Very pleasant and friendly staff throughout the holiday park. Wide choice of accommodation for young and old. Cottages are beautifully and well furnished. Certainly enough material present in the kitchen to make food yourself. Nice supermarket with tasty and fresh products. We are very satisfied and will definitely come back! Highly recommended to do with the whole family! We have had a great time ..

Everything nice to do for children all kinds of academies. Baking. Sewing academy. And much more.

It is a great holiday park. Child-friendly, but there is also a lot to do for adults and young people (or not at all). The area also offers numerous opportunities for entertainment. The service is good and the cottages are clean and comfortable. In short, great.

Hof van Saksen looks beautiful and is well cared for. My son really enjoyed it there. The employees are very friendly.

Neat park, one of the better in NL. Houses neatly clean and large. Service and customer-friendly also top. In times of Corona everything is well and neatly arranged. Supermarket can get everything at reasonable prices. A fantastic park for children.

What a beautiful main building, it really feels like a hotel. Fast check-in and clear information.

The cottage (6 persons) was well furnished and is fine for a 4 adult, 2 children and a baby.
The gas stove was a nice addition. The cottage was clean.

The pool feels like a health resort and has almost everything. The only lack is a quiet slide (baby / toddler slides are available)
Herl friendly staff.

The indoor playground really is a wonderful addition to the park and all activities such as the trampoline jumping are well organized.

This park is definitely recommended for families!

Upscale holiday park. Service good. House clean. Traffic calmed. Extensive.

Nice place. Calm environment. Especially nice for children under 12 years. But there is also plenty to do for older children.

Very nice facility and houses. Super program offer and Einichtumgen. But also has its price.

Too bad about Corona that times were limited to plan things. My compliments for letting it continue in blocks so that you always got a job. Nice park, nice bungalows, friendly staff where nothing was ever too much for if you had a question. Good food at the park and the pizzas they brought home were super tasty. The pool staff also top notch. Was in a wheelchair and I was well taken care of. Because I could not swim but still be there with the grandsons. I was offered water. Beautiful park. Especially in the fall with beautiful colors of trees. Unloading and loading at the house and then the car in the central parking lot. As a result, few cars in the park.
Beautiful cottages. Clean and equipped with a lot of luxury. Welcome packs are useful for a relaxed start.
There are many activities in the park. Few of them are for nothing. Often still pay for materials or use.
Very large and beautiful swimming pool. Something for everyone.
Handy for shopping in Gieten. Village at about 15 minutes drive with Jumbo (best of the north), Lidl, Hema, Kruidvat and even an Action. Very practical.
In short; recommended!

Perfect park for young families. Restaurants but overpriced. The swimming pool is a paradise for children.

Room and facilities great, but could be significantly cleaner. Ggf problem large arrival / departure days due to the many bed changes. Service & staff but very helpful and dedicated.

Restaurant prices completely disproportionate, food was very good. Food for two adults, a child and a toddler sometimes well over 100 (no alcoholic drinks).

Forget about Center Parcs! the additional cost is well worth it. Nice farms, nicely decorated, great swimming pool, lots of entertainment.

A dream for the kids. ..
The Dutch know exactly how to do it! The staff and the entertainers are ALWAYS very friendly and helpful. The offer for children is very varied and ideally suited for all ages between 3 and 12. This is our third time here and we will definitely come back again. This Landalpark is mainly visited by Dutch people, there are a few German visitors, may be because the park is not by the sea. But there is a huge lake with a beach and a great indoor swimming pool with a wild water slide and, since this year, a fast and fun indoor water slide world. With a long weekend or a whole week there is definitely no boredom here. There are also a lot of offers outside the resort, but we haven't taken advantage of them yet ...

In summary:
It is very worthwhile to book a few days of relaxation here.

As part of Landal Greenparks, Hof van Saksen has been laid out in a beautiful park in the province of Drenthe.
Hof van Saksen has beautiful bungalows in a car-free park and has various facilities such as a park shop, children's activities, swimming pool and various restaurants.

Especially nowadays, people everywhere work according to the rules of the RIVM regarding Covid 19.

At first glance it looks beautiful! The cottage is beautiful and large and fully equipped. I think we will definitely enjoy the coming days here.

