Lovely swimming pool with super cool slides. Nice domain. You can order food there that they will deliver to your house and it is very well done (eg gourmet with meat, greens, sauce, ... All included). Cottages are also very beautiful. Always shower and bath included. Houses have 2 levels: living room and kitchen downstairs, bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Highly recommended !

We were there in January 2020. What a friendly staff everywhere. Cottages nicely cared for only a bit draughty. Nice pool and ball pit. Plenty to do for the Kids. Had a very nice weekend just a pity that it is so pricey ... otherwise we came more often ...

This was not the first time I was a guest at this facility this year, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. My children, grandchildren and I had booked 2 houses, both were not really clean, so the bathtub was thick with dirt, the couch and the crumbs from the previous tenants, pillows apparently had not been washed for a long time, etc .. Booked and paid extras did not work, e.g. Change of towels, delivery of breakfast. The development of the facility also shows that the focus simply excludes smaller children. The beach area is due to the under-dimensioned area and inadequate
Possibilities to set up parasols are not recommended.
Basically a good system for vacation with children. It is not clear to me here whether the line has simply changed or what led to the shortcomings this year. OK, there were a few shortcomings last year too, but they weren't that serious ... and who's perfect?

Many in- and outdoor voir for both small and larger children. Swimming paradise is really great for children with a swimming diploma !!

Better than a well-known park operator here in Germany

What an insanely relaxing park this is. From swimming to crafts. From climbing to the railway academy. From walking in the countryside around the park to the regional products in the shop.

For the kids, however, the pool is worth a 6 stars. What cool slides. The outdoor whitewater course is a must to do at least 10 times. Even in the evenings it is great to enjoy the outdoors. The wellness is also a must. Wonderful massage.

The park is also a good walk with all the beautiful statues of Harms Rolde.

Not to forget the good restaurants in the park. Delicious eaten and drunk.

Also experienced as very positive the friendliness and hospitality of all employees. Everyone is just so nice to you.

In other words, you celebrate your holiday at Hof van Saksen

Very nice park with luxury farmhouses from large to small. Nice center with all conceivable facilities from swimming pool to arcade-hall and mini golf to bike rental, children's play palace and countless activities you can participate in. Had a great weekend !!

Best holiday park in the Netherlands. Super spacious and lots of nature everywhere.
It is completely full and yet not at all the feeling that it is busy ...
There is really everything here, from bowling to renting bicycles, from abseiling to canoeing, from Fashion academy to Timmer academy.
Different restaurants, from Rapido the snack bar to Fresco.
Europe's longest water slide and every morning at 9 a.m. there is water scooters like James Bond does ...

incredibly beautiful park with good facilities. only drawback is that the slides are only from 1.2 meters. the little ones then only have a whitewater course that they quickly look forward to

A beautiful place with very attentive and just staff. The facilities for children of all ages are top-notch and well maintained. Something for everyone. Furthermore, the beach ball is lovely with good weather and the indoor swimming pool is of course completely top with the wild water on and 4 challenging slides. Not to mention the cottages are perhaps the best. Very quiet. You hardly hear the neighbors and the area around the houses is spacious.

Lots to do for children, there is art on the wall (for sale), friendly staff. It was busy in the restaurants, but yes Christmas break.

Beautiful houses and pleasant staff, beautifully maintained park and pleasant surroundings.

Very nicely laid out luxury resort. We had rented the house 12 CE - Culinarium and lived there with 11 people. The equipment is of high quality, nothing is missing. Professional kitchen equipment with 3 modern ovens, 2 dishwashers, a large gas stove and a separate grill plate enables up to 20 guests to be catered for. Sufficient dishes, glasses and cutlery are available. A powerful gas / infrared grill with 4 burners is available outside. Sufficient comfortable seating is also available and the children can fully develop on the large lawn. The service was professional and quick. We used it twice, for gas bottle replenishment and for the delivery of 2 large parasols. Everything worked smoothly.
The cleanliness in the house was excellent.
The shopping opportunities in the resort's own supermarket are limited by a relatively small range and very high prices. You should better use the large supermarkets in the vicinity, which can be reached in about 15 minutes, for bulk purchases.
You can also drive onto the site at any time without any problems. There is no control with a barrier and porter.
The possibilities for recreational and sporting activities are almost unlimited. The park offers something for everyone.

