Hilton Garden Inn Valdosta Reviews

Nice hotel but the staff is seriously under-trained. While my experience was (mostly) uneventful, I witnessed several instances of other guests being hassled and jerked-around by the staff.

Experience was very great...it was clean and easy to access what i needed. Free wifi as well as water and ice. Easy protected access to rooms and easy to find parking. Free breakfast which is usually 10.95 a person.

Another where do I begin. Check in time we moved 3 times. One of the times someone was already assigned to the room. Staff lied about when the manager would be on duty. It's a lot of hotels in the area. Choose another one!

The pillows and beds are wonderful. Slept like a baby.

For the price..I don't think I would recommend it. Breakfast is Not complimentary!! Unusual for a large chain like Hilton I feel. I usually stay at Hampton inn (yes part of the Hilton family of hotels) and I think they are on the same level as this Hilton and above it in certain ways (especially getting a wonderful free breakfast) so..I don't think I will return here just yet.

Cable goes in and out every thirty seconds while watching. Annoying.

Certainly not the cleanest establishment I've stayed in. Trash littered the hallways and rooms "felt" less than pristine. The loss of hot water was a real inconvenience and the front desk seemed frustrated when I inquired about it. Having stayed at several Hilton properties over the years, this one simply didn't live up to the usual standard.

A nice place. The bedding was very comfortable. My stay was a very pleasant experience.

Everyone helpful and accommodating. Extra large parking lot. Well maintained and clean. Not one single thing wrong.

Rooms are decent. Breakfast is expensive with no free option.

Had a great stay from my anniversary! The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the Hilton grill and the grilled salmon was excellent. There are complimentary drinks with your stay and free continental breakfast! Hilton is located just across from mall and several diners just off I75.

I'm posting this picture because this hotel has a fantastic parking lot for a stop for bigger trucks and trailers. We were driving a 26' uhaul and a 12' trailer and had plenty of room to maneuver. Several others stopped as well. The hotel is nice, the staff is nice as well.

Older hotel right next to a very old motor inn with many less desirables. Hotel was dark and complete lack of acceptable service. Bar was manned off and on after 5 pm. Never got emailed receipt . Rooms need to be remodeled, everything is rather dated.

The Hilton Garden Inn is easily located right off of I-75. It is a clean and friendly establishment. Onsite ammenities that I noticed were a workout room, office essentials, 24 hr snack shop, washer and dryer, along with a restaurant. The only thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars was there is no complementary breakfast. Instead, expect to pay $10.95 per person, plus tip. All in all, this is still the best place to stay when you come to the drag races in Cecil, GA, just outside of Valdosta.

This place made me change my mind about being a Hilton honors member. It was clean enough, the staff was friendly, but the actual place was run down and the accommodations in the room itself were not good at all. The bed hurt me to sleep on the pillows were terrible and I couldn't swap any of it out. The sink smelled like something died inside there every time I ran the water and even though I told the front desk about it immediately nothing changed and I wasn't offered to move rooms.

Only gave one star due to the incredibly nice staff! I found bed bugs, took pics and video and also found eggs under mattresses. They moved us rooms and gave us a complimentary breakfast but I still couldn't sleep all night in fear that I was going to get bit! Once in the new room there were seals on everything stating it had been sanitized and clean... hmmm Toothpaste splatters all over mirror, nasty smel, carpets dirty and bedding had hair and crumbs =/. Choose a different hotel! This is by far one of the worst I been in. Seems to he after reading all the reviews, that they need to fire and hire some NEW housekeeping staff!

I'm a Hilton rewards member and got this room for free utilizing my rewards points. Room was excellent. Staff were all courteous and knowledgeable. Wonderful stay as always. Love Georgia and love the Hilton family hotels. Can't wait to stay again.

Shower curtain was ripped, towels were not folded, air conditioning down stairs wasn't working, no plates at the breakfast bar, rude cooks at the breakfast bar, gym just sucked to much to list on that. Shower would not drain although repaired once I complained. On a up side the front desk was very nice and the short hair bartender was great!

Excellent hotel in Valdosta. Great service and staff. Have stayed here several times.
Next to a mall and many restaurants to choose from.

Good location for local restaurants.
Their food was good too.

Even though I only stayed for one night I most definitely enjoyed my stay. The rooms are very clean and inviting and the staff are pleasant individuals. I will recommend this hotel to anyone that visits Valdosta Georgia.

Very nice staff and an all around nice hotel. The building was well maintained, clean, and quiet.

The staff was really nice... I change rooms 4 times because of how soiled the chairs were. The last room the chairs were still soiled and the shower was just gross, and the remote should just need to be replaced it is gross too... this was the dirtiest Hilton I have ever stayed in.... the lobby and the rest of the common area were very clean. I wanted to upload the pictures that I took but there was no place to do it. This is my 1st bad Google review. It needs to be mentioned so other people don t make the same mistake I did by come here.

Having been in Hilton Honor card number for over 20 years we normally pick out a regular Hilton and/or a double tree but recently I ve noticed that these Hilton Garden Inn s are fabulous they offer sweets they offer the breakfast they re new they re just wonderful especially with their business center ones

I highly recommend this line of the Hilton brand

Hotel was clean, quiet and had everything ready when I arrived.

Great stay. Comfortable and adjustable bed. Less than a mile off 75 and a great burger on their menu. Very kind and professional staff.

The building gives a grand first impression. Staff is delightful and friendly. Room was clean, and with a comfortable bed. Many restaurants close by; walking distance, or a short drive.

I slept good. I was worried about my car since the sign in the lot said to park at your own risk.

Hotel appeared to be new, was very nicely decorated and clean. Room was very nice. I am disabled and we had never thought of staying in a accessible room but will from now on. My husband had the on site breakfast the next morning and said it was good. Only issue we encountered was handicap parking. They had only four that really close to the building. They had a few more in the rear of the building but if you were traveling on your own they would be very inconvenient to use.

Everything was just fine. Oh yea, great water pressure, hell yeah!!!

Unbelievable! In an effort to "go green" they decided to turn off the power from 1 to 2 p.m.. No ice, no elevator, no bar, no t.v.. This was not thought out very well. Why not do this in the middle of the night??? Is it because no one would notice your efforts??? There was also a very foul smell coming from the bathroom.

Stayed here for 3 nights.. Area clean (lobby) nice staff.. rooms well if you travel enough rooms are rooms, this one was somewhat ok. My review is mainally on the restaurants, smh thee worest or one of the worest/Tue took 25 min, Wed took 25 min, today was way better 15 min. one 1 server (each day different) and two cooks (each time different). if you eat breakfast come down at least an hour.

The people at the Valdosta Hilton Garden Inn helped to make our wedding anniversary the best. Nice room and delicious breakfast buffet.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden inn the week of Thanksgiving. Honestly for the price and the name, I expected more. In the first room that I was given the chair and ottoman was very dirty, and the air conditioner/ heater had mold on the inside. Luckily the night shift attendant was very understanding and switched me to another room.

Nice hotel for the most part. Half if it is smoking though and if you go to far up in the floors, non-smoking rooms still smell like smoke. Luckily we were able to change rooms and move to another floor.

We stopped here on our way north. Some of the reviews are negative, but I am glad I didn t read them before booking. Our experience was very positive. Check in was easy, our room clean and quiet. I chose the breakfast included option, cheaper than it would have been had I purchased it this morning. Very nice people made up our to-go order of scrambled eggs, grits, toast, and turkey sausage. We both enjoyed our food. So thanks, Hilton, for a great night.

Service & rooms are great. Only complaint is the pull out couch. Very uncomfortable.
