My husband and I stayed in an oceanfront view room. It was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Balcony has beautiful views of ocean. Sun deck, pool, beach access. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Lynell and Katelyn did a wonderful job putting together our Company Christmas party this year. They were the ideal team for planning our event and easy to work with. I highly recommend them and the Hilton Garden Inn for your next party. Thank you Lynell and Katelyn.

The room had a great view of the ocean, and the hotel is right off the beach. The staff was very friendly, and the service was good. The Keurig in our room wasn't working, but after calling the front desk, someone was there by fix it right away. The restaurant in the lobby had great burgers too.

I am having my wedding here next year. The hotel is new. Its beautiful and has everything you need at your finger tips and it doesn't hurt that the stores around the hotel are awesome too.

Awesome place, awesome staff! Treated royal even for a short stay! I WILL be back! This is reasonable and worth every penny!

Overall a good experience. The staff (too many of which I had to meet - more on that later) we're all friendly and provided great service. The room was ok, but we needed to ask housekeeping to come vacuum the floor as there was still debris on it when we arrived. The deadbolt on the door wouldn't laugh because the door was apparently not square with the frame. Hotel staff was prompt when we called and used a prybar to fix it. That lasted for about a day, so now I need to list it on the door to get the deadbolt to slide into the doorframe. The sliding door lock also did not engage and actually broke. This was also due to the door not being square with the frame. Again, staff came promptly to repair the door, but this in took a while since they had to go find spare parts. The Keurig lid was not latching shut to brew coffee. Again, this was promptly taken care of. Finally, it appears that someone left a set of dentures on the nightstand, which left a permanent mark. That's just kind of creepy. Again, overall the hotel was good and none of this caused our vacation to be a bad experience, but I wish the things noted above would have been addressed before we checked in. I know they are trying to turn rooms quickly, but it was a but of a disappointment from what I expected from Hilton and I would still recommend this hotel over others we have stayed in at Virgina Beach.

The lady named Andrea who was working the towels. She was Excellent! So polite, tidy always smiled at everyone. Cleaned every towel that was used and provided clean towels to whomever asked. We really liked her. We stayed on the 12 th floor. Nice room too.

My experience with the staff staying at the Hilton Gardens was amazing they treated me just like I was their family, can't wait to do it again

I love the breakfast buffet omlets are my favorite Western. Breakfast is a little pricey but atmosphere is great. They offer a large variety at most location Virgina beach seems to be a little different than the others.

When we got to our room, the house keeper supervisor ran in and say she hadn't checked it yet even though the front desk gave us the keys. When we got our final bill there was a charge for beach services. We had to call and get it taken off.

Good hotel, very clean, only one bad day of housekeeping. Spoke to desk and they sent someone up right away.

Beautiful property in a great spot! Only some critiques: I had two rooms requested same floor and despite communication it was not able to be done. No issue for me! But possibly an issue for a family. Sean was very kind at the desk when we got our keys at 1am our first night and made great conversation and suggestions to us. I would love to visit this property again.

It's a Hilton ... great hotel staff/service, roomy 2 queen bed room with a great beachfront view and a restaurant with awesome food and friendly staff.

Loved loved loved it here. The Christmas trees that they had up were absolutely beautiful. We stayed on the club level so the view from the balcony was really nice. The room itself is a little small but it was clean and comfortable. Loved the t.v. in the bathroom mirror. We took full advantage of all of the amenities available to us. Room service was great. We dined at Catch21.... It was okay. We really loved staying. We originally booked the room for 2 days but ended up staying 5 days. I hated leaving

Very nice hotel it is right on the boardwalk and beach. Prices are extremely high. The amenities at the hotel are very nice. Has a rooftop pool in hot tub as well as a rooftop bar. The bars called the sky bar. That is pretty much the highlight of the hotel.

The hotel itself was beautiful and it was right on the boardwalk. They offer free valet parking which is nice. The restaurant was mostly burgers and was very delicious. The drinks were also good although not very strong.

