My friend and I were traveling to New York and we needed to stop before we got to the city for the night. Clinton seemed to be close to where we wanted to be so we looked online and decided this hotel would be a good spot for a good price. Unfortunately I cannot write a review for the hotel itself because we never made it passed the front desk. The third shift front desk woman by the name of "Rose" made sure of that. When we walked in, we had to stand there for 10-15 minutes while she finished an obvious personal phone call. Having no hurry to get off the phone to help us we had no choice but to stand there and listen. Once she was off the phone, she just glared at us. No "May I help you?" or anything. Just stared. So I had to ask for a room and she simply replied "Credit card and license." She snatched the stuff, I already had out of my wallet and in my hand, away from me and started typing. I asked how much it was because no information was given and she quoted a price $50 above the online quote. When I asked her to hold off, She simply stated, "It's always cheaper online, this is what I can do." So I Looked at my friend and we decided to proceed closer to the city. Not in particular about the money, but the greeting we received and her entire attitude is what drove us away. We drove 30 more minutes down the road and got a hotel for the "online quoted price" which saved us about $80...so thank you Rose for being rude and saving me money.
