Lousy experience

Lousy experience
I booked a 1 bedroom suite 2 weeks prior to vacation for May 15 to May 19 2017 for myself and my wife. We wanted the kitchen and separate living space as we were going to be there for 4 nights. When we got to the hotel at 3:30 pm on May 15 we were told that there were no 1 bedroom rooms available, nor any other rooms available

hotel looks recently renovated and it wasn't just a "put new stuff over old stuff" they actually redid everything and it looks nice, WiFi is fast... only thing I would complain about is that we reserved a room with a shower/tub but got a room with an accessible walk in shower... water literally dripped from the bathroom all the way into the main room if we didn't drop 4 towels there to block it...

Great place to stay. Clean rooms, comfy beds, nice work out area and pool. Didn't eat anything here this time but probably will next time. Jeff and Tanner always greeted me by name everytime I walked in the door and were super helpful with anything I needed. Great customer service and just all around nice staff/hotel.

Nice, though under construction right now, so not quite ideal. No continental breakfast. There is a separate restaurant in the hotel, and breakfast buffet is ~$12 per person. Nice, helpful staff, good bar. Okay location, but construction is a bummer. Lots of food within walking distance (Einstein's Bagels, Chipotle, Dog Haus, Nonna's Italian Bistro, Maggie Smith's Irish pub). Overall, a good place to stay. View of the mountain from 3rd floor, if you're on the right side of the hotel! Nice pool, small hot tub.

Cleanest Holiday by far. Now for why only 3 stars. I love coffee l look forward to getting up going downstairs and having fresh made coffee from every hotel I have ever been to. Except this one. If you want fresh coffee it is $2.95 a cup. You won't find that welcoming coffee, tea, and fresh water station complimentary at this Holiday Inn. Nor can you get up to a complimentary hot breakfast like you can at every Holiday Inn. When you wake up you pay $12.95 for a breakfast buffet of dried oatmeal, eggs, and rock hard potatos. Ewww! Is the microclean hotel worth all the trade? No I have yet to stay at a Holiday Inn that wasn't clean. So next time I will drive 2 more miles to the Holiday Inn that has those amenities.

We called days before asking if early check in would be ok since we were driving 13hours straight to get there. Guy said shouldn't be a problem. Well when we arrived at 10am they we're absolutely of zero help. They told us nope no early check ins, we are completely booked. Mind you the half empty parking lot on a Thursday. They were rude not even trying to be accommodating to our needs. Check in is usually 3pm we didn't get a room until after 3:30 and that was with me bugging the front desk. On our way to our room we saw house keeping cleaning rooms movimg at a very slow pace. The one manager women was helpful but I never saw her again. The whole time the front desk lady was rude and never made sense. She looked at me like I was an alien every question I had. Blinds were not completely dark out blinds and fridge didnt stay very cold. Walls are paper thin and rooms very tight. Rooms and building were clean and house keeping did a good job. I've stayed at a lot of hotels before but this place needs to up their hospitality and teach their front desk employee how to speak and talk to the guests.

I went with coworker at lunch to check out the bar. The food is not bad but it's definitely not memorable for the cost, with so many choices nearby. We were expecting it to be a burger Theory and it's not. I rated it a little higher because of their bartender. If he is a measure for the quality of people hired, then this place is going to do really well. Great Beard,

Hotel room booked in advance for our workers and paid for online. Crew showed up and was rejected for not having a card present for incidentals. Hotel wouldn t charge the card on file, take a card over the phone, or send us an authorization form which forced the crew to leave after working in cold and snow outside all day. It s 8:15pm and they have to drive hack to south Springs. Ridiculous!

We stayed here after we went to Elitches. The on site restaurant is a new burger place... really good. The hotel gave us two dinner vouchers (for our kids) and then two more for breakfast. Overall a very nice place, comfy beds, nice rooms, good pool, and very polite staff.

Check in process was smooth with an overly helpful front desk employee who offered water bottles and a tour. Breakfast fully stocked though very busy on the weekend. Omelettes available with a variety of ingredients to add. Not able to make pm reception but did see plentiful snacks and drinks.

Exceptionally good WiFi. Nice burgers especially one with avocado in local restaurant. Location is nothing special however. There is huge gun store and range next to it if you're up to for such pleasure.

I didnt spend the night there or experience any amenities they may provide. I was at the hotel visiting a friend and the room was clean and tidy and it had a nice sized bathroom. The decor was hideous but that is pretty normal in the hotel world.

