of "Rose" made sure of that. When we walked in, we had to stand there for 10-15 minutes while she finished an obvious personal phone call. Having no hurry to get off the phone to help us we had no choice but to stand there and listen. Once she was off the phone, she just glared at us. No "May I help you?" or anything. Just stared. So I had to ask for a room and she simply replied "Credit card and license." She snatched the stuff, I already had out of my wallet and in my hand, away from me and started typing. I asked how much it was because no information was given and she quoted a price $50 above the online quote. When I asked her to hold off, She simply stated, "It's always cheaper online, this is what I can do." So I Looked at my friend and we decided to proceed closer to the city. Not in particular about the money, but the greeting we received and her entire attitude is what drove us away. We drove 30 more minutes down the road and got a hotel for the "online quoted price" which saved us about $80...so thank you Rose for being rude and saving me money.

Every staff member encountered was remarkably polite, upbeat, and cheerful - from the front desk personnel who were quick to accommodate our early arrival to the house-keeping personnel who were most pleasant on each encounter. The entire facility was exceptionally clean from the lobby in to the bathroom!

Great hotel. I was here for a pool tournament and this place well exceeded my expectations. The staff was great. Especially Hank who mans the outside patio bar and Russ who works inside bar. These guys singlehandedly made my team and I's stay. The place is well kept and the bar is open till 2am. Look forward to coming back for the next tournament. Oh and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Great hotel!

Would rate this hotel a 3.5. Nice hotel with a pool. Nice clean rooms. The only disappointment with this place is breakfast isn't included. You have to pay extra for that. Kate at the front desk was a joy & an asset to the property. Would stay here again but hope they change the issue with the breakfast.

Found blood on the bed sheets. When we called down to ask for new sheets they didn't offer an apology, took 20 minutes to being us sheets, and didn't even change them for us. Very disappointing.

I needed a last minute place to do my son's birthday party due to a mishap at the venue I initially booked. Kunal and Neil were extremely helpful in making sure they got me everything I requested. Their service was truly outstanding. My guests were very impressed with how we were able to host an amazing party at a last minute venue but it would not have been possible with the help of Kunal and Neil. I would definitely recommend this place. The Hunterdon Ballroom is beautiful!!

Recommendation for the hotel:

Recommendation for the hotel:

I want to highly recommend the hotel Holiday Inn Clinton - Bridgewater. We worked with many hotels in New Jersey and without a doubt this hotel is one the best there is. Why?
1. The most important thing in a hotel - The entire staff gives an amazing service! always want to help even in things they don't need to do, every request we had they immediately wanted to answer and give us the best service, and with a smile with no arguments and extra charges.
2. Zana the event manager helped us from beginning to end in every request we had, always checked how can she help with the price and terms. We are a Jewish youth movement with specific needs and Zana together with her staff helped us in everything we needed.
3. The place looks amazing and impressive. Always clean, big ballroom with a convenient dividing option.
4. Amazing pool.
5. Reasonable and affordable prices.
6. The double beds are a little small but something that bothered us too much.

In conclusion, if you are planning to have events in a hotel in New Jersey, I wouldn't think twice and have it at that hotel.
Thank you so much and we are looking forward to more events by you.

Although we had a great time at our niece's wedding reception, they could have made it a lot better by having the AC system working. The hotel was pretty big and full, so there should have been enough $$ to pay to have it fixed. We were told it went out 2 days before the wedding!

This place is surprisingly nice. When you got some of these small hotels along the way, it can often be hit or miss. Either they are an old hotel that s branded with a national name, a new hotel that is nice, clean and boring.... or you get this, a very nice hotel with a lot of great amenities.

This place was clean, well-maintained, and quite nice. From the outdoor patio with the waterfall and grill, to the FULL breakfast service, this place delivers.

The rooms were normal hotel rooms, but were clean and comfy. Overall, a great stay.

Too bad NO STARS is not an option...We were forced to stay here because of a baseball tournament. First of all, DOUBLE BEDS??? When you call to confirm reservation you are told they are Queen. They are not. Staff is a hot mess. ONE person at front desk is overly sugar, sweet. The rest either throw the Manager title around or are just rude. Asked for sheets for a blow up mattress we brought at 10pm. Was told, "it would be a bit..." Went to lobby at 12:30 to let them know they hadn't arrived and got chewed out by the lady at front desk because I wasn't there when she personally knocked on my door. Took until 1:30 AM to get sheets. She whined about Housekeeping going home. TV was eith completely frozen or pixilated. Was told the dish was moved and we had to deal with it because they can't fix it. You could listen to the news with a frozen picture of something else on the screen. But good news...cable is on the way. Issues with breakfast vouchers at check in. Every morning was stalked by guy in seating area to make sure we had the right ones. Was actually asked if I wanted my room to be cleaned by the front desk. I thought that was odd. That is until I noticed the wrapper on the floor of the room that was there from M-W and it wasn't ours. Housekeeping staff speaks NO english, or pretends not to. They get annoyed when they can't barge in to clean at 4, when you are just returning from a day at the ballpark and and want to shower. Some of the group we were in never got their rooms cleaned at all. Only give 3 sets of towels, no matter how many people in room, or how often you ask. Ran out of coffee at 9am. No one knew if there was more. In fact ran out of many breakfast foods by that time-except the petrified waffles and Corn Flakes. Good thing it was the Deluxe breakfast. Parents had to sign a paper that boys would only use "inside-voices" on the 2nd floor. Boys were kicked out of the pool because, well, no one really knows because no one speaks english. We believe it was because they had a pool toy that was a small ball. The pool was empty for the next 3 days. If you want it to be a business hotel-that's fine-but don't get involved with baseball tournaments!!!

I passed by this particular Holiday Inn on a business trip expecting the same great quality as I ve always had with the Holiday Inn Group. This Hotel s staff however absolutely AMAZING. I pulled in well after midnight to a fight at the front desk. A clearly inebriated and aggravated patron was yelling and screaming about lawsuits and police and all other sorts of hell at the front desk manager because the cab he had scheduled didn t show up. Now the manager was going through every single company that serviced the area attempting to please the patron in the most professional way I ve seen, despite what the man was saying. Even when the man began hurling racist comments and using names that should have died along with abolition and Abraham Lincoln s time, the manager was the most polite and professional employee I ve ever seen. The lady helping me was also nothing short of awesome. She got me the perfect room and gave me a drink voucher, which led me to the bar to meet the rest of the awesome staff. The security guy was incredibly funny and professional and very knowledgeable on sports from Ohio which was really nice seeing as he and I could intelligently converse about the browns and their curse and other such matters. The Bartender Russ, made some absolutely delicious drinks and was also a pleasure to be around.

All in all, next time I m traveling anywhere near that direction, I will make it a point to stop at this hotel. The staff this hotel employs go above and beyond any and all expectations and I hope to see them again very soon!