Went to Lagerheads for dinner. Food was amazing! Great local beers on tap and good music.

Easy going nature of the staff helps you to feel right at home. Everyone was kind, curtious, and eager to assist when needed.

Booked the Valentine's romance package with an Ocean view room. The view was amazing. The champagne and chocolates were a nice gesture as well.

Great stay. Came here for our anniversary. Love the ocean view. Everyone was kind and the restaurant lagerhead has amazing food. Only downfall was being pressured to go to a timeshare seminar at the beginning of our stay. The concierge spent 15 mins as soon as we got there talking about why we should visit this timeshare meeting to get a free gift card. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and very quiet stay during college beach weekend.

Overall I would rate the experience as pleasant. I attended a wedding at the hotel and employees were helpful, food was delicious, and rooms were very clean. It was an enjoyable stay.

Nice conference rooms. Great course. Comfortable temperatures.

The Valet people are very incompetent and are careless with your car. The left my car for 3 hours and left the key in the car overnight and my car ran out of gas and battery was dead. Had to tow it to the car shop the next morning. The room service was very good but the manager Ryan is very inexperience and clueless. Please go and have fun there but do not bother with valet parking. Beware folks.

What COULD go wrong DID go wrong, from the front desk canceling our reservation, to not having a maid even knock on our door in 3 days, to the key scanner kept falling off the door. These "are you kidding me" annoyances lasted up to when we checked out. I'd gone to the restaurant to get the breakfast bar before checking out. My "waitress," who was just leaning against a wall, indicated where to sit by jutting her chin toward a table. She never came by with coffee (there was no coffee on the bar) or to see if I needed anything. She didn't even come by to give me my check. I waited, then went to look for her. There was NO ONE in the entire restaurant. I finally just left, and told the front desk to put the breakfast bar on my bill, and why. The desk clerk visibly cringed, told me he'd comp the breakfast bar, and took one day off the total amount. Too little too late. He could have comped the entire stay, but our trip was already ruined.

Worst front desk staff in the Hilton corporation, I'm a Hilton Honors Diamond, that means we travel for a living, I called the front desk staff 1 week before my arrival and asked for an early check in but was told it could not be posible then I asked to have my room ready at 4:00pm no later, we arrive at the hotel and this front desk guy Is rude not appreciate us guest who put food on their tables and just laughed at me when I asked him to call housekeeping and check on my room

The location is great for walking to shops and restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Clean hotel with nice pool (small but nice place to relax). Only downside, the hotel next door sticks out a bit past balconies of hilton garden Inn causing blocked view down one side of boardwalk.

The Hilton Garden (and I believe other Hilton properties) allowed me and my wife to stay at this hotel free of charge for working in hospital care.. HUGE humanitarian offer during this time of pandemic and greatly appreciated! The lobby, hallways, and rooms were incredibly clean without smelling like chemicals. Parking was conveniently located across the street in a garage (normal parking anywhere at the oceanfront during tourist season is $10/day). The room was spacious and offered a great view, but the TV interface felt dated and limited (I recommend considering a more intuitive and responsive program guide service). Understandably, food services were not provided at the hotel but we wish we would've been informed at check-in which would help us plan ahead.. however they did provide menus of local restaurants that were still operating for take-out. Overall a fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone visiting the oceanfront!

The beds were very uncomfortable. The breakfast, which looks and tastes like your standard complimentary breakfast, is not complimentary. The signage explaining what is free and what isn't is confusing- and I am an English teacher with two bachelor's and a masters. Reading and decoding is sort of my thing- but apparently this hotel has me beat. It appears that the $15 charge applies to food ordered from the chef window, but alas, it's for all the hot food.There was no staff available for me to ask when we arrived, so I assumed, which is my fault. But in the end, my family paid 60 bucks for what was free two hotels down the road. For a hotel that was so expensive and appears to be so nice, $15 for carton scrambled eggs and half cooked bacon is ridiculous. The pool was murky and salty- my pool loving children spent exactly 10 minutes in it before asking to go back to the room. These are children who will stay in a pool until they grow gills and fins. Maybe this hotel is better suited for couples or singles and not families. We will not be back.