A policy and procedure should be implemented to place families with children on the lower level ONLY. To expect a QUIET and relaxing night...I had to listen to a child run back and forth and back and forth. Not cool.

First time guest and not last time. Getting to the hotel was easy. Staff was great at check in and room was great! Maybe the nicest bed and pillows in a hotel I've had in a long time. On top of that if you need easy access to DTC you got that too

Very nice rooms and amenities. Everything felt clean and new. Only complaint was that the room temperature was very inconsistent. The AC seemed to come on when it wanted to, not based on the thermostat. Staff was very friendly and the food was excellent.

This our third visit to this location. We chose to stay here as it is close to my spa and suppliers that I use when I am in town. My husband and I fly into town once a month and having a familiar place to stay helps with our comfort level. The staff is wonderful. Lots of places to eat close as well.

The Holiday Inn and Suites Denver Centennial is a nice place to stay if you have business in the tech center area. I've stayed a couple of other places in the area and this is the most comfortable one I found and the price is the same or even lower than some of the others most of the time. There's a nice bar & the Burger Theory restaurant here which is good and informal, and there's a Starbucks right across the street. There's a small shopping center, including a restaurant or two and a wine and liquor store within easy walking distance, and it's next door to the Centennial Gun Club as well in case you need to brush up on your shooting. It's non-smoking and always has been, so there's no bad smell in the place, and if I remember correctly there's a small swimming pool indoors there as well although I'd check that if it's important to you because I didn't and don't use them. Anyway, I recommend it for that area.

10 day work trip turned into 2 1/2 months. So happy I stayed in this hotel. Every one was so helpful and nice. Thanks Tiffany for arranging the rebookings for for us.

Insane internet speeds!

Hoping they setup a rooftop patio / bar to watch the amazing sunsets before my next visit.

I highly recommend to never use or stay at this hotel ever! Staff is unprofessional and not compassionate about situations including patients that travel under stressful and medical reasons and they are not accommodating. They are also very rude when working with travel agencies and do not value customer service. I have received multiple complaints from clients that stay there!

If this isn't a brand new property, it seems like it. It seems new and clean. Rooms have fridges, which some higher end IHG properties don't. On the downside, the fridges are cramped. Fitting 2 liter bottles is hard, whereas it's effortless in most fridges this size.

The staff is welcoming and accommodating.

Recommend.

This Inn maybe the newest of all the Holidays I stayed at on our trip and it was definitely the nicest and least expensive. Our room was very nice. Had the biggest flat panel TV I have seen in a room. The lobby bar was excellent and had some very good craft beers. Miranda is such a gracious host at breakfast, you'll be glad you stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. Thanks for a pleasant two day stay.

Very impressed with Kari at the front desk. I forgot to request two beds and thus we were checked into a room with one king. Upon returning to the front desk to ask about changing to a room with two beds I was told by the other person at the desk they only had singles with a pull-out couch, so I opted to stay in our original room. After returning to our room I received a call from Kari stating that she found me a room with two beds and would be up with new room keys in a few moments. I guess they had a room that is listed as a single, really is double and she knew about it. In any event, we ended up with a large corner room. It featured a fridge, microwave, and work desk with office chair. Just a shame the view from both windows was not nicer, but overall I was very impressed with the service and the room. Most definitely will consider this hotel in the future when in the Denver Tech Center.

Stayed one night here recently and had a good experience from the customer service to the location to the room comfort. There are even a few places to eat not too far from the hotel as well as a hotel restaurant. One complaint was that a second night was charged at a considerably higher rate (like $80 more). The second night should've been charged, but I have no idea why they hiked the rate like that. The front desk didn't seem to have a clear answer for that either.

Only stayed one night but had the best experience! The front desk gentleman named Jeff was amazing and so kind! He definitely deserves a raise with his hospitality and friendly demeanor. I saw him later that evening and he remembered not just me but 3 other guests by their last name and greeted us. Hotel was very clean, pool was nice, towels are soft. Overall it was a great little getaway while getting to the airport.

The hotel is very nice. They don't offer continental breakfast. There's just a restraunt in the hotel called Burger Theory. They make a pretty good burger, but I never tried the breakfast. The staff is very friendly. However the whole hotel smells like cleaning supplies. Not so much in the rooms, but all the hallways. Also the elevator make horrible sound every floor it passes and when it arrives. It sounds like a bad recording from the 1940s of someone striking a bell for a boxing match. It's really obnoxious.
