The perfect family holiday. Here was really thought of everything. Great swimming pools, restaurants, (indoor) playgrounds and other employment opportunities. The houses are lovingly furnished. Come again.

We have been to some Landal Parks, but this one is the best so far. The facility is in excellent condition. The staff is super friendly, especially in the pool are very many staff on site. They keep a close eye on things and make sure everything in the dressing rooms is always clean. The offer for children is huge. Crafting, sewing, climbing, air hockey, bowling ... so you do not have to rely on good weather. The outdoor playgrounds are of course top. You can also go shopping in the farm's own supermarket, everything you need. Even the forgotten home phone charger is available at a reasonable price. All in all, an unqualified recommendation for a nice family vacation.

So far our stay in Hof van Saksen has been a true vacation. At the check-in we were already surprised by tasty local snacks, entertainment for the little ones and the most friendly lady at the reception that I have ever experienced. Everything went smoothly and was done in no time, questions were answered kindly and within no time we were on our way to the cottage / farm. And that was only the first hour! We stay here 7 days, so I still have enough to see and experience. The first impression is worth gold in any case!

Vacation time October 2019
The staff was very friendly and helpful! We had a rusted heater in the bathroom, which was changed within 4 hours. That was great from the technical service. Had but also weeks before by the cleaning staff can be reported!

The swimming pool is great for the very small children (up to 3 years) and the big children (from 8+ years)! In between there is really a gap for the 4-8 year old kids!
Once again we would not book. But the overall result was not good enough.

Very nice accommodations, and fun for the whole family. Especially the swimming pool. Only recommended

We are the third time here. Ideal for families and especially children. If you want, you can participate in many activities here. Children can rent bicycles, bowling, crafts and swimming. The houses are in good to very good condition. The staff is friendly and helpful and speaks German. We'll be back ... for the fourth time!

Beautiful park. Beautiful, luxury houses. Lots of fun things to do for children. Swimming pool is super. And it is nice to cycle in the area. Stress-free vacation with small children.

Super nice holiday park! We were there for 5 nights and very sad when we had to go home. There was no day of boredom.

Park:
Very nicely laid out, unfortunately many guests do not comply with the request to park their car in one of the many parking spaces not far away. But otherwise it looks clean, lots of great playgrounds, especially the one by the lake is recommended and can be reached with completely dry feet in winter. I particularly liked the lighting!

Farmhouse
We had a 6 person luxury house. Here I would either spend a little more next time and take a children's accommodation or spend a little less and book a comfort house, because apart from the sauna and whirlpool (the normal, narrow bathtub with jets, they were very loud and a bit uncomfortable due to the shape of the bathtub was) the accommodation was no more luxurious than the others. Equipment was ok but a bit colorless and loveless for my taste. The gas fireplace was our highlight.

Offer for children:
Here the park scores all along the line! A great swimming pool for young and old! Great sliding, except for Presto, where we all suffered painful bumps despite correct sliding posture, even after almost 2 weeks my head still hurts at that point. But the tire slides are highly recommended, only the ascent with tires up the 95 steps is a bit strenuous. The wild water course was great fun for our 3 year old too. The whole bathroom is very clean and modern. Even shampoo is available free of charge. During the week there is also a large swimming pool that you can climb on in the large pool.
The indoor playground is really nice for all ages, even our 17 year olds and we adults had our fun there. There is an extra area for the little ones up to 4 years of age. In addition, a corner with a wooden train, large building blocks, a soccer field. Slot machines are only available for teenagers so that the children don't start moaning about wanting money. The craft academy has a free craft order that can be easily re-tinkered every day, as well as paper with pens and color for painting and handicrafts that you can buy at a low price.
The Bounce Arena can be used for 15 minutes after registering, it's a shame that there are only 30 minutes for children from 6 years on during the week, could be open more often, maybe extra family times.
We didn't use the technology and fashion academy, but both had very nice offers.
My kids did 1 hour archery which was very nicely done and free.
The supermarket has everything you need, of course at a sometimes significantly higher price.
We weren't in the restaurant but had fast food at the Rapido swimming pool snack bar, very recommendable, very good, cheap and friendly.

I especially like to mention the staff there. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, everyone spoke German, although of course you were first addressed in Dutch, most of the vacationers came from there. Even when the children were made aware of the rules in the swimming pool, it was extremely friendly, and I've never seen it like this before. And especially in the swimming pool they were very careful, lots of staff and always attentive!

So that was a very long review, I'm just very enthusiastic about Hof van Saksen and we will definitely be back!

Wow, amazing fun for the kids. They won't be borred one minute when you come here. You can rent a bungalow but you can also come here for a day. Did you know they have the biggest slide of all Europe in the swimming pool?!

