I go to the Hobby Center about 12 times a year. It is a great venue to watch shows. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because it takes so long to get out of the garage after a show. Worth it though to see such quality live theater in Houston!

Fantastic place for Houston theatrical events. There's parking at front and also valet parking. There's some restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful. They serve drinks, cocktails and some food. Plan your night out with the hobby centre.

The seating is not nearly as good as Jones Hall. And the no snack policy is suspect. You can bring a glass of wine back to your seat but God forbid you bring a concession-purchased package of Peanut M&Ms in?

First time here. Please don't bring any food or drinks it's not allowed. Ladies no purses a small crutch will do. Your bags will be searched.

Our seats on the 4th floor mezzanine was perfect. There wasn't a long bar wait. And seats are leveled high to where you arent looking at the back of anyone's head.

Went to see Wicked this week and it was amazing, the only down size was parking. Make sure you get there with plenty of time to spare because finding a spot in the garage will take forever.

Great theater in downtown Houston. Both Broadway and local shows are presented here. The theater itself is a top notch facility. Parking is available for a set rate and there is a restaurant in the theater building. I do recommend reservation's if it's show night.

Saw a traveling Broadway musical here. The seating process was smooth and the ushers were extremely helpful. Views from the Mezz were perfect and comfortable. There is a dedicated pickup lane for rideshare, making it easy to meet your ride. Overall, a well staffed and designed place to watch theater!

Catch a performance in the main or studio theatres, great food as well.

Enjoyed a Great Night Out in Beautiful Downtown Houston with Perfect Weather, and watched "Once On This Island Musical Theater" with my Son at The Hobby Center !

Nice venue, no food and overpriced drinks. Restroom situation is just dumb, only on the first floor.

This place is amazing, I would definitely come back to watch another play.

The theater was absolutely gorgeous. I was pleased with the seating. It seemed that no matter where a person sat, the view was good. To top it off, the food was phenomenal and even though you cannot take food into the theater, it was well worth it. I will definitely visit again.

Awesome performance space with great shows. There s free valet parking for Lexus s which makes parking easy. It s a beautiful performance space with helpful ushers. The concessions are pricey, but that s to be expected.

Wonderful modern theater in Houston. Easy aisles except the views. Only one set of restrooms is surprising and irksome.

This place has some of the best selections of musicals. The seating is great because you never have your view obstructed by people in front of you. They have food and beverages that you can get too, but they're always overpriced.

Seen The Wiz tonight it was beautiful loved it the songs the acting everything was awesome

Great theater, clean restrooms and restroom attendees, intermission restroom lines move quickly.

Beautiful theater with comfortable seats--the view was good from the upper tier. The only drawback is that there were no changing stations in the bathrooms (we were there for a graduation).

Very nice!! There is a parking garage adjacent to the building so there is a little walking involved. Sat in mezzanine seats during the performance. There is a concession stand on the 1st floor that sells snacks & adult beverages. It was very clean (including the restrooms) & there were ushers to assist. Definitely 5 stars!!!

The closest box seats prevent you from seeing deep into the stage. I would recommend sitting in seats 3/4 to get more viewable space the other box seats seem safe!

Great show selections. We have season tickets so we dont miss out. A beautiful facility for night on the town.

Visited the Hobby Center today for a matinee performance of Elf. Fabulous experience! Convenient valet parking, professional and welcoming ushers, and family friendly fun performance.

The facility is clean, the shows are terrific. The staff are volunteers so it's kinda hit or miss on how friendly and helpful they are.

I saw Aladdin here with my daughter and other family and it was such a good show! The heater is beautiful and regal. A true gem in Houston!

My family and I have been to numerous musical and plays here. We ve enjoyed each event we ve attended and have always had a great experience.
