Great. Every one must visit at least one day. The theater season is here..
Great service. Drinks very expensive. Love the shows.
The Hobby Center is a great place to see musicals! When most recently came to see Hamilton with friends. The entire theatre district was packed, but the center did a few things to help things along - they offer the ability to order intermission drinks and snacks before the show starts. This was, when it's time for intermission, there is no wait in line as your drinks and snacks are lain out on a table.
However, drinks are fairly pricy, so consider that a cost to see such great shows
Great venue, very friendly people. Balcony seats were a little bit too firm. Hello Dolly was very enjoyable.
Clean, huge, place. I recommmend eating before or after food and drinks are super expensive
Beautiful place, staff is helpful and kind. We saw Wicked here and it was a wonderful experience even though we were running in as the chime was going off.
BATTLE BAYOU!!
Best Garage racing event in TEXAS!
Phantom was amazing.
Looking forward to seeing more productions
Watched Sleeping Beauty back in December and absolutely LOVED watching it! I have never been a person to enjoy plays, but this was very comical and kept my attention. The building itself is massive and well-kept. Employees have varying attitudes obviously, some being very nice and some being grouchy. Overall, if you want to see a play, be sure to visit their website and check out what will be playing.
What a scary dangerous place to get caught in the event of an emergency!
Seats now have drink cup holders. Drinks purchased there are now allowed inside theater. Very convenient.
Great theater for musicals. Great views of the stage at the lower levels.
The best I love this place and it's why I call Houston home.
That was my first time visiting the Hobby Center it was nice. I went to an play there.
Great venue with unobstructed sight lines. Nice amenities.
Great venue! Even with a packed house, it was possible to make a mad dash for the concession line during intermission and take a bathroom break. In other words, the facilities (ie concessions and bathrooms) are sized to handle the number of people the venue can hold.
Wonderful series of performances, but parking fills up fast.
Only went to get tickets for Paw Patrol Live....Pleasurable experience
Very nice center. Hasn't changed much in 20 years. The seats are uncomfortable, but the performances are wonderful. A pleasant place to take in some A+ performing arts.
I had a great time seeing the stage play "The Redemption of a Dog" featuring Snoop Dogg. Very nice auditorium. Snacks, drinks(and mixed drinks) and food in the lobbies. Second floor lobby seating (reserved) to socialize while waiting on show time. My first time at the Hobby Center and it was a great experience.
It was a great show and we had good seats. Overall, a wonderful experience
Enjoy the theater. Arrive early and expect a traffic jam when you leave. nbd.
Very nice place to spend the evening.
need more baby changing station and ramps, elevators. otherwise very nice place
Sleeping Beauty was the most entertaining show ever!!
I am so grateful that my friend dropped me off! Happy that the good folks at Hobby Center let me move to accommodate my fatigue....
Takes forever to leave the parking garage after a show. Otherwise, the venue is great. Sat in the mezzanine level but the venue was designed so that there was no trouble seeing or hearing from up top, unlike some other theaters I've been to.
I went here with my 3 year old to see Paw patrol live. We had a great time. It was easy to get to. We had a good view from our seats. I'd come back here for another show. Staff was very kind and professional.
Great location in the Houston theater district with a GREAT selection of shows.
Very comfortable, whenever I go to this place I have so much fun, and have good drinks !!
First time I've ever been there. It was actually pretty nice.
Great theater. Take a look at the ceiling! Parking can be difficult to get out of as when it's a full house.
Love seeing all the different performances here. We are season ticket holder and will continue to be!
Very crowded in the lobby but great restroom flow. The elevators are very slow.
Being a lifetime resident of Houston, I recall and mourn the old Coliseum and Music Hall. Still, the Hobby Center is gorgeous and a great venue full of good seats for music performances. The nosebleed seats are a bit remote for some stage performances.
Loved the show glad I was able to see it before it left.
I think I am officially in Like with musicals and plays!
Great venue however I think letting people bring snacks into the theater is distracting and so loud- opening bags spilling skittles and all during a show? Incredibly annoying.
My wife and I always have a great time when we go see one of the shows here. The show, atmosphere and the great staff allows for a very enjoyable evening out.
The front and back service of the drama is very professional.
It is a good place to see a Stage production. It has good restaurants but you probably need to make a reservations in advance. It is not inexpensive, but it can be a very nice evening out.
Great atmosphere and enjoyed the balcony seats just wish there was drunk service.
This is a lovely theater and the staff couldn't be better, from the front office to all the backstage people. Top notch!
Went to see Mamma Mia, the staff was excellent and very knowledgeable.
I've wanted to see "Phanton of the Opera" for over 20 years. What a wonderful performance. The cast was amazing and kept me on the edge of my seat. Parking for the event was $12. There were 3 garages within close walking distance. The center has an elevator and wheelchair entrance. Valet parking is also available. Cocktails and light snacks are available in the lobby for purchase.
Always an awesome time friendliest staff very helpful & the performances are always marvelous!
Great venue for the performing arts. I do recommend the valet. Trust me on this.
They put on marvellous shows. The staff is very professional and welcoming.
Entertainment,Live play's is what I and my friends mostly see here, plenty of parking below street level usually 12 dollars you can get drinks and snacks in lobby before Shows or during intermission,Staff ready and willing to help, restrooms easily accessible.
I was at The Hobby Center with my grand dtr who was on crutches due to a broken leg. I was overwhelmed with the kindness and consideration we were shown. From the time she got out of the car, there was someone asking if she needed a wheelchair, to the usher who seated her first before opening the doors to the general public due to the stairs she was going to have to navigate on the way to her seat, to the person who took our valet ticket to the head of the line so she wouldn't be standing too long. Thank you very much. Your thoughtfulness was very much appreciated.
