Attended a dance meetup here. The poor bartender had no backup and he worked like crazy trying to keep up with the endless demands for drinks. Management needs to step in and take care of its people.
Its winter the indoor pool should had been heated. Besides that it was really nice

The staff was extremely nice. The room and beds were very comfortable. The place was was clean, but their were a couple of issues. We ate breakfast 1 of the 4 mornings we were and it was absolutely terrible. It was clearly low quality. I wouldn t have expected much if it was your typical continental breakfast, but it was setup as a buffet style restaurant. We also had an issue with our key cards. I had to go downstairs at least twice to have them replace them because they wouldn t work in the door. The WiFi wasn t reliable. Once in awhile you might be able to use it for a couple of minutes but it would go back to being so slow you couldn t use it. Our experience wasn t bad, it just could have been better.

My experience working with this hotel was horrible from the moment I signed the contract. Mostly due to poor communication, NO FOLLOW through and price's not being honored to my guest for our wedding block. Prices for rooms varied between 99-149/night. However, what was by far the most terrible thing was when the three paid and contracted HOLIDAY INN shuttles did not arrive to my wedding to pick up guests. I had over 60 guests waiting around for an hour and a half post wedding ending to be picked up. IT WAS HORRIFYING. Not to mention we were in the middle of the woods and the bar/food area was already shut down. Upon arriving (FINALLY),they could not navigate a GPS, so we had to have guests providing directions. There was NO contact what so ever between the hotel staff and their drivers, so we were continuously led to believe that the drives were "en route and should be there in 10 minutes". This was obviously not the case. This LIABILITY ON BEHALF OF THE HOTEL, led to many of my guest driving back to the hotel intoxicated. Also, the shuttle service to the wedding venue broke down and left later then scheduled- thus causing my wedding to begin an hour late. After going back and fourth numerous times with the coordinator we worked with, they would only provide us 50% reimbursement of the shuttles given that "some" worked properly. WE NEVER even received a two minute phone call from the manager to honor this mistake and apologize. AFTER calling corporate, we still have not heard from the hotel, even though we were told that they should reach out within 48 hours to correct their error. Nothing they can do will really correct the embarrassment and inconvenience that they caused on our wedding night, but I did expect them to at least try. They did not. Holiday inn in Clinton BLEW IT, and honestly so did HOLIDAY INN CORPORATE, as they have never gone above the hotel branch to correct THIS HUGE error and clearly do not hold their franchises to a high standard. Or any standard at all.
Over priced! $130 a night to stay in a room that is filthy! Mildew in the shower, red stuff smeared on the curtain, black dirt stains all around the air vent, and some gross whitish blob on the tank of the toilet. I will never stay in a Holiday Inn again. This is their standard! Over priced filth!
Some work colleagues and I went to the outside bar after work for some drinks and appetizers. The bartender was awesome and very attentive, the food was good, and the atmosphere was perfect. It got a little chilly and the bartender didn't hesitate to light one of the fire pits for us. Overall and excellent evening.
Stayed here last year when I was visiting and enjoyed it so much I came back. Affordable, good area, and clean. Will stay again next time I'm in town.
It was okay had a nice off bedroom was okay I had a nice little ball of little bar in there and the breakfast is so so but overall it was a comfortable stay clerk line on it saying that we had another day pay for and we didn't and I was already down there trying to pay for it but they lied housekeeper cat walking in on us yeah that part

We used one of the large meeting rooms for a family gathering. Staff was amazing! Very professional, really went above and beyond. Bathrooms were nice, but the men's room has a very unpleasant odor beyond what you'd expect
All I can say is that this place deserves better management and better employment. Threats being made to other employees of violence and the harassment and bullying that goes on is uncalled for. I will be calling the better business bureau on this establishment.
Fantastic experience at the bar for two straight nights. Sarah was the difference between a normal hotel stay and an amazing time.
Atmosphere was nice. Food quality was mediocre at least compared to expectations. Cannot comment on.room quality as I did not stay overnight.
I was a delegate for the NJRLCA convention that met there this weekend. The room I was given could have been cleaner, in the bathtub there was a swath of funk on the back of the tub and on the shower wall. When the toilet clogged, I informed the front desk and they took hours to have someone come up to fix it.
Being right off the highway made it easy to get around, the service was very good
I recently attended the Holiday Inn for a social event in one of the ball rooms. The DJ was great as well as the buffet style food and desert. Also, the staff were all very nice.
Nice rooms, average cost for overnight stay. Very good breakfast included with lodging. Ample parking, handicap accessible. Friendly staff. Steep driveway to the hotel. Basic ammenties in the room. Slow elevators. Clean rooms. Outside party grill area with tables and bar, seasonal use. Waterfall area by the outside grill area. Insufficient drivers for shuttles from wedding venue back to hotel. Waited 2 hours for pickup due to 2 wedding booked for shuttle same time.
Everything was great except the gym equipment was a bit antiquated

Very nice rooms. Fifth floor rooms have great view and quite. Good bar and friendly staff. Great breakfast and good value. Clean place. Easy walking to downtown. Dont miss the Redmill. Beautiful view of the falls.

