Lovely hotel with large comfortable rooms. Bathrooms are also large and modern and the showers are especially nice. We were lucky enough to have a view of the mountains out of the window too. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the welcome cookies are a nice touch. The only problem was that there was someone smoking on our non-smoking floor and the smell was very strong in our room. On the plus side, when staff were informed they promised to handle the situation.

Typical big city hotel with clean comfortable rooms. Good showers and nice linen enhance your room experience. Outstanding breakfast with all one can desire for the start of your day, from salmon to muffins, pastries to a selection of breads, great jams, real butter, not to mention all the usual suspects of eggs and bacon. Staff through out the hotel were extremely friendly.

Loved everything about this place. I brought my mom to Cape Town for a mini vacation and we absolutely enjoyed our stay here. I'm a Hilton honors member and I have stayed in many of the double tree hotels around the world and this one was my favorite. When I come to SA/Cape Town this will be my place to stay. The stuff was welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The cookie and food was the best. The room was specious, bright, comfortable and very clean. The place is a little bit out from entertaining or activities but it was easier to get ubber and they have a hotel taxi. Our room faced the mountain and had amazing views. I highly, highly recommend this place.

UPDATE: September 2019
Came back, and still received professional services from the front desk and restaurant stuff. I have to say they have the most comfortable beds for a hotel. The cleaning ladies were rude to me at first speaking Xhosa thinking that I cannot hear them. I never confronted them or complained instead one day I responded to one in Xhosa and you could tell by the look on her face that she was surprised that I speak the language. I may look different or maybe they assumed I was coming from the US that I cannot understand them but I'm a proudly South African. This doesn't change how I feel about this hotel and the hospitality, my family and I only stay here when we visit home. Highly recommend, I will be back.

Although I was sceptical about its location, positive reviews convinced me to book it. The area turned out to be a pleasant surprise. On arrival we were given a lovely cookie each. We could have asked for more from breakfast, but for the price offered, it was well worth it. Pleasant and dedicated staff.

Really bad experience. I was racially profiled and it reminded me of the Apartheid Era. Really shocking experience from an International brand.

The General Manager responded to my complaint but I feel that he could not relate to my experience and how his staff made me feel. This is rather disturbing.

Hilton group you broke my heart.

Nice little hotel. Room I had was great, split over two floors. If you are working in Cape Town this is a great place to stay. Views are not great, but the hotel is convieniently located. Easy run to Table Mountain, the airport and other places.

Many things weren t ok, but no one asked about that when we checked out althou they have a policy where in theory they need to make sure everyone s happy with their services. Thet couldn t care less Heating wasn t working, someone came to fix it...it never worked properly. The shower was fixed in the wall (felt like in a prison)..there were so many other things that happened. Plus the hotel is not in a very good area also. U need taxi to go anywhere.
On the good side, breakfast selection and room service menu were better than in a much more expensive hotel that i previously stayed at

I am a member of the HiltonHonours loyalty program so I am a bit biased towards this group. However, this hotel is very reasonably priced; the service is the very best I have experienced across all the Hilton hotels and I have stayed at quite a few. I love the decor and ambience and the concept of a mini mall here and it s about 200m from the main road which makes it conveniently placed.

We were welcomed by friendly staff with a huge warm chocolate cookie. The room was big and spacious. The breakfast was 5 star quality. I forced hubby to try some of my potatoes and he said that he could've eaten a huge bowl! He said that the omelette was delicious and fluffy. Wish I could have an amazing breakfast like that every morning!
