Holiday Inn Denver Lakewood Review

Great stay every time.. Room service is great, we love it.

The hotel has some potential but the staff need to be trained properly and have enough staff to handle the amount of guest s arriving. It took 15 minutes to check in, upgrade was not given automatically for a Platinum Elite, I inquired and only then was I given an upgrade. Their upgrade is great... One bedroom suite with a sitting area, eating area and huge bathroom with double sinks! Huge miss was the late check out, front desk didn t make housekeeping aware of my late check out and they walked in twice without knocking and and knocked on two separate occasions.

The restaurant was clean and well staffed. Very pleasant.

This Holiday Inn is nice. It's in a great location close to a lot of the things we needed to be near. Rooms were super clean and the staff was friendly. Couldn't ask for a better stay.

The room that we stayed in was newly remodeled. Very clean. Spacious bathroom. Front desk staff was helpful. Did not use the pool or hot tub so can't speak to that. Would stay here again.

Terrible customer service during breakfast hours. Manager was so put out to help anyone. I feel sorry for anyone that has to meet her.

For $150+ a night this hotel sucks. No coffee in the am, smelled like pot, loud noise from the parking lot and pool most of the night. Staff not very friendly and or knowledgeable. I ll never do this or any other Holiday Inn again.

We were married at Red Rocks in April 2015 and chose Holiday Inn Lakewood as our base of operations. The location is ideal, set between Downtown Denver and Red Rocks with easy access to the mountains and highways for daytrips. The building and rooms are very clean and updated. The staff was amazing and catered to our every need. They were extremely nice and attentive to our family and friends who were also stay there. The bar and grill staff were also very nice and helpful and the food was fresh and delicious. Thanks to the whole staff for making the time around our special day so pleasant. We will be staying here on our next trip to the area.

I work here . We have a pool a sports bar and restaurant. We are close to red rock amphitheater and the speedway is close by too. We also have shuttle runs for the guest places to have meetings , functions and parties

This location is quite clean and the rooms seem updated. The bed was comfy and a/c worked really well! Front desk staff was a little stiff on check in. They were full,though, and likely very busy at The desk. Sodas are about each from 3.00 lobby and vending machines. Kind of crazy! We don't drink much soda so not a big deal.

Nice clean hotel. Easy to find. The last at the front desk was a bit snappy when we called and asked for plastic cups, weird

Easy to spot from the highway, friendly staff - even the guy out shoveling the snow and laying down ice melt!

I love this place for the included restaurant named The Innsider Bar and Grill. The Innsider Bar and Grill is a sports restaurant with plenty of big screen TVs. It's a good place to have a conversation it's always been that kind of vibe every time I've been there. Pre COVID-19 and now. Consequently there's always good service. Being part of the Holiday Inn it has the same good remarks by me regarding cleanliness and comfortability as the rest of the hotel. In fact you have to go through the lobby and around the corner down the hall to the restrooms. I make it sound far but it's not bad unless you really have to go. There is handicapped access up a ramp. And insurance is either through the lobby or an outside entrance. It's a very nice place to get stuck if a blizzard happens. I

Clean and quiet...everything you come to expect from a Holiday Inn!

Don't book an event here. It's overpriced and they'll forget your event anyways. We had planned our rehearsal for here and the day of they didn't have it on the calendars and it was obviously a burden for them to help me even after I pulled out the contract I was given. The rooms aren't worth the price. Comfort Inn right behind them is WAY better and worth the price. The people staying here for my wedding said it was sub-par.

Update. No idea why you would contact my group for shuttle service when that wasn't agreed upon or in the contract. Obviously you guys have NO IDEA what's happening in your business and need help. I never got any call and I had many emails, including a contract, between me and Karen. Not only that the rooms were not great and hot as hell for my guests that stayed there.

Very clean and updated rooms. Amenities are of good quality and the restaurant inside the hotel has been good.

The best staff, best hotel. I love it, they make you feel like a family. I do recommend.

Great location, easy to get in and out of parking lot for sure. The restaurant in the hotel was great, friendly and quick service . Checking in was a breeze, the desk staff was very polite. Would recommend for sure. Everything was very clean and well maintained.

Check in and out was a breeze. Staff at the front desk was friendly. Our room was clean and we didn't have a single issue with our stay.

good hotel, There are a couple of good restaurants near buy. My advice though, you want to spend less and drink more for your dinner, just go down to the bar. food is good, and the prices are more than fair.

Went on Christmas night for dinner with my pops. Had the salmon with broccoli & fries. Quite delicious. The jack and ginger left much to be desired, tasted more like a jack and water. Overall a pleasant experience, and I'm thanks for the people working on Christmas who served us.