I love staying here , they have an indoor swimming pool which is heated all the staff are really friendly, in house dining and in house bar both are separate but fairly priced and not to mention this is the best hotel Wi-Fi I've ever had handles my PS4 with no issues at all connected at 30mps

Was there this past weekend the rooms ballrooms and Lobbys are nice and clean. But the staff was very rude we paid for a ballroom. And it was taken away from us 6 hours early. If you want kind staff and nice people that's not the place for you. If all you need is a nice clean room. You will get that

Great hotel for a quick getaway. Fantastic breakfast!
Be aware, two things that would steer me away from this place again.
First, there is a bar in the lobby playing loud music that will fully penetrate the walls of the floor above. "They normally stop at about 2am" were the exact words I got when I asked about what was going on. Expect to pay hundreds of dollars to feel like you are trying to sleep while the frat parties below you.
Second, breakfast is not included, nor is there even coffee up for grabs. There is a paid coffee vending machine, likely with old coffee grounds sitting in a tub filled once a year from the taste of it. To add insult to injury, the coffee machine in our room was broken, and the manager pretty much said 'sorry about that' and gestured at the vending machine when I informed him about it.
Everything was good. Taken a star off for no toothbrushes, soap, or bottled water in the room. I expected to have those in a hotel that is mainly used by airline passengers stuck on a layover.
I just had the best stay at this hotel! The rooms are huge, tastefully appointed and clean. The hotel itself feels like it belongs in NYC with its modern decor and accommodations. The best part, however, is the staff. Natasha at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best possible time, in and out of the hotel. She is fantastic! This hotel and its staff truly understand the term hospitality!!
Newly updated rooms are a nice touch as this old queen finally received some makeup she deserved. The reason I didn't give this hotel a "Very Good" was the rooms are still rather darkness (another lamp would help) and the darn Keurig is broken and in calling down to the office for replacement was told they have no more replacements, so for this coffee lover in room 314...no morning coffee.
No Internet so I can't get any work done and whole waiting they have TV where the audio and picture are off by about 10 seconds. Guess I'll just stare at the wall tonight.
This hotel is UNBELIEVABLE the rooms are GREAT the staff are AMAZING and so helpful. The food us WONDERFUL
A great place to stay. Very helpful staff especially Alicia, Ashley, and Zana. When you need assistance they go way above normal customer service. You get a 5 star treatment.
It's kind of out of the way. Not much around except a cracker barrel. Hotel is dated but rooms were clean. The bar looks like it was an 80s night club. The free breakfast was not bad.

Great hotel. Historic Clinton..can't believe 4 movies have been filmed in town..WOW!!! You can tell this place has been majorly updated. Hot breakfast buffet was awesome! We slept so comfy and loved the heated pool, trendy club lounge and outdoor waterfall patio!!

Very nice hotel. Lovely swimming pool, and kids at free at dinner (saved us about $20 vs eating out) Negatives, no hot tub in pool room. My key demagnetized 2 times in 1 day, and the TV kept losing service for the hour or so I was watching it. Minor quibbles, I would stay their again anytime.

