Very nice pool, and the new slides are great. The outside slide that was already there is also still fun. We had been swimming here as a day guest. Unfortunately it has become very expensive at 32.50 but you will get 2 more tokens with it.

This FIVE STAR rating is not related to extravagant luxury, 8 course dinners, or Petrus wines. This rating has to do with how pleasant this park is. Great people who truly understand what it means to work in hospitality!
We stayed with 3 families, 6 adults + 5 kids in a double farmhouse. It was definitely spacious enough, it had all the necessary appliances, a huge flat screen t.v., bathroom with a large bath and a separate shower comfortable beds....
Everything was very clean, the lawns were mowed.
A small supermarket added all the things we could need for our breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Horseback riding
Biking
Kids club
And of course a couple of really nice indoor pools, with a choice of fast and scary (but safe) waterslides! WONDERFUL!!
We went for New Years, and I would live to go back in summertime.

Hof van Saksen is a holiday park with a special focus on young families who are offered a lot here. The accommodations are kept simple and have a TV and couch as well as a Bluray and DVD player. In addition, each accommodation has an extra storage room for bicycles or roof racks. The kitchen is also in the living room and is equipped with gas stove, microwave, fridge including small freezer and dishwasher. Unfortunately, I missed the stove here ... The park itself is spacious and you feel free and relaxed. The individual artificial lakes and playgrounds in between reinforce this feeling. But a real thorn in the eye is the food on site: The individual theme-based restaurants not only bribe with a small selection but also with hefty prices. Even the "fast food restaurant" Rapido is anything but that: For an order of 2 burgers and fries we had to wait 45 minutes without our staff would have pointed to longer waiting times ... The finally finished burgers turned out to be very small (comparable to McDonalds Burgers of the base area) and absolutely overpriced there (7.50 euros should cost). As far as food is concerned, you should therefore return to local facilities or self-catering. But the high prices also apply to other park attractions such as bowling or the bike rental. All in all, I'm rather dissatisfied and will make a new destination for the next vacation.

Nice park! With good houses. You can sleep well here. There is a nice swimming pool at this park. This swimming pool has a whitewater course that goes outside. So certainly not a boring pool. It is also nice that there is a large lake in the park! You can swim in the summer!

Excellent! Here you can enjoy a carefree holiday. Super beautiful, large 6p farms equipped with every luxury. Very clean and everything has been thought of. Lovely Auping beds (What a relief compared to Centerparcs). The only things they could improve on: screens for the tilt and turn windows, children's cutlery, and sunbeds for the terrace. Otherwise really perfect. Also beautiful surroundings.

Houses less luxurious than expected. Swimming pool with four spectacular slides. They may do something more with paper information. We received a lot of irrelevant information but, for example, no opening times on paper

Great park for families. The swimming pool with its slides is incredibly exciting. There are a lot of free activities for big and small that are really fun, like archery. If you do not want to cook, the more expensive restaurant is highly recommended. The price is worth it. Especially the breakfast buffet.

One of the best, if not the best, holiday parks for families. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and customer-focused staff, lots to do in and around the park for practically all ages.
We went for a week before the swimming pool and water slides were completely renewed, but even back then we were positively surprised by the park. So much so that we are already planning our next visit.

Spacious houses with wonderful couch and gas heater. Everything in the house and park is clean. The fenced meadow for the dog at the parking is also ideal. Furthermore, the new slides are great.

It was excellent. I was there in the week before the summer holidays and therefore it was pretty empty. The swimming pool is the main attraction there and it is very fun.

You pay a little more for this park, but I think it's really worth the extra price. Fitness is included, beds are covered, towels are included, cottage with all the trimmings, indoor playground, outdoor activities, very well trained staff, nice swimming pool etc etc.

Outside is a lake with a beach and a large playground with activities.
Crafts, saws, trampolines, indoor playground, bowling, crossbow shooting, in short, plenty to do.

The house of very clean and tidy. And neatly decorated and not too full.
The pool is beautiful, but I would have wanted to go to the bombo again.

It is a luxury holiday resort with comfortably furnished houses and with excellent facilities.

