Excellent service. I was with my daughter who was in a knee brace from a gymnastics injury. Met a docent on the first floor and asked how to get to our seats. She escorted us all the way to our seats and even checked on my daughter at intermission. I only wish I got her name to compliment her here.

Having grown up in Houston I have been to many shows at the Hobby Center, and I can't think of one time in which I was disappointed with either the staff, or the show. I feel lucky to live in a city that appreciates the theater and always has something to offer.

I took my family to see the Houston Ballet's performance of the Nutcracker and it was amazing! We spent the extra money on Valet since garage parking elevators were still not working since the food of Hurricane Harvey. The food at the Easter on the 2nd floor was surprisingly fabulous. It wasn't cheap, but that was to be expected. The sets, costumes and dancing was all top notch. It was the best Nutcracker we have seen to date!

Beautiful center, nice restrooms. Entry was well organized, however, intermission seemed a bit chaotic. I am hot natured and while I was cool in the lobby, it was too warm for me during the production. Luckily, even on a cool evening event, I wore a sleeveless dress with a sweater that I was able to remove. Our seats were in Central Orchestra, Row U, seats 103 & 104.

Their ticketing process tricks you into thinking you're buying the best seat in the price level, but actually it's the worst! Then they charge you $3.50 more to print your ticket at your own expense at home.

As a Long Island native, I ve seen lots of shows on Broadway. My standards are high and my expectation was slightly lower than what I was used to. The hobby center exceeded my expectations. I have been to lots of shows and the facility is wonderful.

Saw WICKED at this theatre. Everything was very organized and easy to get to. Sound quality was good and our view from the mezzanine level was unobstructed. The only difficulty is with the parking structure. It can get rather congested and is confusing to navigate since it's an underground passageway of parking lots and tunnels. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to park and get to the theater before show time (45 minutes to 1 hour). Even valet takes awhile since there's a very long line.

Wowowow we came to the hobby center to watch Spring Awakening and it was fantastic. Beautiful auditorium with the stars shining overhead throughout the musical. It was a great experience

The food was disappointing but the theatre was very nice. The ushers were a little rude but the service staff were very nice. I did pre order drinks for halfway and they were ready and waiting for us, but it was disappointing to see that all the drinks everyone ordered was on one table with a napkin with my name and others name on them... Anyone could have picked up my drink and what if there was more than one person with my name? No one was there to keep it organized or hand them out. Totally nuts.

If you're a normal-sized human, you will be uncomfortable in these tiny seats. Sound quality is not great inside. The staff was exemplary though. It's a clean nice place but the seating and legroom is horrible!

Great faculty, wonderful shows, bad parking.

Great faculty, wonderful shows, bad parking.

Here's the thing about the parking. Don't use the valet service unless you want to spend a lot or like waiting. I have *heard* that if you pre-tip the valet a $20 you might get a spot up front. Otherwise you're going to be put in with all the rest and it will take a while for them to get your car. A long while.

You are much better to park in the underground area. It actually saves cash and you'll get out faster.

The trick is getting there **early**. Give yourself 30 minutes extra. Slide in easy, take a leisurely stroll through the lobby, use the restroom, and saunter to your seats. Its such a better experience to have time to enjoy yourself. Otherwise, your going to be the people all hot and upset, that everyone else will be staring at and making fun of.