I was there for a banquet party. It's very nice facility with many conference rooms to choose from. Larger than I expected. Upon entering, there is a picturesque, large chandelier over a very elaborate staircase which I imagine would look lovely in wedding photos. The room our party was in was a little on the smaller side. It felt a little cramped with all the guests, tables, buffet, DJ and dance floor. However, we had access to this awesome outdoor patio, with a beautiful pond and rocky waterfall water feature and fire pits. There was also a cash bar outside where the bar tender would make you whatever you wanted. It was great to be able to step away from the DJ and get some fresh air. This outdoor patio really made out night great. I must say the buffet offered some of the best chicken francaise I ever had. Very tender and flavorful and it's what really stood out for me food wise. over all it was a night well spent at a hood venue with family and friends. I hear they have a good Sunday brunch buffet, also.
VERY much in need of updates, general environment kind of run down. Broken and missing ice machines and vending machines, garbage cluttered about in the former ice areas, chairs in the dining room completely worn out and tattered, crunchy yellow bathroom towels, so-called Starbucks coffee in the vending area for off hours was the most awful concoction I've ever tasted, and we paid for it. Don't think that machine has ever been cleaned. VERY disappointed for an IHG property. Used to be a great hotel but in the past few years has really gone down hill. I would have given only two stars, but every staff and service member that we came in contact with was super nice and did a great job
Stayed one night for wedding in nearby Oxford, NJ. Before arrival, we called to request an early check-in as the wedding was on Friday evening and we would be driving some distance. The person we talked to could not guarantee an early check-in as it depended on the availability of rooms at the time. This was fine, but the information about check-in times we we're given was apparently incorrect. Regarless, we arrived early and our room was ready. Despite, driving past the entrance the first time, we arrived and check-in was a breeze. The lobby was clean and the front desk staff was polite. Bonus, they had a Starbucks vending machine in the lobby next to a small convenience store. The hallways were clean, well lit, and easy to navigate. Our room was spacious, with a king-size bed, sizeable closet, and comfortable bathroom with a large vanity. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. Nothing seemed worn-out or in need of any repair. The bed and pillows were probably the most comfortable ones I have ever experienced at a hotel which made getting a good night of sleep easy. Following the wedding we went to the lounge for a few drinks. The atmosphere was...interesting. It was decorated as if it were trying a little too hard to be modern. But, the drinks were a reasonable price and we enjoyed ourselves. The following morning there had apparently been a major issue with one room getting flooded and the staff was doing thier best to clean it up and keep the guest from being inconvenienced. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet was the most disappointing part. The food was terrible. Everything looked good but tasted just awful. Thankfully breakfast was provided free of charge as we were part of a wedding block of reservations. However, we found it strange how much the wait staff at the breakfast buffet was concerned wether or not we were guests at the hotel. They kept asking us for our room information even though we gave them the voucher that the front desk had given us.
Great Hotel! The room was spacious and the mattress was comfortable. There were plenty of pillows and towels. My puppy was as happy as if she were at home. It was her first time in a elevator! The chandelier in the lobby is georgious! If I come back to the area I would stay here again.
I was her last year with a group, we had a great stay, freindly staff and a very helpful manager.
This year we came again, we reseved the ballroom from friday untill Sunday noon. Sunday morning 10:00 they didn't let us in the ballroom, (even though we had a contract till 12:00), when everyone was still sleeping, they through away everything we had in the ballroom. including all food we prepared for breakfast. We asked the manager for the ballroom. he said, they have a meeting there, we can't have it. he was very rude to us, instead of saying sorry, or give us a different ballroom, he tried to blame everything on us!
Good venue for small conferences. The room was clean and bedding was very comfortable. The fan was a bit noisy but found it was only my room that had the problem.

I stay at this hotel several times a year on business. The hotel rooms are comfortable and kept in good shape. The staff is very helpful if you need anything. When booking, make sure to add on the breakfast coupon.

Worst Holiday Inn at which I ve ever stayed. Everything is old, dingy, dark, and in need of an update/upkeep. No pride of ownership here. Surprised this hotel is rated so high!

Me and my friends had terrible experience with this hotel. We got our rooms at Hotwire, we were driving for 12 hours and just wanted a good sleep, but when we came - we spent 1 hour in the lobby waiting for our rooms because it showed up like we did not pay for them , but we were charged. Ater that when he was checking us in - he charged my card again! He was trying to cancel it and then said that I will receive a refund in 5-7 days. But I never received! I called the hotel 3 times in total, next week. They were saying that I should get it soon but finally they figured out that refund was made to the wrong card (Not mine).
Very impressed. It must be a good wedding venue. Clean rooms, very nice lobby, awesome pool area with other games and tvs. Gary at the breakfast buffet was working his A off and was very entertaining and helpful. All staff seemed happy, great place.
Wow this place was fantastic! The people were very nice. They recently got new beds and i can say I haven t slept as deeply as I did there in years! They have a nice shallow pool to relax in and just in general a beautiful hotel! I will be back!

Just spent the weekend here for a large event. The room we stayed in (212) was a really nice size allowing me and my family to have enough space comfortably. Beds were comfortable, my 3 year old slept beautifully which is rare!! The kids loved the pool and me and my husband appreciated the large open area for them to play. I was impressed with the way the hotel staff handled such a large event, with grace and calmness and really trying to assist the guests with their requests. Warren and Delmant specifically were extremely helpful! Overall, was beyond satisfied...

I d give this place 0 stars if I could. I stood for only one night and woke up with terrible bites all over my body and face that I had no choice to go to the ER. Turns out there were a bunch of spiders in our room (Room # 530)
My whole right face is swollen and my eye is closed because of this. Manager doesn t have the decency to help out whatsoever. This is a disgusting place and needs to be shut down immediately! I am planning on starting a lawsuit ASAP.
You could say it's a bit basic but very reliable. Overall pretty good really.
