Holiday Inn Cleveland Airport Review

So all I needed was a bed to crash in for a few hours before my flight out of Cleveland. And let me tell you, this place exceeded my expectations! I got a pizza from a local place delivered right to my room, and I slept like a big fat baby in the comfy bed. If you're ever in the Cleve and you need a hotel within spitting distance of the airport, this is the place for you

Excellent hotel, spacious rooms and great breakfast

Stayed a week and couldn t get a late checkout without being charged!

We stayed there for one night we understand that checked out is at 11:00am but whoever clean the room at 10:45am without knocking he open the door and said you guys are not check out yet? This is so disrespectful!

I enjoy my stay when I stay at the HIE.. the staff is always nice and pleasant.. their breakfast buffet is complimentary and very nice.. coffee, tea, and juice are free 24 hours along with fruit (apples and bananas)

Staff is friendly, but the hotel needs updating. Room was smaller than I expected and the electric blue and burnt orange walls are not very relaxing....really ugly color on old textures walls. But the room was clean, the shower was hot and Keurig in the room is great. No roll away beds available so a bit of a hassle trying to get the kids to stop arguing over who gets what side. Indoor pool is small and not heated but mom and the kids liked it. No hot tub or spa.......bummer..

Didn't stay at that one. Stayed at the one in Athens, Ohio. No complaints, short stay,
everything was great. And free breakfast!

Upon arrival, i was greeted by two women at the front desk. While going through the process is getting checked in, i asked about a specific restaurant in the Cleveland area, and the second desk attendant took the time to Google the location and provide the address for me to plug into my gps. Once in my room, it was clean and well put together. Given the proximity to the airport the hotel was pleasantly quiet as well. Though this was not my intended destination, as i was conducting business in the area, i would definitely stay here again. The only thing i did not care for was the toilet paper, strangely enough, and the lack of q-tips in the included toiletries.

The staff was very helpful and the room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Expect to give them your license plate as a necessary consequence of being so close to the airport and preventing unauthorized parking.

Highly recommend for the price. I will definitely return. When I leave the airport, this is first stop...

Fantastic hotel. Stayed overnight for early morning flight. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, convenient location.

The manager Daniel was very rude and a lier. He was not accommodating to my family at all. Everything he said he was gonna do to help us he turned around 5 minutes later and said he couldn t do it. We had 4 rooms and only entered 1 room for 15 minutes and decided to leave. Gave me an extremely hard time refunding my money. 4 days later charges still have not been taken off my credit card.

Always a pleasure to stay here, however wish they served a continental [coffee and danishes] for folk's that have an earlier flight than 6am and cannot partake in the amazing full breakfast.

First room we were giving had something all over bed, told front desk so they gave us another room. This room was clean but color scheme was pretty wild. ( electric blue and gray). Breakfast at this hotel not much to speak of, could only get pancake machine to make 1 pancake even after repeated tries. Will stay at the holiday inn in downtown Cleveland next time we visit our daughter at Baldwin Wallace University. ( which is about 5 minutes from hotel but, evidently no one there has heard of it ).

We had to book last minute, my son mother and myself after driving 600 stinky miles we just wanted to bathe and sleep. We ended up with a single bed which is fine.. we asked for another blanket and they didn't have any. The staff seemed rude and inconvenienced with our questions.
Our room was clean but check in was a pain again rude staff.

Holiday Inn Express is my go-to, in terms of IHG hotels. This visit was good, the beds were great and the staff was accommodating.

I feel that all the necessary safety mesaures have MOSTLY been observed, as the lobbies were empty and they require you to wear a mask while in all public areas. I did spot the staff "re-masking" as I came into the lobby, but I tend to see that a lot no matter where I go. In their defense, they were never OUTSIDE of the front desk area, which is well-guarded with the safety barrier between us and the guest.

Overall, if I have business to handle in this area, I would happily return to this hotel.

Nice hotel near the Cleveland Airport. Pool, nice fitness center, business area, and breakfast seating. Rooms are ok because they look like they are a bit dated.

Staff was friendly and welcoming and there is a shuttle to the airport.

Clean hotel room, easy access from highway, breakfast included and price was reasonable.

The room was nice. We were there for a funeral and wasn't aware they offered bereavement rates. Stayed two night and realized the second night. Only gave rate second night

I had a good stay here. Clean place. Good location. Most holiday inns have keurigs now which this one does. Great bed. I liked it!

Stayed here because of the location. However, just an older hotel. Nice staff just felt dated for HI Express.

This was probably one of the elast appealing Holiday Inn's I have stayed at in recent memory. The rooms were clean, but looking at the bathroom, wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there were stains higher towards the ceiling. When we made our reservations, we booked a room with two queen beds, but when we finally got to the room, the beds seemed more like fulls rather than the queens. When we inquired at the front desk, all they did was look at the reservation sheet and said "yes, two queens." The breakfast space is a little smaller than other HI's and filled up quickly. I'm not sure if they were short staffed, but it seemed like the food containers were constantly low or out of food.

Outstanding staff and facility. Very convenient location. Couldn't be more satisfied with the overnight stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly service, breakfast was Ok related to other places. Room was clean. I heard the snoring from the neighbor (like he was next to me) because of the door link between the two rooms.

Very close to the Airport and IX Center. Rooms were very nice, clean and had microwave/fridge. Free breakfast was very good and staff was very friendly.

Very quick stay, room & amenities were pretty nice. The bed was okay and the air conditioner was a pain but got the room nice and cold. Overall it wasn't there nicest hotel but great quick overnight stay for the price

Facility is located closer to a lot of good Indian restaurants, staff of facility are very kind.

The hotel is located very close to the airport which is great. However, the hotel seems warn out a bit. The staff was great though.

This Holiday in needs a little resurfacing but it's clean. I asked about being placed on the top floor at my arrival because I don't do well with people stomping over my head (especially when trying to sleep), but was still placed on the middle floor. All that aside, this hotel had a good breakfast for my style. I'm a grab and go person and one of my favorites, the cinnamon role can be expected every day. Little things that hotel other hotels miss like simply having coffee cups and straws that fit them, or bags to carry my breakfast in were offered. Staff is always there to help. Channel lineup was awesome so it was comdortable to actually watch and not even have to miss network tv shows while away from home. I'm more critical of Holiday Inns because they are my fave hotel and I stay in A LOT of them! This one was great.

Clean room with great for business or leisure. I could not hear any plans flying overhead. It has very easy access to and from the Cleveland airport.

The people who work there are friendly and professional service WOW food was hot and good

The room was pretty standard, I asked for 1 king but got 2 Queens. Not that big of a deal. Overall a pretty standard night in a hotel.

Stayed here on the first floor for a few nights (weekend) to attend a family wedding. Nothing fancy but nice enough and the staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating. This place is convenient to all major roads and with a free breakfast, definitely worth the stay. Surprisingly less than other hotels in the area.

Newly remodeled rooms are great. The gym has weights, and it's 8 minutes from the airport. Great spot.

Beds are very firm. Driveway is off main road only. Hotel was fine. Staff was kind.