I had a very enjoyable stay here at the Hilton Garden Inn. I cannot wait for the Lager Head bar and grill to open downstairs. You'll be able to enjoy a nice meal in the restaurant or have a drink at the open-air partitioned bar, complete with live music. The staff and facility here in Virginia Beach have exceeded the Hilton brand's high standard. With immaculate rooms, spectacular ocean views and pristine beach access I would not stay anywhere else along the oceanfront. Parking is Included in the nearby parking structure which is super convenient here along the boardwalk. I will definitely stay here again.

This is one of the best hotels in VA Beach. It is fairly new, clean and has great amenities. My family and I stay here every time we visit the beach.

Attended a company Christmas party, staff was very professional and courteous. Food and services provided were also outstanding.

Comfortable rooms, great beach access and mobility to other places. Water pressure was a bit low, and the key cards can work poorly but the view was amazing!

We had a great time. Front desk staff was very friendly when we arrived. Room was clean and loved having a view of the ocean. Easy access to the boardwalk, restaurants, entertainment. Would definitely stay here again.

The view from the room was really now and relaxing. At night it was even better when the moon hit the water. PROS: bar in the lobby everything is walking distance and souvenirs shops. CONS: unless you made reservations through the hotel website you will be paying for your breakfast every day.
W/O said great experience. So whomever stays in room 1202 I've decided to hide something your objective is to find the object , but you mustn't ruin the game for everyone else once you find it put it n. So you can't post it . Can't forget the staff also really nice.

I have stayed once, the amenities are well put together. The restaurant downstairs is my main reason in going. The prices are high, but competitive to all restaurants on the Oceanfront. The food is considerably better than most.

Customer service there is so bad. Rooms average. Pricing... you can find better place for the price, at least with a good service.

Room was only cleaned once during our 6 day stay. Sheets were not changed. Breakfast dishes and cups were dirty. You would expect more from the brand.

I stayed overnight to celebrate new years. The staff were very kind ans polite despite having to work on the holiday. Enjoyed my stay very much

Tehhe game's on as I'm writing this so I'll keep this simple. All out of 10 Room cleanliness: 10 Hotel Services: 8 (I had no need to contact the desk for anything and the room was kept clean while I was enjoying the beach) Room comfort: 8 (throw pillows on the couch would've been nice considering the high armrests, but still comfortable) Facities: 9 (restrooms in the lobby were clean and functional, the indoor/outdoor pool was clean and heated to a comfortable temperature cafe for breakfast was very clean and the staff working it were very friendly and kind) Overall 9 (this is easily one of the best Hilton hotels I've stayed at, and I've been to more than my fair share, and being right on the beach is one heck of a bonus)

Clean, friendly, nice atmosphere. Even with a room right at the elevator it was pretty quiet most of the time. Only coming would be the housekeeping staff allowing their door to slam each time they went in their "room". Aside from that it was great.

I was attending a work related event. The room comfortable and well lit. The enjoyable atmosphere made for a wonderful evening. Valet Parking was very nice and punctual. I look forward to going again.

Best hotel stay in VA Beach. Friendly staff, clean rooms. The restaurant and bar is located towards the rear of the hotel and man is it good. Overall an awesome stay and experience. Will definitely stay here again. Though there is a timeshare company across the street and they try to lure you in for a meeting with a prize for attending....

I had a breakfast meeting with a client.it had a great view of the beach. The next time I will try the made to order food. The breakfast buffet was nice good French toast.

The side service door slams and both adjacent hotels can hear it from all bordering rooms.

Right on the beach. Near food and activities. Good pool. The jacuzzi is a bit lame as it is only a separate section of the pool.

The rooms were large and very clean. The ocean view made the hotel a top choice.
