Hilton Hotel Kalastajatorppa Review

Better than expected. Great views, cousy spa area with pool and sauna. Nice clean rooms and good breakfast incl nutella (always a must). Got a great price as well when joining the Hilton club.

A quiet business hotel just outside the center of Helsinki. It is divided into two wings, with only the Seasidde Wing has direct access to the sea. I was in the other wing, where you could also see from a little further to the sea. The rooms are already a bit older, but well maintained and comfortable. Rich breakfast buffet.
Convenient is the tram station, which stops near the hotel.

Had an excellent lunch here with a good friend from Finland. We ate Salmon.

The hotel is a little bit outdated, but very calm and the room had an awesome view.

There's no point asking my time of arrival if you greet me with "your room will not be ready until tomorrow 2pm".
Slept in car.
Still got charged 250 for the room i never seen.

The room is big enough, breakfast is good and the staff is kind. As it is a slope from the end point of the drum (4, 4T), it may be painful if it is a large package to the entrance.

It seems to be nothing, but there is a "dirty trick".

Have good free parking and peaceful place to stay...

Loving hotel with great views and delicious breakfast. The rooms in Sea-Side Wing have the best times already behind them. Big Samsung TV, friendly staff and a quiet location with direct train connection.

Very nice village near from the sea. Good for taking a walk and good to go to city by tram.

Solid and good Hilton on the outskirts of Helsinki. Quite a brilliant place to stay during the warmer summer months as the nature and the sea is all around and offers relaxing spots just to hangout. Breakfast is good Hilton quality but can get busy!

Excellent hotel in really nice landscape. A little bit away from city center, but easy to come here with public transportation. Free parking around hotel, valet parking also available. Ask rooms from outer building and window towards bay. Excellent view in summer and winter times. Breakfast is a little bit better than originally Finnish hotels.
Hotel offers bicycle and canoes free to hotel guests, also you can rent golf bag.

Long restaurant like. The hunger arrived at 20.30, now it's 21.50 and they still haven't brought anything

Lovely sea view with swift friendly service. The menu has many delicious traditional dishes in addition to some innovative combinations.

Decent hotel, with the breakfast included, you get what you need, even more

Hilton Kalastajatorppa is located a 15 minute drive from central Helsinki and about 30 minutes from the airport. Whilst you can use public transport I would suggest that you have a car or take a taxi. The hotel on a fabulous location with a private beach and marvellous views over the bay. There are nice bars and restaurants at the hotel at both sides of the hotel. The sea side has rooms with a stunning view as well as a nice indoor pool and saunas and the city side has a small but well equipped gym. There is also a Spa with basic services. The rooms are big and well planned as are the bathrooms. I would recommend the hotel for a relaxing break and less so for exploring Helsinki, but are possible.

Cozy, pleasant hotel. On the shore of the bay in a picturesque place. Great service, great food and drinks.

Unlike some people I like good rooms in my travels and the Hilton was a good option at a great value for the money. It is 30 minutes from central station or less depending on traffic. Tram 4 is 200 meters away. It can cause some disorder with suitcases and with people with some difficulty of mobility. The hotel is very nice and the breakfast delicious. There are photos of illustrious visitors. It sits by the lake. Negative point: the prices of the fridge, I have been waiting for the most expensive tonic in the world.

Location fine, but the restaurant service's ability to repeatedly shortcomings

Good places for the car outdoors. In addition, a paid parking garage for a fee of 20 per day, if available (type2 Tesla and type2 Virta.fi). The hotel was clean, great food and beautiful nature around. Exquisite oceanfront view from the window.

View from this hotel is awesome. Service and staff really good. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Food is a bit expensive but worth the money.

It's shame that this hotel belonge to Hilton Group . This is 2 star hotel not more . Only buffet breakfast I can give 3 star.

Tunnel sauna facilities and swimming pool as well as ihq interior

I enjoyed my stay. But I lost my jacket when I left my luggage at the reception. Pls help me find it. The staff was polite but not helpful. I need my jacket on the flight back as I get cold on board.

Some distance from the city but great location by the sea. Rooms are nice, service attentive and breakfast was well curated. Extra plus for bikes to borrow for a trip to the city and the sauna by the pool. Recommended!

We had a very nice stay, friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a ton of choices for anyone and well maintained. The room was clean, cozy bed, great view of the bay - we killed the minibar! Only downside, the room too warm and there was no way to cool it down.

Room was lovely, service good and breakfast abundant and good taste BUT time swine price per animal 30 / night. That's why there will hardly be an overnight stay at Fisherman's Whale, even though ikin was pleasant

It is a great milieu and everything works as it should.

We stayed for the weekend. And it was great. The breakfast was great (just be there early to avoid rush hour).

The view from the room is great. There are parks and a lake near the hotel which is great. It is a bit far from centre of Helsinki.

Great sauna and pool! But I expected better in room facilities though. No slippers, no robe, no toothbrush?

Just had dinner at the restaurant. Food was good but real USP is the view of the waterbody outside. Was not lucky enough to be able to grab a seat in the balcony outside. Restaurant is worth a visit. Cannot say anything about the hotel accommodation though.

Used up carpets, torn up doors, chabby furniture, slow service in the restaurant. Not what I would expect from Hilton, especially comming directly from the Hilton in Tallinn.

My experience in the hotel was excellent. Hotel is in the very scenic place with long history. Only one negative poibt is water bottles are pricey.

Just a one day staycation, very nice and historic Helsinki hotel.

Arrived late in the evening, was greeted by polite staff. The rooms are great, clean and have a good quality. The bathroom is well featured and the shower has warm water in seconds. The breakfast was awesome, they served fresh orange juice at the table, together with coffee. Easily recommended!

90s cottage with beautiful sea view, quiet, relaxing. Recommended