The room was spotless and the woman at the front desk was very friendly. The only downside is that they didnt have a microwave but that's not worth taking away a star.

I checked in here Nov 20th and checked out on the 23rd. Upon arrival the staff was super pleasant, polite, AND helpful to me and my best friend. The two queen room was excellent. The beds were AMAZING. I did have some issues with the Keurig they provide in the room not working properly without messing with it(like, it wouldnt fill the cup if you didnt kinda pull the cup compartment apart without opening it cuz it was closed too tight but its not enough of an issue to lower rating, especially since i decided not to call the desk about it). I do also kinda wish the room had a microwave but again, not something important enough to lower my rating. All in all, i would stay here again and am perfectly fine recommending it to others.
*edit* I forgot to add in that they were following all the requirements & recommendations for covid prevention. All staff i saw were properly masked and avoided interaction as much as possible while still properly doing their respective jobs.

The rooms are nice, the service is friendly, and the hotel is quiet. My only reason for 4 of 5 stars is that they do not include breakfast.

Nice stay with decent restaurants. Room was clean but one of the towels needed to be replaced. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help.

Had a fire at home, insurance company found a room here at Holiday inn. They were ready for us when we showed up. They were very helpful with change for the laundry a extra coffee pods for the room, cleaned the room when we were gone. And the restaurant attached called the Insider Bar and grill, serves ( carry out only) the best tasting food I've had in a long time, great prices as well. Five stars from me.

Holiday inn has had great service. They have been friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and the elevators are quick. Their is a restaurant inside the hotel that has pretty decent food also and reasonably priced drinks. Good central location with easy access to stores etc.

The remodeled rooms are nice, staff is very accommodating and Innsider bar and grill is reasonably priced. Started each day in the well equipped fitness center, and after a long day it was nice to be able to relax in the hottub before heading off to our comfortable plush beds.

Nice, clean and newly remodeled. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The restaurant and bar area is fun and inviting

Service was helpful and kind. The room was well kept and prepared. Overall it was a good stay. If you grab some food, I suggest the bbq bacon cheddar burger, or the steak fajitas. They are both excellent.

If you have a pet, don t even think about it. Unless you are okay with pet friendly costing you 100. Room was going to cost 104, plus an additional 100 just to have our dog with us. Price would have literally doubled for one dog. This is prior to even booking. Not if your dog has an accident in the room after the fact. Do not call yourselves pet friendly.

The rooms are surprisingly nice. The hotel is very close to 285 which is nice of your are just passing through.

We were there for a wedding. Everything was clean and modern. It was a good time.

I came with the person who stayed the night. I only came in for a little while to change for a wedding and catch the shuttle with them. The location is off a frontage road to a highway, so it might be a little confusing in how to get in. The check in was super quick. The entire building is no smoking and very clean. The key card was a little finicky but we got it without needing a replacement. The room was clean and orderly. The shuttle was quick and safe. Overall, wonderful visit.

This is an ok hotel. The customer service at check in was quick and friendly. The room itself was musty and had an odor when running the AC. The outdoor pool was heated and my kids really enjoyed it. The best thing about the hotel is the bar and grill located in the lobby. We had the shrimp scampi and it was amazing.

Nice restaurant and bar. Breakfast very limited and no breakfast on weekends. Rooms dated microwave extra cost. No airport shuttle yet they do have a van.

This place was an absolute gem. Tyler was extremely helpful with our check in and even took the time to go over the rewards benefit I signed up for prior to my stay. Lakewood is the perfect spot to access everything in Denver.

I usually stay here when traveling for work. This trip I decided to bring my wife and pup. I have a 60 lb husky. They're pet policy is $100 A NIGHT for dogs that size. RIDICULOUS!! All other pet friendly hotel near them charge $10 a night. Needless to say we didnt stay here and I probably wont again.

Came to town expecting to go to the Broncos game. But when that didn t work out we decided to hang at the hotel (Innsider Bar & Grill). It was my mom s bday and Renee and Shannon tag-teamed to make her day feel as special as possible while we watched the game live from the bar. Checkin staff has been great and the room was made up nice and clean. If anything changes for the worse before we check out I ll update this posting. If not, then yes. Two thumbs up and definitely recommend!!

The room was nice and bed comfortable. I did not like the lack of parking near the building.

It's OK place. Clean rooms and friendly staff. What we did not like was that our pillows were very uncomfortable. Also their breakfast bar was not up to par.

Room was clean staff is polite and friendly. Couldnt redeem my breakfast coupon because the waitress is a mask supporter. Sheepeople are everywhere. Doing her job. "I get it." But having common sense has never been a qualification to get a job.
