Good food at Gusto for our 12 year wedding anniversary, we are surprised with a nicely made up dessert plate! Thanks to the employees!

Nice house, many facilities and activities, the house could be a little cleaner.

Beautiful and well-kept houses with excellent design. Park itself is very neat and quiet, the main building is nicely decorated and has many different places where you can eat and drink something. The pool is perfect, spacious and the whitewater course outside great, even with light frost outside!

Very nice park. We are guests for the second time. Kids and parents love it! Restaurants are quite highly priced, but I guess that's the concept.

Just great! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. One big paradise for children. And they serve good food.

Beautiful park with well-kept houses. The swimming pool is very special with four slides.
Harrewar (the indoor playground) is also beautiful and fun to play in the food is good there too.
Here you can also eat well.
That should certainly succeed with 4 restaurants.
It is also beautiful here in summer. With a lake and a beach, it is also a good place to be here in summer.
The beds are comfortable and the house is well furnished.
The style is consistent and gives a relaxed feeling.
It is spacious and clean everywhere.

It is definitely recommended, but it is on the expensive side.
The quality-price ratio is certainly good.

Most beautiful luxury holiday park in the Netherlands. What a hospitality, true relaxation and enjoyment.

Unfair and greedy company. We booked for spring 2020 one year earlier. Due to Covid, Hof Van Saksen closed; however they didn t want to reimburse us. They forced us to take a voucher for a next occasion. We booked for autum 2020. The prices were way more expensive for the same house: from 950 Euro to 1.350 Euro and less service, as the pools can only be used for 1,5 hours per day. We requested again a refund since this was not what we booked. After having to escalate to the European Commission mediation services, they refund only the initial 950 Euros. We lost 400 Euros for nothing, we didn t use the services exclusively because Hof Van Saksen closed, and still we had to take an unjust economic toll.

Beautiful holiday park. Put down for way too much money, but now offers enough value for money. Certainly a lot to experience for older children. Many unique things and architecture. Great park to stay for a week.

Very nice park and well cared for. The spacious layout is very pleasant, a pity that there is no parking space at the cottages. The result is that people still park along the road.

The swimming pool itself is not very exciting, but they have solved that very well by the 3 large slides and the whitewater course that runs outside.

The restaurants are great and the pizzaria is a full-fledged Italian.

The children's area Harrewar is very nice. I particularly appreciate the edutainment offer!

So much positive. Negative are the cabins. On the terrace, the canopy is in such a way that one constantly and repeatedly bumps his head. The stairs are also very steep and therefore dangerous. Complaints at a high level. But I still have a headache from the patio roof ...

Beautiful and well-kept park, excellent accommodation, excellent service

Nice and nice swimming pool, unfortunately we were not allowed to walk in the whitewater course, but what we did like is that all slides are named after coffee, with 60 km per hour through the Presto, the Intenso was less intense than expected, but the Bombo made up for it again. Climbing stairs is a pity, we counted 112 steps, so you are certainly tired after a day of sliding in the Hof van Saske. But a super experience, we will certainly go more often. Other swimming pools are becoming boring by Hof van Saske. 4 reits, if there is a lift in the slide tower it becomes 5 reits. We cannot wait until the last slide is placed. Very curious

Have the beginning of October with the family, 5 adults, 3 children 2-12 years, the first time to test this resort for a week. Conclusion: just great !! Our house for 8 people was spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything. The area generously designed, lots of space to romp, everywhere small, great playgrounds, swimming lake, swimming area, restaurants, a well-stocked grocery store. An indoor playground, mini golf, etc. Best, try it out for yourself. If you want to explore the area, it is worth to drive into the city of Assen or visit the great zoo in Emmen.

Expensive and very dirty. All door knobs stuck, kettle was completely calcified bath and toilet still dirty (visit 2017). Too bad, when we were there a year earlier it was perfect. Ideal with small children. Probably spending cuts on cleaning? Even after reporting to reception and once again the cleaning came by it was not much cleaner.