Good swimming pool with nice slides! Furthermore, just beautiful houses that are nice and comfortable. Sometimes we missed some activities because sometimes we didn't have anything to do, but cerder. Nice park

Most beautiful holiday park in the Netherlands, but you also pay a little more for that. Is it worth it.

We don't get any more apples after 4 days, which is a shame.

A very nice facility with nice and well equipped houses. The park is very clean and the whole staff very friendly. However, the pool is overcrowded on weekends and it is not fun there. On weekdays it was very pleasant there.

We have been coming here for almost 20 years. But the interior downstairs is for crying. Chairs ugly and saggy. The kitchen baseboards fell over. And even more so about the super dirty windows, not worthy of a resort. An 8p.luxe. and that luxury. was hard to find. You actually pay for the water park. The beds were fine. But the bathrooms also need renovation. Doubt if I come back here after 20 years. Poorly maintained and badly cleaned. Unfortunately!!!

Fantastic holiday parc. Very luxurious and activities for everybody, even if you don t want any activity at all. The staff is amazingly friendly and that is probably the most important thing to come back to.

Great place for the family rain or shine and one of the biggest water parks of its kind in Europe. Clean and friendly.

What did we enjoy and especially the kids had a great time here.

Great service service and employees walk right in front of you. Hope to do various guests and everything for the children. The landscaped beach is also clean and there are garbage bins everywhere.

What a nice place. Fantastic facilities for children from 0 to 16 years. Swimming pool is nice, but smaller than at the conculegas. Other activities and facilities are, however, many times better. Very beautiful indoor playgrounds and areas for tinkering. Other activities are better and more diverse than elsewhere. Really recommended.

Beautiful atmospheric location and very nice luxury bungalows

Great park, quite modern as well. The pool is not big, but the lazy river was really nice (especially at night). There is an option for renting under water scooters too.

The city of Groningen is only a 30 minute drive and definitely worth seeing.

Slightly expensive. But value for money. Very kid friendly.

Beautiful, super well equipped house close to playground. Not too big field, but many amenities. Good app. Bicycles in all sizes for rent.

Beautiful park. Had a wonderful stay. A lot to do for children, young and old. House very clean and fully equipped (comfort house). Service is very good and staff are friendly.

The park was neat, well maintained. Looked clean. Staff very friendly, service very good. Food and drink tasty. House large, beautiful, only the cleaning could be better. There were still red wine stains and chocolate stains on the tables. Maybe exchange fabric sofa for a leather sofa for hygiene. Still ran into hair from the previous tenants. And be more careful that people walk their dog in the place that is intended for it. Bumped into a doggie in the grass where the kids are playing.

Super nice holiday park where everything is adapted to children.

Clearly a park of higher quality. Nice houses with good decor. Good facilities, spectacular slides in the pool. Lots of entertainment for children. For the price you pay you would expect that more things are included or for a lower fee. Mini golf for example costs 6.50 pp, which is almost 40 for 6 people. Bowling costs 21. And the slot machines for children also eat a euro per game. Have children buy 5 euro coins and play 10x a game. Catering is also better than other parks. Broader range and better food. Although many dishes on the menu were always used up and other dishes were frayed. This really has to be better, Hof v Saksen. You are clearly doing your best and there is a difference with other parks, but these are still some serious areas for improvement.

Beautiful holiday park. Belongs to the top of the Netherlands! Everything has been thought of. Cottages are beautiful with nice beds. There is plenty to do for children of all ages. Highly recommended

Great for families. Nice relaxed atmosphere with nice facilities and plenty to do for children. My kids loved it here, both times that we have been, and we will probably return.

Very child friendly, there is something for every weather. Houses are well equipped! Unfortunately no dog meadow in the park! Fast service if a problem occurs in the house. Happy holidays again in the park!

Well... I would say that this place would be great for Family Vacation. You have youre own villas and houses which are quite big, with a second floor for the bedroom. These are the following sizes

Four person house: 2 bathrooms 2bedrooms
Six person house: 3 bathrooms 3bedrooms

Decide which u would prefer for breakfast, u could Cook at home, or go to a cafe, and get served at home at 8:30am.
Enviroment:
First of all Holland is a bike lover country, so they have bike rentals to bike around the place. They have a mini grocery store which includes, snacks and cookies, cooking supplies, plushies, and fresh fruits and veggies. So this is the most fun place for everyone, its the SWIMMING POOL!! They have about 5 pools, 2 big 2 small and one kiddie, from professional to kiddie. Scuba dive and more. They have 3 scary slides, Bombo, Presto and Intenso, they also have a Wild River Slide which is outside, and goes from slow to fast, with a strong stream.

So that was all the thing u could do in Hof van Saksen, all summarized by me.

You can stay in a house, which is perfect if you are with a large number. There is a pool, you can dine in the different restaurants, play in the arcade hall, and there is a indoor play area for children.