The stay was good, only the sloping thatched roofs were a crime for me. As for the pool, this is nothing special. This is because this is not subtropical.

Had a fantastic weekend. Cottages are very spacious and equipped with all necessary luxury. Slightly low-budget finish indoors. On the outside it looked like a beautiful "villa". Inside a bit old-fashioned and the furniture somewhat dated. That does not mean that we had a good time and my negatives did not outweigh the excellent overall picture. 5 stars. Tip for the "park manager". You do not have to mention this constantly. It makes you less stately than you think.

Very modern resort. I feel really good here. It is very nice, near a nice village. It is only a bit remote from the nearest major city. The rooms here are very nice and the service is very good, not least because of the friendly staff.

Pleasant environment, very customer-oriented, comfortable luxury accommodation with an eye for detail. Above all, a paradise for the children and therefore also for the parents.

Hof van Saksen is a pleasant and high-quality resort. There is a lot to do, especially for children, and the adults don't have to get bored either. A nice swimming pool with a spectacular slide. The restaurants have a good price / quality ratio. The farms are luxuriously furnished and fully equipped. Will be happy to come back here.

Hof van saksen, was a very beautiful park. In the park itself there were many activities such as a swimming pool, football field, bounz, outdoor playground and a hang-out for young people. The location was close to the city of Groningen / Axes where you drove quickly. The service was very good as we dropped a glass of red wine on the carpet one night. But that was funded by the court of Saxony.

Nice park, but the cottages are furnished fairly standard. Exterior is beautiful! Very well cared for Park and with very good service.

Great beautiful holiday resort, with a beautiful tropical swimming pool, for all ages, the event hall is great too, I loved the corner where the sewing machines are, for hugs, bags, pillows, etc. too crazy too. You will not be bored there.

Hof van Saksen offers the extras that you miss at another 'normal' holiday resort. You feel like a guest here because you really are treated like a guest. With all (special) wishes, the employees think along with you. You will never be disappointed. The farms are all attractively furnished and you will not miss anything; complete crockery, enough seats, etc. With the double box springs there is even a double topper with a double duvet. We come back here every year for a midweek.

Everything is just a bit better than other parks I've been to. Food at the park is also very good.

The park (accommodation, food, etc.) is more expensive than other holiday parks, but you get enough in return. Staff is also very friendly.

It is a very nice holiday park, very luxurious and many facilities, definitely recommended!

Houses difficult to reach by car. Unloading and loading luggage is therefore a drama, especially when it rains. There is nowhere decent parking in the park, but dare to ask more than 2000 euros, in a park where almost everything is closed.

So much to do with and for children. The area is beautiful. The food in the restaurants is delicious and hygienically prepared. The staff is friendly. I only have positive experiences with Hof van Saksen and I will probably return more often!

Great park, well cared for. We were the first in the new attractions. Gives real added value. The park itself ensures that it does not get too busy, so no extreme waiting times. The houses are due for renewal in terms of interior. Benches served, kitchens on the cheap side. Does not suit the rest of the park in terms of exclusive appearance (and ditto pricing).

It is a great park, the road chic and a car-free park. It is located in one of the corners of the Netherlands, so there is no large village or town nearby.

The ideal place to relax for families with children. Very clean and well-kept, houses are well equipped, great program for children (various academies and swimming pool with slides), appealing spa and wellness area (from 16 years), supermarket and restaurants offer a good selection.

Service is very good, very nice park and perfect for kids. The swimming pool is very nice, but even better if you are 8 or older. The fact that the world's largest water slide is here is, of course, excellent.