Great beautiful park. Nice houses with nice beds (Auping). The swimming pool is amazing. Plenty of fun things to do for children and youth. The food in the different restaurants is good.

It was one of the best vacation there .Nice experience staying in the resort

Beautiful spacious bungalow park. Lots of recreation, water and a brutal-looking slide from the indoor pool.

Pretty nice family holiday park. You feel like you have arrived in a rustic village, really pleasant layout. The accommodation is modern inside and of a good standard. The facilities are great for families, everything is just as it should be, safe and fun. We stayed during a quiet time, not sure how it will be in the busy summer season.

Stay was good but not really clean enough.
Furthermore, nice park with many activities and facilities, but for such an expensive park it is very disappointing that almost all activities are against (hefty) payment.

Satisfied and returning guest of HvS for 15 years. Enjoy again this week, houses are very nice, quality restaurants very good, facilities for young and old top and the friendliness and service of the staff at the park is really worth a big compliment, chapeau!

Hof van saxony is a wonderful holiday park. Very nice houses (though you can see that they are getting a bit dated) with fantastic (auping) beds. So if you want to relax in a nice place, do it here. The water park with all the slides is great.

Nice environment, very clean house. With beach, bike rental and vehicles for kids. The slides in the pool are great. If you eat yourself should bring something. There is a supermarket there but everything is more expensive.

They have bad internet and you can only do something if you are lucky

I find it a very customer friendly park. The cottages look neat. There are also not too many houses next to each other like at other holiday parks. There is so lots of nature. There is plenty to do in the park and much is also free.

Lousy camping! Get sewn in front of you. Sent from site 2 nights earlier because people were smoking outside! Separate camping! Beautiful Bombo!

Great, the houses are clean! The bedding does not stink of chemistry, only to be recommended!

The best holiday park I have ever visited. We spent an extended weekend here. We didn't even have to leave the park. Our house was in top condition. The staff was very friendly. Almost all of the employees speak German, and if necessary, English was always used.

Our highlight was the swimming pool with its many slides. A reason for us to come back. Our children could romp around in many activities. Trampoline football training and climbing as well as other activities require registration, but you save long waiting times. The prices in the hotel, spa and supermarket are completely okay and correspond to offers in Germany.

If you do not want to cater for yourself, you can either go out for a chic meal, have a meal in the gastfoodstore or have a pizza delivered.

Conclusion: all around relaxing days ... gladly again

Expectations have been fulfilled! Lovely park; spacious houses, well maintained, everywhere thought of the children, many amenities, nice staff. Nothing to complain about. Really focused on children so if you come for your rest ...

Fine Landal park. Also not overcrowded in high season. Great restaurants. For a supermarket you can best go to the nearby Rolde (= 3km).

Bung. Reserved via site. Clearly find all the info. Easily order groceries.Boerderij de luxe 6 people. Was super clean on arrival and groceries neatly in the fridge. Very friendly welcome at reception. Everything taken care of to perfection. A big 10.

Nice neat and clean park, house was not clean at first, but after a call is well and quickly resolved.

Super park with beautiful clean houses. Spacious and a beautiful indoor and outdoor pool. Good restaurants, nice beach and nice indoor and outdoor playgrounds. There is a lot to do for young and old!

Absolutely not recommended for the price. The service is only good if you complain. Buffet offer at breakfast and dinner buffet quite meager. In the Technology Academy, the employees do not feel responsible and can not even get a chair for our child. Many seats were occupied by adults. Father, mother and grandparents have to watch a child The term luxury resort is far from given here. Compared to other Landal Parks, this is not among the top 3 in our country. Only the slides are a highlight. The "air mattresses" for the slides you have to carry yourself up. Even for those with the big funnel ....... there must already be an adult or adolescent with it. All in all we were the first and last time here.

Nice and well-kept park. All desirable facilities are present. Staff is very friendly and helpful even in the middle of the night. There is so much to do in the vicinity of the park (dolmens, gnome land, wildlands, etc.). We will definitely be back.