Very nice houses, clean and tidy outside, nice pool

It is a great holiday park, very beautiful, a super nice swimming pool and good food in the various restaurants. We also had a lot of pouling and went to bounze. Small minus point was that there was a hole in some beds. Furthermore, had a great time.

Poor to not cleaned, price quality is hard to find. Sanitary sober and dirty. Cheap shower curtain is the shower corner, beds were poor.

Beautiful and quiet domain .... however, the pool could use something new.

For a relaxing weekend or midweek you have come to the right place. Families with young children do not have to worry, there are quite a lot of activities for the little ones. Swimming pool, indoor playground, arts and crafts academy, mini golf etc. The cottages are clean and fully equipped.

Beautiful houses, friendly and everything well organized. Due to closed activities by Covid-19, there is a delicious bar of chocolate in the house. We get a free breakfast service, dinner (pasta, pizza or gourmet) and we can also choose a family game in the shop. Really nice.

Nice park! Spacious, nice houses. Had a wonderful midweek with our daughter of 1.5 years. We will definitely come back here.

We felt completely comfortable. The house was beautiful, big and clean. The swimming pool was great with small children and all staff exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Clean accommodations equipped with every convenience and upon arrival there is also a package with Nespresso cups and tea as well as a box with all kinds of cleaning products.

In the Noordermarkt you can basically buy anything, the supermarket is a bit more expensive than the local one. Logical too!

To top it all off, we received a surprise on behalf of Hof van Saksen, just like that: A breakfast with fresh orange, warm eggs, sandwiches, spreads, a newspaper. Simply TOP!

Swimming pools are new, very clean and even the staff at the slides do not turn their hands around to look after your child (s) if you want to go down the slide together.

If you want a holiday, this is highly recommended! Thank you Hof van Saksen!

What a beautiful, fun and, above all, well-kept park with all the facilities you can and may expect from Hof van Saksen. All luxury for adults and children.

Location is nice, they could better prepare for the new visitors a lamp was broken and handles not cleaned. Swimming pool is good and employees are very nice

Well ... There the bar goes ... And now to other parks. That is going to be comparison.

There was quite a lot wrong with our farm, but everything was resolved quickly and correctly. Furthermore, many nice amenities and the feeling that everything is really thinking.

Very balanced offer for all age groups with children. The park and you houses are spacious and it doesn't feel overcrowded even during vacation periods. However, if you take it carefully, you will be delighted with the basic cleaning before taking over the house. We are satisfied with the overall package and are here for the second time.

The park itself is very nice in terms of houses and swimming pool. What really disappointed us was the food at la fresco. 32, 50 people were asked per person and the drink was not even included. Usually reasonable price for something like this, but this was very disappointing. Very limited choice, half of which was also cold. Absolutely ridiculous that they dare ask for such an amount. And when it was asked if everything was satisfactory and I said that the food was disappointing, it was not further addressed. Do not go to this restaurant.

Is a very nice park but had more football / basketball courts. The free time activated are nice. The food is delicious. I can only recommend Hof von Saksen

Beautiful houses and good play and swimming facilities for children and adults. The fitness room does have old equipment, but needs to be renewed.

Landal holiday park! Luxurious and beautiful and completely complete. Lots to do and experience, including many fun things to do in the vicinity of the park. Recommended!

Excellent staff, cozy cottages and everything you need in the park

Been here for lunch and we expected more. With a toasted goat cheese I expect a little more decoration than two white toasted sandwiches with a ball of cheese in between ... Very unfortunate, especially for the high prices they charge. Price quality ratio is lost!
In that regard, we regret that we didn't just eat a cup of coffee and a cake, because the cakes looked really good.
The surroundings and decoration of the restaurant are doing well.

Good service, nice houses, good supervised swimming pool, very large arcade, lots of entertainment for the children and several restaurants. There is even a good supermarket. What more do you want, we come here every year since it became Landal!

Beautiful houses, especially the children's home where we are. Furthermore, the entire park is very nice for children. Staff is friendly and the food is tasty!

Park and accommodation very nice. Too bad you have to pay for almost everything, and the prices in the shop are very high.