Plus: Modern, beautiful, lots to do, luxury, new. Min: quite a few minor defects in the house

As a Saksen yard beginner (and years CP vacationer) I am very positively surprised. Super child friendly. Well organized, top accommodations. Swimming pool is clean and well maintained. Great slides. Price-performance is ok. I have not tested restaurants, but I could cook well with the children in the house. Grill is not available, had one with. Whether you can borrow one? For the children there are all sorts of events. In short, we'll definitely be back.

Heelijk, quiet and extensive park. You can do everything here. And rightly the best swimming pool with the coolest slides!

It remains a fantastic park, lots of fun activities and very friendly and customer-oriented staff. We have been here 8 times now, but we will definitely go back.

Spacious and beautifully designed park. You can see from everything that you are not dealing with a standard holiday park here. The houses are very spacious and well finished, the catering is of a higher quality in both looks and menu and the activity spectrum is more unique and broader. Staff are very welcoming and always have a friendly word on hand.

Had a 4 person petting zoo, recommended if you have children in the age of 0-5 years. Separate nursery with changing table and crib and separate room for the toddler / toddler with nice bunk bed. Master bedroom with wide bed. Bathroom also spacious with both shower and bath. In the hallway a basket with toys for kids to play outside and in the living room all kinds of things with a separate seat where children can enjoy themselves inside. This was very well received by our little man.

Location of our house (685) was ideal, close to all amenities and playground literally in the backyard.

Is everything perfect then? No, not that. As far as the supermarket is concerned, there is more than enough choice, but the opening hours may be slightly longer, if only to get sandwiches before 8 am. In addition, we would have liked to see some extra pillows as the pillows on the bed were very soft. If everything is so premium, that should - as far as we are concerned - logically apply to bed linen as well. Finally - because of Corona - there is a need to reserve many things. Too bad but understandable, but the system does not work completely. You can make a reservation, but the confirmation never comes. This regularly led to some discussion whether or not we had made a reservation. Making a screenshot after confirmation does solve this though ...

Hof van Saksen is not cheap, but here you get a great experience in return, where price / quality ratio is well balanced.

Holiday park hui, house ugh!

The holiday park and all public areas are really great! There is a lot to experience here for children and toddlers alike - a lot at no additional cost. The service was always very friendly throughout the park. There is a new playground on every corner - very good!

However, the house is already getting on in years! Everything is really badly worn. The doors always hit the frame, so you have to make every effort not to wake up the children. Plaster falls from the wall behind the cabinets in 20 cm pieces. The furniture is badly worn. The house was not cleaned properly (table stuck, dirt was here and there). And in our children's farmhouse there weren't even child-safe sockets! The stairs are actually much too steep for adults, but then offering it as a children's farmhouse is not ok. In addition, our house, which was intended for up to eight people, didn't even have a proper oven (just a microwave with poor heating function).

If something were to be invested in the houses here, we would love to come back and immediately give it 5 stars, because the park itself is great!

Advantage:
Lots to do for children! Playgrounds (indoor and outdoor) inflatables, slides, trampolines, workshops, bowling, mini golf, swimming (4 pools, 2 especially for small kids) etc etc.

Cottages are very spacious and luxurious, everything is there that you need.

There is plenty to do around the park, the area here is really beautiful.

A large beach with free sun beds and umbrellas.

Cons:
Our house was poorly cleaned (and certainly if you look a little closer at the cupboards etc) ... When we wanted to vacuum ourselves, we had a look at what it looked like inside .. We were shocked! I think they had never changed the bag in the last 2 years (yuck). Finally had to call the reception 4 times (!!) before it was exchanged .. For another vacuum cleaner with a full bag in it.

We should pay a little more attention to cleaning. Lift the sofa ... Steam the duvets etc.

The extraction switches on automatically and is in turbo mode. It kind of sounds like you are on an airplane.
No possibility to take it off yourself.

The best holiday park in all of Holland! Service is perfect, the houses and the system a dream! We come back every year! Unfortunately, the prices go up, but investments are made. The children's houses are great but unfortunately also expensive. There are also the simpler houses, they are just as cozy and comfortable. Also highly recommended in December! Everywhere nice and warm, the houses with cozy, child-proof chimneys and the swimming pool are also super warm. The white water rink is usable and fun!
